  1. The new decade doesn't start until 2011. There was no year 0.
  2. Blocked FG, Bills pick it up, lateraled once, I think Reggie Corner had it, threw it back to George Wilson who ran it in for a TD. Ref said Corner had his knee down before he threw it.
  3. When we went to the Dolphins game this year a guy walked up to me (I'm on the aisle) and goes "Hey... I don't know where I am... I'm just going to sit here" He sat two seats down from my wife which were empty and proceeded to fall asleep in the 2nd quarter, with everyone around him yelling. He was blasted out of his mind, wearing carhartts and stuff. I drive over from MI so it isn't cheap for me to go see a game, and it just makes me sad that people don't appreciate it as much as I do.
  4. Honestly if Cinci wants him go ahead. I think next time our athletic department will do more to keep a good coach.
  5. Wow... http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/5933/kawika.png
  6. We stopped at Toronto on the way to Buffalo last weekend. I couldn't get over how ****ty that town smells. How can the Canadians be all smug and urbanite when their city smells like poop
  7. I have a mutt. I've never had a non-shelter / rescue animal. They said she is an Australian Shepherd mix. She is a really weird looking dog: http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/4904/15...15118217048.jpg http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/2595/69...18282170481.jpg Her name is Wilma.
  8. I read the whole article. Parity doesn't mean that every team always has to be good. Obviously team management and coaching are a huge part of that. Again, the CARDINALS made the Super Bowl last year, the Dolphins went from 1-15 to Division winners, etc etc etc. So many examples. Just because there are bad teams doesn't mean parity is dead.
  9. How in the hell can you say parity is dead when the Cardinals went to the Super Bowl last year and almost beat the Steelers, the Titans went 14-2 with Kerry Collins at the helm (and now winless this year), the Dolphins went from 1-15 to 10-5 (and now back to losing). Denver is winning with Kyle Orton and a first year head coach in a season when everyone said they'd lose and SD would run away with the division. Cincinnati is doing awesome despite all their setbacks.
  10. Yeah, Pace should definitely be receiving a fine for that cheap shot. He was clearly down and then bent him backwards over another player and drove his helmet into the ground.
  11. It is only $30. That is pretty disposable for one season.
  12. @New England - L Tampa - W Saints - L @Miami - W Cleveland - W @ Jets - W @ Panthers - W Houston - W I'd say 6-2 would be great. More like 5-3 probably though. 5-3 would be awesome.
  13. Thanks, we were so busy shopping and getting radio signs etc that we couldn't stop by. Sorry for the bad luck Bills fans, appears since we were there the Bills went and lost I did think the tailgate was really really impressive. Biggest tailgate I've ever seen. I saw a drunk dude faceplant down the upper deck stairs near me. All in all one of my best experiences ever, but we can't go for season tickets anytime soon. That drive through Canada is ROUGH. I didn't take cruise control off for 3 hours last night. If we had broken down on the 402 or 401 I think we would've been screwed.
  14. We're here! We went to Anchor Bar tonight and had wings, pretty awesome. We went to the Albright gallery, awesome stuff! They were showing The Birds tonight for free, one of my favorite movies. Going to hit a few places tomorrow and then of course there is GAME DAY! Is there a TBD tailgate area? edit: also holy crap the drive through Canada is freakin' boring.
  15. Also, and this sounds really newbie and dumb etc, but do players do autographs before / after the game? Any special place to be?
  16. Oh yeah I will definitely bring Birth Cert as we have to drive through Canadia (live in MI). I gotta get a damn passport. Thanks for all the suggestions. I don't think we'll be looking to break the bank but I'll check out all your suggestions when she makes me make up a 'plan'.
  17. My fiancee and I will be going up to Buffalo for the game against the Jets on Nov 2, and I'm interested to get out and look at things in Buffalo. I realize it is probably like any other midwest city (I live in Lansing, MI) but there are probably some nice interesting restaurants etc. If I can't find enough to do in Buffalo she's going to bug me to go to Toronto, bleh. I would like to see Niagara Falls again (haven't been in forever, I was born in Buffalo but we didn't live there long). The Maid of the Mist probably is shut down for the year since it'll be so cold, right? Of course I'll want to go to the Ralph early to get tons of photos etc since I've never been. Probably go see Old Fort Niagara. We'll be there Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday, any suggestions? Also where should I go to get info about tailgating for TBD?
  18. I sent him this comment: Bill, Your comparing of the Sonics to the Bills is pretty sad. You say the Sonics were '79 NBA champs. The Bills and Ralph Wilson helped start the AFL, and won two AFL championships before they joined the NFL (64, 65). The Bills went to the Super Bowl 4 times in the early 90's. They constantly sell out tickets while more successful teams (San Diego, Jax) can't sell out their HOME OPENERS. Most of the financial whining is just that - whining. Ralph Wilson wants to make tons of money when he is doing fine. If the Bills make the playoffs this year it'll stave off the move talk, and if they get far it'll stave it off for a long time. Green Bay supports a team in a very small area. The difference is they have had success for a good while, while the Bills haven't made the playoffs in a while. Michael Unfortunately in my haste I forgot to mention the late Tim Russert
