Hello, how are you?
Have you been alright through all those lonely
Lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely nights?
That's what I'd say, I'd tell you everything
If you pick up that telephone,
Like you, initially I had no issue with the play call, I thought it was kind of clever especially the Lamar misdirection.
But you summed it up perfectly. And yeah, it was bush league.
Would have been a really tough call. On one hand you're relying a good deal on an OT coin flip. On the other hand you're relying on a 2 pt conversion which is also pretty much a coin flip - except that since you already made a 2 pt conversion your odds have decreased. I still think I'd go for the win. Seize the day
You've been to far more games at far more stadiums than me and I appreciate the perspective.
For the games/stadiums I've been to (mostly the Meadowlands) I agree that taking younger kids to a game is something to think twice about. But are the Buffalo fans that abusive to opposing fans to rank them among the worst?
Eddie Robinson. I was at the Meadowlands sitting high up in the end zone and had the best/worst view of the play. The memory still haunts me. As you said, Chad freaking Pennington.
The history of the NFL is for teams to try to stay in the game for as long as possible. Good optics for the fans.
That's changed in recent years with teams sometimes willing to risk winning/losing on an end of game 2 point conversion instead of kicking the extra point and hoping for the best in OT.
I get that you wanted to keep the dream of winning alive by deferring the two point conversion, but whether it was with seven minutes or seven seconds left in the game they had to make it. Waiting for seven seconds left would not have increased the Bills chance of winning.
I ride on the bus into the city every day
I sit on my seat and I dream myself away
I dream I'm on an island with that foxy lady too
But when I awaken, I must be mistaken, I'm on Third Avenue
Sounded like another reactionary post to a loss to me, particularly given the timing. I see a lot of that BS here.
What constitutes the next level to you? Had we won today would that have been a next step?
9-4. Playoff fate in our own hands. Outside chance of taking the division. And you're focused on the draft.
Was that your focus prior to kickoff today?
Does this mean that you've given up on the season?
There was a borderline late shove out of bounds on Mahomes today that wasn't called. Brady gets that call every time.
The next time I give a %$#@ about a bad call against the Pats will also be the first.
I like beer, it makes me a jolly good fellow
I like beer, it helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow (Makes him feel mellow)
Whiskey's too rough, Champagne costs too much, vodka puts my mouth in gear
This little refrain should help me explain as a matter of fact I like beer
