  1. I laughed really hard when i saw this on espnhd
  2. Ah, I'm actually bidding on some in section 130. If they pan out I'll let you know. Otherwise I might have to get some from ticketmaster like you said. When did you actually purchase them ?
  3. Oh wow, i didn't even realize the lions sold out tickets. I was planning to go to the game too, I'll have to purchase some somewhere. I didn't think they'd sellout, heh.
  4. I asked myself this morning. Only thing I can think of is that they are inter-division rival and we don't want to help them.
  5. Man, I can't believe it. I get a job in mich and have to leave raleigh just before this game. Only condolence is my gf just bought tix on ebay for aug31 preseason game vs detroit - nice tix on Buffalo sideline. I will see the reg season game too.
  6. I can't really see us being worse than Detroit
  7. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2530265 The Raiders want two no. 1's. Hmm. If they wanted less I'd say he'd be a good candidate for our Bills... He could workout with Willis !
  8. Lions are going to be in a world of hurt now. Harrington was given a bad rap.
  9. Honestly, the entire lions offensive line is terrible. Joey takes a 3 step drop and gets flattened. The only difference was a few times garcia was able to make a play where joey couldn't. If any team blitzed, play over. The line could not pick up the blitz, at all.
  10. I have to watch every lions game - i live in michigan. The problems are not with harrington. Charles Rogers has constantly been injured / high, Mike Williams is underperforming, (Roy is the only one decent right now). The main problem was Mariucci. His offensive playcalling was terrible. We call it the "screen pass / fake punt / draw offense".
  11. 1. X-files 2. Maury (lunchtime drama!) 3. Law and Order (vanilla) 4. Sportscenter 5. NFL live I really don't watch any weekly shows...
  12. 5. Born to Run - The Boss 4. Freebird - Skynard 3. Mo' Money Mo' Problems - Notorious B.I.G. 2. Hip to be Square - Huey Lewis and the News 1. Third Eye - Tool Its really hard to name my top 5 songs. These are just ones I can think of right now.
  13. The only good thing - At least cin/cle isn't on.
  14. So i live in middle michigan, and we have on tv now: Pitt/tenn chi/wash minn/tb then at 4: det/gb Ugly games
  15. Anyone think that if T.O. came back and played really well for another 5 years he could ever make the HOF ? Barry Sanders quit his team and still made it, but he was one of if not the best of all time. (Most people in Michigan still even like him, I can't forgive him for quitting). So, anyone think that with his current antics and antics in the past T.O. Could make the hall of the (in) famous ?
  16. Kwame's mayoral car is an escalade i believe. He's proven time and again he has no idea how to run a city, they really need a guy in there that can do something good- especially with losing jobs, white flight, etc. It's just ridiculous.
  17. Hey, better than emo music, razorblades, and fat pants
  18. Need to refocus children on sports and athletic activity if they are doing this stupid stuff.
  19. Patrick Bateman: Do you like Huey Lewis and the news? Paul Allen: They're OK. Patrick Bateman: Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83,I think they really came into their own, commercial and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consimante professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humour. Paul Allen: Hey Halberstram. Patrick Bateman: Yes, Allen? Paul Allen: Why are their copies of the style section all over the place, d-do you have a dog? A little chow or something? Patrick Bateman: No, Allen. Paul Allen: Is that a rain coat? Patrick Bateman: Yes it is! In '87, Huey released this, Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself. [raises axe above head] Patrick Bateman: Hey Paul! [he bashes Allen in the head with the axe, and blood splatters over him] Patrick Bateman: TRY GETTING A RESERVATION AT DORSIA NOW YOU ...
