Roseanne Show cancelled by ABC after racist tweet
CommonCents replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Does someone really need to explain to you why that is a bad example? -
I didn’t buy into the 6ers hype and this certainly won’t help them going forward. Simmons can’t shoot, Fultz can’t even beat out TJ McConnell? It’s Embiid and some Euros, no thanks.

Anything from your childhood you still keep in your room?

I have a Mountie piggie bank that has made it with me through the years. It’s only about half a foot tall and I don’t ever remembering putting money in it, not sure why or how this guy has made the journey. -
Jason McIntyre saying that the Lakers could trade Ball in the next few weeks.

I just don’t see it. In games 1, 3, and 5 he had a total of 2 points in the 4th quarter against the Celtics. That’s not the goat sorry. In the 2018 playoffs his primary defenders have been Bogdanovic, Anunoby, Morris. The best player he faced was who? Tatum? Victor? That’s a nice smooth ride into the finals.

It’s a totally different era of hoops, the east is a joke. You mention Love’s absence but not Kyrie and Hayward. A bad Pacers team in 7 games, the sweep of a soft Raptors team, then a win over the short handed Celtics. The best player on an opposing team may have been Victor Oladipo, I’m not sure this is some great feat. FWIW the Cavs were better without Love in plus/minus before his injury. Love is one of the most overrated players in the NBA.

The good: the injuries allowed Tatum and Brown to accelerate their development. The bad: Hearing LeBroners talk like this was some great accomplishment. In betting circles it was almost 3/1 that the Cavs would win this series. GO GS. LeBron is not Jordan and the Lakers still suck.

Everyone has their own style, what you did was crafty and well deserved. I would have handled it more directly. Challenged his commitment and made him prove it or quit. I’d rather coach kids that want to play and learn than have a kid make a joke of my own effort and his “teammates”. Lots of respect for the coach, the stupid things you guys have to deal with now is insane. I blame the parents, it starts at home. I have a good friend who also coached the girls LAX and field hockey teams. She gave up on LAX because of similar issues with multiple players and the parents would actually would call/email backing up their childs excuses and demand they play in the next game.

Took Celts -20 for +6500 a good chance LeBron goes nuts and Cavs win outright but there is a slight chance of towel on the head pouty LeBron. Cavs are tired, Celts come out strong. Let’s GO!!!!

I was hoping someone else would complain about Kobe Detail before I did. How annoying is that? Yah young guys should push the ball and make old guys get back on defense. Mind altering stuff.

He plays in the East, it’s full of scrubs. If Hayward and Kyrie were playing this series would have been a sweep. A scrub Pacers team took him 7 and now he is losing to a group of kids and Al Horford. I get it, he is a good player but he isn’t Jordan. Jordan was a killer out there. He sets up story lines, reading a book on the sideline, huffing and puffing after 5 minutes of game time last game. Now Super LeBron will show up and destroy the Celts back at home.
