Stats dont tell the whole story, based on accuracy you would have to say Tyrod is more accurate then Aaron Rodgers, which the stats currently display if you look them up...go ahead take a look ill wait Therefore I wouldnt use accuracy alone out of context to label one as efficient or not

Comparing Tyrods stats in context vs some of the QBs you guys ball wash makes me believe in him even more. This is why stats never tell the whole story. Sure Gabberts and Tyrods stats are kinda similar but the results are much different. At the end of the day thats what matters, the results.

People act like EJ or Cardale gonna play leaps and bounds better then Tyrod, I jus dont see that happenin. Franchise QBs dont appear out of nowhere. The best QB from this draft was taken in the 4th and his owner didnt even want him! So the whole "you need a pick in the top 5" to find one is not fully on point.

Agree. Im gonna say its obvious Shady is our best Offensive player, with someone on the O Line coming in 2nd. This. Those NE, PIT, CIN and OAK games will determine if we can sneak into a WC. We need all the heavy hitters healthy and on deck.

Thats not a fair assessment because he was never truly being developed he was the scout team QB for the Ravens, meaning he had to emulate the QBs they were facing each week, thats no way to develop your own style. The scatter shot QB we saw last pre-season when Tyrod won the job compared to the guy that played vs the Pats and Cards are two different QBs, There is progression there and it will continue, hopefully the FO shows more patience then the fans do and renegotiate a more team friendly contract to keep Tyrod while we draft and develop a better one. Getting rid of him without a back up plan is exactly what led to the Kevin Kolb mat smackdown incident. So yes Tyrod is in his 2nd year, theres a big difference between being a scout team practice QB and a starter when real bullets are flying. I hate to admit but that might be true. I really think he needs a 6 week camp on how to tackle properly without injuring himself tho. What pisses everyone off is that he is gonna get payed much more than hes worth because teams are CB starved and in this age you need 3 solid starting CBs

agree For all the hate Whaley and Rex get, they did build one hell of an Offensive and Defensive Line in 2015/2016 making solid starters out of underdog guys and players people call "bargain bin veterans" one who just happens to lead the league in sacks and another LB that won DPOW for the Pats* game. This is horrible. Anemic offense losing their only Star WR......Lynn&co, Tyrod &co, and Shady been doing a great job making up for his absence. A lot of us thought the season was over when it was revealed the Bills med staff !@#$ed up AGAIN but, I really like how our team has stepped up and played the 'damn the torpedoes' card. SFs Oline is bi-polar tho, they can run block but their pass blocking is HORRENDOUS. I was watching the SF game vs Cards and they always had pressure on them within 2-3 seconds, Gabberts running for his life the whole game. I think we have a better D-Line then ARZ just hoping they start Gabbert on us, its a trap game. Also Kerley is the only WR for them making plays. Celek the TE is good too but not being used right. Nice Khaled reference! I just hope Kap dont come in with a spark cuz of all the adversity, Im hoping we get Gabbert, who has a knack for throwing picks, BUT inside sources say Chip Kelly will INDEED start Kapernick, so this game just got a little harder. Really gonna need that guy to get on the field at some point this season. Any updates on Sammy?

MAJbro - If we renegotiate Tyrods contract into something middle of the road, are you down to roll wit him till we draft, trade for, or develop a better QB? Cuz rite now Tyrods our best option with a lot of upside, gotta remember hes in his 2nd year as a starter, hasnt seen enough game time to close the book on him, and for a 2nd year guy hes doing quite well, better than Mariota, Tanney, Cutler, oswieller, and Winston. *For the record I think Winston is gonna be a certified baller in another year or two

Great points. The right side is much improved. Miller was a rookie last year not enough people realize rookies arent usually world beaters off the bat they need time to adjust to the NFL strength and speed. Thats a really underrated part of his game we overlook wayyy to often. The way the defense and run game is playing now, TT just has to manage the game, extend drives, and make some plays with his legs and arm for us to win. He doesnt need to be Aaron Rodgers back there. If we keep getting him in the rhythm with the short passing game like we did vs the Pats and Cards hes gonna develop into what most on here are crying for.
