  1. FWIW I just watched a Gase interview and it seems to me that he likes Cutler more than Tanny. He was very confident and vouching for Cutler on every question. It will be fun to see how it turns out.
  2. I don't remember, I do remember his bowl game leading up to the draft.... He looked like a drunk Trent Edwards trying to throw check downs.
  3. He is a bust, sure that's right. You can't really flame Elway for getting it wrong though, he used a late first and avoided over paying Brock. A wasted first pick but saved some serious dough and headaches with the Brock Life.
  4. Not sure if this is sarcastic but I agree. Don't tell the writers what to write, make them write it. Getting all frisky in practice, hey how about cutting down on the time it takes you to get a snap off in the two minute. I put all the dirt on him before he even put the uniform on just be nice and leave some flowers.
  5. Jeffsmagic! Hope you are well man. This thread is a little ridiculous. Plenty of posters have bad takes, including myself, Jeff's only problem was his repeat button was stuck.
  6. Go outside your office, run full speed into the brick wall. Do that 40 times. Go lay in bed for a week then do it again. See how you feel in 10 years.
  7. Couldn't it be a redemption story? We have seen career miediocre QB's have a good season late in their careers. I think he comes out hot then once some controversy strikes he will revert back to being Cutlet. Miami has some nice pieces for a guy that likes to sling it.
  8. It wouldn't be a total shocker if Cutler played above average for 10-16 games, I agree his attitude sucks, he is a baby etc. I could see him coming in motivated and having a decent run with the cast around. The hinges will come off eventually but he may play decent for a stretch.
  9. It's Sunday night, sleep tight and make sure you're all up early so you can get back to your little jobs.
  10. Yeah I didn't think surgery was in the discussion, did a quick google and found an SN article from an hour ago saying that McD wasn't ruling it out. Hopefully the latest news is the right news from coach.
  11. Is Cordy is out for any length of time it goes from just dandy to DOOOMED real quick!
  12. I'm not betting money on TT failing that would be a serious conflict of interests while I'm trying to cheer on the Bills. No amount of money is worth that. Changing names is harmless fun and something to look back at as the season goes on.
  13. If this club has fancy wine and good looking women I'm going to sneak in.
  14. So if he increases his productivity by 25 percent in the yardage department and his touchdowns by 33 percent then we will keep him. Awesome. If Jordan Mills improves his play by similiar percentages he would be Tyron smith. Double awesome! I'm really feeling Mike Glennon tonight, you can have total yards. So the bet would be both QBs have to start week 1, the winner has the most total yards at the end of the regular season. Naming rights. If either QB gets hurt or benched during the season that is tough luck and it doesn't change the terms of the bet. I have Glennon going 3800-4200.
  15. If you post this about TT I'm scared for your health if/when we do get a stud QB. Or then will you revert to contrarian?
  16. Let's start listing the assumed risks of crappy paying jobs too, we had some guys insulate our house and they were using a blowing machine to blow material in the walls that also kills mice. Walk outside and watch these guys loading it inside the machine while in the truck and being covered in it. Makes me wonder how many years those fools took off their lives for what kind of pay. I felt bad for them. The NFL much like many other jobs is a sacrifice, at least they get paid well. Sure make the game as safe as possible, that makes sense. What doesn't make sense is the outrage over it, I could see not letting your kids play because they have better options in life. Know who won't stop playing? The kids and families who have no better options and see it as a chance to end the vicious cycle of poverty for themselves.
  17. Good ride, just get off before the end. Good ride, just get off before the end.
  18. So essentially everything is intact but the knee is still loose? That's how the MRI came back clean and he failed the Lachman? Sounds like a long term problem.
  19. If he is out for an EXTENDED period of time being home with his wife is a nice consolation prize.
  20. I appreciate anyone who is giving their honest evaluation of what things look like. Combine a few things we hear and make best sense of it.
  21. Mixed emotions from me, it would help the Bills in two games this year but it means more bad QB play. Not that I'm a huge Tanny fan but they won 8 out of his last 9 and he is at least serviceable. I can't stand watching bad football.
  22. I get that feeling too, probably doing an MRI and hoping for the best all while expecting the worst.
  23. https://mobile.twitter.com/JamesWalkerNFL?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor Could be worth watching
  24. Make my own. 4 cans Tutturoso crushed tomatoes. 1.5 pounds beef 2 onions Fresh garlic Two green bell peppers Pack of hot sausages Mushrooms Brown the meet, add the sauce, cut up all the additions and add them. Sprinkle in a ton of pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder. Cook on medium low for 4-5 hours. If the sausages aren't cooked before hand you may want to leave it at a low boil for awhile. For every 2 cans of sauce you use add one can of water.
  25. Same birthday as TB. How cute. Maybe they can have some cake together.
