Weather is the Bills kryptonite....
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
...and so it goes on and on and on and on. -
not to be technical but that wasn't "Joe Cool" s last game but he damn sure was knocked in to the next week by the trio of smith, hansen and wright. he would start 14 games in the '94 season and helped to lead the chiefs to a 9-7 record and his final postseason appearance where they lost to dan marino and the fins 27-17. I think making such a big deal about montana as the media did it pissed off the defense and they made sure to remind them "Joe who"?

Mahomes concussion updates
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to ColoradoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
right. bruce, wright and hanson. the three of them knocked him out of the game. it wasn't career ending, he did play in 1994, his final season. -
Mahomes concussion updates

regardless of talent. too many hits like that and today will end a career, even life. ironic that two of the top afc Qbs were taken out of a playoff game due to concussion. just shows how violent. Joe Montana's career ended by a concussion in a playoff game back in 1993. -
Lamar Jackson's Charity
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to Dr Krentist's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jackson would eventually be ruled out of action with a concussion. Following the injury, the Bills Mafia wanted to do something for the Ravens’ quarterback. As they have done many times in the past, the fan base went the donation route. One fan on Reddit found that Jackson’s favorite charity was Blessings in a Backpack. He posted his donation and it has since taken off with many other fans sending money to the cause. Bills fans raise money for Lamar Jackson’s favorite charity after Ravens QB exits with injury -
The End of the Lamar Jackson Era

not the first time the bills have knocked a QB out of a postseason game. see the "Joe who" afcc game, 1993. -
might be chilly. weather could have equal (bad) effect for both teams. it will come down to stopping the run and avoiding/creating turnovers. weather is and has always been a factor in buffalo, especially in January. it has been to buffalos advantage in the past and with JA's arm strength to make some throws, could prove to be an advantage again. just depends on how the wind and precipitation affects the throws/catches? for both teams. my feeling is so far with 14 (15 minus HM) wins and all of them battle of their own, weather should not be the determining factor on winning or losing. it will be how you adjust as a team to it and prioritize stopping the run and disrupting Jackson by getting to him (sacks) and/or containing (pressuring him in to bad throws) him in the pocket.

Fights in the stands during Wild Card Game? WTF?

cooped up too long this past year. -
you can throw all the stats, bad weather, where they're playing and what they did this past season out. both teams are 1-0 in the postseason. it's going to be a dog fight with both teams playing hard for what's on the line. win, on to the afc championship. lose, prepare for the off season. I want to believe the bills will edge this one out. it's the playoffs so it comes down to who makes the best plays and can create opportunities in all 3 phases. 60 more minutes of a chance to advance. if they don't win I will still be as proud of how the team went through the 2020/21 season and making it to the divisional round. 14-3 so far, total wins. need 3 more. 17 has been a magic number for buffalo, which is still achievable. reaching that would mean they'll hoist the lombardi...GO BILLS!!
