The Chiefs Have Real Problems

Good examples. Still doesnt change the fact he won 10 strait to get there. Also took the Eagles to the NFC championship rite? Or was that a SuperBowl? I think both. -

At 10-6 Id be counting on the Ravens or Steelers to fall apart The fact they almost always win the close ones is what separates them from teams like us. Last year they lost JCharles for the season at 1-5 remember that? That 'king of mediocrity" team ran the table into the playoffs. 10 strait wins. Thats good coaching and execution in crucial game times. I dont see them losing out this year but, I can see the Bills sneaking in the WC at 10-6 -
We are top 10 in points scored since start of 2015.

That is a crazy stat with KC. I think our offense is over-achieving for what its designed to be. I think people forget we are supposed to be a pound the rock play stout defense type of team. We got lucky with Tyrod, he opened up a new way to run this offense and its exciting to watch. We are a boom or bust team but when our offense is working, we look like a top 10 team. People take Tyrod for granted but I shudder to think how we would look with EJ under center for the last 2 seasons, we would have better draft picks but the games would be a snore to get through. Putting up 25 is usually a recipe for the win but the defense doesnt always pull its weight. We got lucky last week, defense won us that game as the offense struggled a bit. I can tell you this, our offense has won more games for us the past 2 seasons than our defense has, and thats not how this team was built. -
That sucks man. I feel for the breh. I really hope he gets his **** together. Hes a good player when in shape and on the rite mental track.

Thank god Mike Nugent is crappier than Tyrod

Right. Thats the thing with Tyrod, With the current crop of QBs out he is definite a starter. I think hes more expensive then some of the other caretakers because he still has upside. With 2 seasons as a starter there is a good possibility he will get better next season as well, whereas with the Cutlers and Romos of the league, you know how good they are and its downhill from there. Tyrod can still progress and develop consistency. He has the arm strength and athletic ability, just needs to sharpen up his accuracy and reading the defense. I think thats what the FO sees in him. Potential. Not that much potential in an end of the road Cutler. -

Agree. On the off chance the wheels fall off and we go 6-10 and Tyrod doesnt get picked up here, he will start somewhere else, the league is too QB hungry and there arent enough good ones anymore. -
Those things rule. Our WC chances are in our own control for now. Win out and get in. go 5-1 (L to either Pitt or Oak) and get in as long as Ravens and Broncos lose out.

Week 12 predictions: Jaguars at Bills
Marty McFly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills are gonna roll. Bills 31- Jags 16 Bills Force a fumble to go up by 2 TDs early. Bortles throws 2 INT trying to come back. -

I didnt realize that. I dont think EJ or Cardale will be ready to start next year either tbh. I know some people here are going to explode when they pick up his option if we do anything less than 10-6 -
Ive been using the NFL simulator and we get in on almost every 10-6 scenario as long as our loss comes at the hands of Oak or Pitt. So anyway you slice it the Bills control their own destiny. The Ravens, AFCW and Dolphins individual records will impact the Bills chances the most.
-
Its possible and if Watkins is 100% healthy its likely we go 5-1. If we go 10-6 and miss the playoffs people will still complain. Probably even more cuz of the draft spot and the harder schedule next year, like what happened to the Jets.

This thread is all for naught. The Bills are gonna take on the TT option. Im calling it rite now. I just saw the breakdown. They structured that contract to where TT gets around 12M a year and if we cut him the dead cap space is 3M or under. Therefor we keep Tyrod on a relatively cheap QB contract (compared to other teams starting QBs) while we draft and develop a better one. The credit here goes to daveau2324 who looked this up on sports tac -
Maybe the problem isnt that were developing late round project QBs, maybe its who is developing our QBs

I really like our offense sometimes. The fact we run so many options and do it well is encouraging. I wish we had more passing games like we did on MNF. That version of the Bills with a healthy Watkins, Woods, Shady and Harvin is the most entertaining offense in the AFC. Im out of town so when im done streaming the Bills I watch a lot of the other games and some teams are a !@#$ing snore to watch. When we are healthy and clicking we have an exciting offense. Right up there with Dallas, Pitt, and Oak in terms of entertainment alone. I couldnt say that about a Bills offense since we had Peerless Price and Eric Moulds. EDIT: I 4got were talking bout QB coaches. How do you get fired then rehired without success anywhere? -

2 words: member berries..... After a contract re-negotiation I see Tyrod being our un-questioned starter next season. If Bills move on I bet Tyrod starts for another team. I wonder how they decide to move on from a QB coach. is it like 4 QB draft busts and your gone? or an EJ Manuel and a half and you gotta go? Whats the accountability and standards there -

Carr is dirty. He also has 2 reliable established #1 & #2 WRs in Amari and Crabtree. Thats gonna be a fun game to watch. Tyrod vs Wilson was good. Tyrod vs Carr should be a good one to watch 2. Imagine we took Dak instead of Adolphus?! IDK though. Dallas has 3 former QBs as coaches that have been coaching the rookie up. I wonder if we couldnt develop EJ properly then how can we develop the next QB prospect we bring in? -
Missed XPs are Impacting Games and the NFL Likes It
Marty McFly replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have to watch Carp kick the XP, I cant take it for granted anymore. Blame the BBFS Blowouts suck but I wouldnt change the point system now, you already got safetys, 2 point conversions, and returning 2 pointers for an extra 2 points as wild cards. NFL needs to let the players have their end zone shenanigans and let the game be fun and entertaining again. There were so many blow outs and ****ty games they scheduled on MNF that most casuals actually missed the best MNF game of the season when we played the hawks. -
Really? I dont think EJ is gonna wanna hang around to hold the clipboard, I think hes gonna go out somewhere and compete for a starting job like Tyrod did. Im not against keeping EJ as a back up either. Should keep Clay hes a weapon when he is used properly. Could see us drafting a RT and/or a C after we pick up a WR, CB, S. Henderson bounced on his own. Said dont wait up. The drop off at DB was crazy. Seymore made a few plays last game though. I would re-sign Tyrod with an amended contract if possible. Gillislee starts the MIA game and we mighta left wit a W Should be drafting a S in the 1st 3 rounds for of AWill Clay is good when they get him going early in the game. Hes gotta make that TD grab tho. Lorax, ZB, & Felton prob all get re-signed. I think Tate is getting better too.

IDK what happened to him vs the Bengals but he was off. His stat line wasnt bad, especially if Clay makes that grab for the TD. I honestly think Tyrod is gonna continue to improve and eventually be able to deliver consistent games like he did vs SEA. Its his 2nd year starting, so defenses have taken away his strength (deep ball) and hes learning to move the chains and scoreboard without it. New OC still figuring the OC game out and all this while hes having to get timing down with 9 diff WRs and 2 TEs. Whether its in a Bills uniform or not is unknown but I bet any amount of $$$ if Buffalo lets Tyrod walk, hes gonna start for another team next season. -
Harvin is going to re-retire, callin it now
Marty McFly replied to D521646's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope Harvin can make a difference this season. Better hit the books Percy. Tyrod targeted Harvin a lot last season before week 5. Either way if Watkins comes back 100% we should be in good shape, Tate is playing well too. (getting better) Im starting to think hes over throwing to make sure only the WRs can get to it bc he doesnt trust them to fight for the ball like Watkins. Example on that INT. Bad decision but AJ Green, Antonio Brown, or Dez Bryant would go up and fight for the ball or knock it out in that case. This is what were missing with Sammy out and no Woods. Goodwin is learning WR stuff he shoulda learned 2 years ago but couldnt stay on the field so I cant expect that much out of him
