Good stuff. I looked up a bunch of stuff from this series last night. All three games in Boston have gone over. A huge discrepancy in penalties called in Boston vs. in Toronto. Will they swallow the whistle in game 7? Sure that is possible. Even if they do Rask is horrible in 7’s and IIRC Anderson was also under .900. Two choking pigs playing a must win, I can’t see this playing out as a clean 2-1 type of game.

FWIW that’s how I felt when they drafted EJ. I had watched a ton of him at FSU and knew of his flaws. I don’t see anything that glaring with Allen. EJ would be thinking mid throw on how to release it, float it, rip it, etc. Allen throws instinctually, much more so than an EJ or Bortles. Early combine reports from Breer had Allen being dumb as a rock. I had Allen as a do not touch after hearing that. Once his wonderlic was leaked I softened my stance and will trust what the Bills saw during the interview process. Maybe that’s just my love for the team softening the blow so I’m not feeling the same way you are? Maybe I’m seeing something different after spending some time watching him once I gave him actual consideration.

Marchand and Pasta are due. They will be flying around tonight. I have no idea who will win, I don’t trust Rask. He hasn’t seen the puck well the past few games he got lucky a few of them hit him directly in the pads. The Bruins D scares no one, Babcock has them taking advantage of Krug every time he is in the ice. Closer to 9 goals scored tonight than 6.

I understand. Beane showed his hand by sitting patiently in FA and then trading away Taylor. He has to be prepared to overpay. As long as they get their guy I’m not worried about the price. I wouldn’t feel any different if it’s Allen at 5 than if it’s Rosen/Mayfield. It’s Beane’s guy and each of them has enough talent that I could get behind the decision.

Does this have anything to do with Gronk the horse not running in the Derby? I think it does.

Blake Bortles much like EJ actually has to process how to make each throw. It’s painful to watch. I see nothing like that from Allen. I have watched a fair amount of him the past 3 days and I don’t see why everyone hates this kid. The way he throws outside the pocket is much more Big Ben than Bortles, he also moves much better than Ben ever did.

Do they make the final call on a quarterback too? As you have said soooo many times, we don’t know. How would you feel if they pushed Beane away from a Rosen or Mayfield for non football reasons? We don’t know that do we? What we do know is they haven’t taken a step back after screwing up every hire they made when they became owners. The main reason I hated Whaley is because he was spineless and just went with the flow. I’m under the impression Beane is different. If things go sour and we are again hearing about Terry and Kim’s involvement I will be seriously disappointed as a fan. That’s all. I didn’t accuse anyone of lying. If you screw up making decisions that you are paying someone else to make then stop making decisions!

Look at Beane’s quote. That insinuates that they have a say, does it not? Where did I or anyone else insinuate the Pegula’s are running the draft? Honest conversation is good conversation, exaggerating in an attempt to prove a point is wife material.
