I know the majority is pissed and we have had our good timethrowing out jokes at OBD. So now that I have a few minutes I will explain my fire and fury. I loved Darby as much as I hate Watkins. I guess that makes me neutral on the two players. Sure Sammy has the tools to become great and could/should have much more value then what they received in exchange. Darby may/may not bounce back but I like his chances and the inexperienced secondary just added a guy falling down the Rams depth chart. The players going out the door aren't why I'm upset.... With Jordan Matthews coming to Buffalo and playing along side Boldin and Zay my biggest gripe is McBeane and Dennison are the Rex Ryan's of offense. Are they going to reinvent the wheel by catering to a running game with blocking WR and a short yardage horizontal passing game!?! Yikes. I don't expect anymore trades that would indicate a tank, I'm convinced these guys think it's a viable offense and they are surrounding Tyord with the proper pieces. That's why I'm sick. The fear that we have a whole new set of "smartest guys in the room"

Serious question: Is this the beginning of a tank?
CommonCents replied to Heavy Kevi's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah it's going to suck to tell my nephew, he loves his Watkins jersey and has a wrap that goes around his wall with Watkins and his name on it. Kinda harsh lesson for a 7 year old when your dad and uncle turned you into a Bills fan in Boston and then your favorite player goes to LA. Blah -

Anyone remember a team trading two big pieces right after the start of preseason. That beings an entirely different set of questions, why now!? Did it talk you that long to find a trading partner, or did you just not like what you saw last night? Orrrrr the always possible are you just another terrible GM without a plan. You got a few picks in return, the same kind of picks you traded away to jump around the draft board. GET OUT!

Watkins and Darby trades were made to appease Kim Jung and save Guam. -

Could Ragland be surprise cut of 2017?
CommonCents replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They have about 4-5 write ups on Ragland and if I remember correctly they were pro Rags articles. I was against the pick before it was made. I'm not sure if I have gone through the most recent one. I like Erik, I think one of the articles was written by someone else. If you have the link please send me the one you're talking about. -
Could Ragland be surprise cut of 2017?
CommonCents replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Remember when Michael Sam had 10 sacks and won the SEC defensive player of the year? Rolando McClain? Maurice Clairborne? That award hardly means anything when you go the next level, Sam tied for the award with Mosley and his measurable were horrible. Ragland is not a modern day NFL linebacker. -
Do a little research all the information is out there. It won't say surge on these rides they just charge between 20-40 percent more knowing the ride is to an airport or event and if it's originating in the suburbs. I drove for them awhile back, my Uncle still does over 60 hours a week for them and has sent me plenty of screen shots showing exactly how it works. Maybe people outside the 128 belt have gone to Lyft because of the pricing change, Lyft is not innocent in all this but seems they have been less aggressive than Uber with the pricing. Uber had their drivers sign an addendum stating that they no longer get 75 percent of the fare, they get paid the per mile/minute rate and Uber is going to charge what the customer will pay. I wrote all that out to save people a few bucks and not mislead them. Honestly the best way to do it is make sure you download both apps and compare the prices and if you find it the price acceptable to you then take the ride. You would need to be in a market that has "upfront pricing" to experience this. I'm not sure how wide spread that is, but I know it's in major cities. Here is a spot to start your research, i don't have the time to put into this just giving a heads up http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-uber-drivers-lawsuit-20170429-story,amp.html And here is the route based pricing which I gave the loophole for https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-05-19/uber-s-future-may-rely-on-predicting-how-much-you-re-willing-to-pay

I like it. That would certainly increase Tyrion's chance of ending up in the ground before all is said and done. That would be tough to see.

Is tonight game on locL buffalo TV
CommonCents replied to bills_fan_in_raleigh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Plenty of streams were out there last year, not the greatest quality but I suppose if you need your fix that will suffice. I'm going to wait for the replays this year and not mess with it. I like how NFL network shows all the games it's a decent way to see who is in shape heading into fantasy. KB looked better last night than he has in awhile. -
Super Bowl LII: Patriots or the field?
CommonCents replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah Raiders are a fun team but I don't want to see JDR coaching against BB. Almost a lock in the AFC is why I would take them over the field. I wouldn't make that bet though because I would rather have less money and cheer against them. -
Pre-season Wk 1 - What are you looking for?
CommonCents replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm looking at the Linebackers, I know preseason is watered down but I want to see how they control the middle. I'm most interested in the younger guys like Milano/Vallejo because I know nothing about them. On the purple side I will be watching Dalvin Cook, he was my favorite RB in the draft.
