I don't care that Rex is gone he made many mistakes of his own. I'm concerned about the future workings of the FO and ownership ...in regards to your point about future candidates your missing the obvious...Whaley is going to promote Lynn. Lynn will be a first time head coach and Whaley won't be in immediate danger. If he brought in a qualified guy like Coughlin, Cowher, etc. the HC could cause problems for him. Lynn will be happy just to finally get a HC job.

Greg Bedard saying Terry Pegula is basically Jim Haslett Jr. and Whaley is in self preservation mode. Calling it a joke up here and a total disaster. Laughing that Pegula is listening to Whaley about playing Manuel because he drafted him 16th so obviously he is better. He goes on to say most of the defensive guys in Buffalo are DUMB and just don't get it!!!! Says he would have giving Rex one more year and the fact that Rex was the most successful coach since Wade. Now they are laughing at Kim and Terry meeting with the players behind Rex back, comedy club. Now harping on Watkins failure, then zero contribution from this years draft class. Pretty damming stuff coming from a Sports Illustrated guy, there is some national perspective. Comparing it to Tannebuam in NY, says he likes Doug and had a nice eye for talent while in Pittsburgh but hasn't hit on his big picks in Buffalo. Saying it's easy for Whaley to cozy up to the owners while Rex worked all day long. Saying they need to clear house and that mixing and matching never works, it leaves a door open for the new coach to go behind Whaley now. A ton of stuff that a bunch of us have said but I found it interesting how harsh he was on the Pegula's and the current state of the FO.

That's not a guess, that's the truth and Whaley himself has never forgot to mention how talented this team is. A bunch of fans bought into it as well.

Can we just fast forward 3 years to the Pegula press conference where they are firing Whaley and Lynn? That's going to be a day worth celebrating. Rex needed to go but not at the hands of Whaley and his entire staff should be toast including Lynn. Needed to shake up the organization and find someone the players buy into. I'm afraid with Lynn they already have a comfort level and it will be much of the same.

Few years later and here we are...Doug Whaley and EJ Manuel...

That would make me lose all faith I have in the owners to turn this around and I can see it happening.

Said it a million times and I will say it again...Justin Tucker is the only FG kicker with an individual kicking coach. The results speak for themselves, this clown show has more coaches than any team I remember but couldn't break the bank on a kicker coach. Just another oversight for these jokesters.

Tyrod is still doing absolutely nothing presnap, that is caveman football at best and absolute garbage from my side of things. If you can't read a defense and adjust the play you are hurting the team. Did his 2 minute drill improve yesterday? I didn't watch the game but it has been slow and disorganized all season and zero change occured with Lynn calling the plays. Hire a guy who's strengths coincide with modern day football and stop making things more difficult than they are. Last year I gave a breakdown of Sports Illustrated absolutely destroying the Bills "elementary" passing schemes. Trent Dilfer destroyed them, lol Trent Dilfer... How many of those winning teams have we beat this year?

Anyone see Donald Penn's interview? Good stuff, he almost broke down while talking about his guy getting to Carr on the play he got hurt.

I think using the offensive stats could be very misleading in terms of deciding if this guy is HC material or not. He is running plays from someone else's playbook and we haven't seen TT progress. We also haven't seen sound game planning on a week to week basis. Lynn has been around Rex for years, that in itself would have me leaning the other way on a potential hire. This coaching staff certainly hasn't had success with this group of players, the schedule was baby soft this year and they are sitting at 7-8. Find a new coach, change the program.

On its coach? This is the same Miami team that wacked Awilliams and this is the Bills response. The problems are much deeper than Rex. This groups of players don't give a ****, sure a player here or there does...but the majority of these guys are along for the ride. Some big money guys.

No kidden right. Just off the top of my head how about Altantas draft. Both their leading tacklers are rookies, one of them is a linebacker with two touchdowns on 3 interceptions. That's more touchdowns than Watkins and Gilmore has never had more than 3 picks until this year. That's an impact player.
