  1. Sounds good, but $17 is pretty steep.....Will look for it here around town...
  2. I agree with you. Either Baas or Patterson. We need help on the offensive side more than the defense, so i would lean toward Baas. Especially if I thought that Edwards and the Anderson could fill PW's shoes at DT.
  3. If you, and the other ladies here want to ogle young men, feel free to post a link like the guys do of women. It doesn't mean we have to look at your young men though...
  4. I am looking forward to this show. I wonder if it will be a "UFO's are real" or "UFO's are for losers" type show?
  5. We lived in the Country, and when they finally got around to our road, the drifts they made were like 25' high. I remember throwing snowballs DOWN on top of the buses and semi's as they drove bye...I had like 2 weeks off school, what a blast. Until I realized I had to attend school until june whatever to make up snow days
  6. Ahh. My bad. I misunderstood your comments.
  7. That was a good exchange. Thanks guys for making laugh out loud. Drooling pike and dikcface. That is some funny shiite.
  8. Thats true, all of it. A little over a year ago, one of the two major pipelines bringing in Gasoline to Phoenix ruptured, and had to be shut down. Gas prices skyrocketed to as high as 4.50 a gallon and averaged about 2.50 a gallon from around 1.50. Gas lines were 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile long, and most stations were out of gas more than they had gas. This lasted for about 2 weeks. Prices have never been below 1.75 since... Last July 4th, in the space of 2 weeks, there were 3 huge transformer fires, knocking out power to 10's of thousands. (temps in low 110's with no AC is :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: , so i went golfing ) There was some talk about Terrorism, and I personally saw about 6 Homeland security vans near one of the fires on the local news and on the roads near my house. Final verdict was not terrorism, but was still scary. And in the last two months there was a Natural gasline rupture, (not a supply line for the city, just a local line for a neighborhood, but still left thousands without Gas) and the phoenix water was ruled unsafe to drink because of "sediment". With all the rain we have had, the runoff overwhelmed the water treatment facility because one of the plants was shut down at the time for maintenance. Both the gasline and the water supply were fixed in a couple days... The local talk radio guys were having a field day discussing all the bad luck we have had recently.... But all things considered, it isn't too bad for a guy who survived 10 days snowed in a mobile home during the Blizzard of '77 in Albion....
  9. I never saw, or heard or felt Jesus Christ, But I believe in him. It's called Faith. I know people lie, and maybe it was just another nut job who killed his family. But what if it wasn't? that is what is scary. Considering the Possibilty that it is true is OK. Dont believe everything, and dont dis-believe everything either. Keep an open mind my friend....
  10. Nothing too serious here in Phoenix. We have had LOTS of rain in the last two months though, and even 2 funnel clouds. (tornadoes of unheard of here in Phoenix, and I have been here for 27 years) Its not "The Day After Tomorrow" yet, and I stress YET....
  11. Didnt watch the link, but saw it when it happened. truly the most frightening thing I have seen during a game. God bless Clint and the fast thinking trainers who saved his life.
  12. Nice job Fez gathering those stats. But a Bledsoe basher can easily explain them away. If the opposing defenses are not afraid of the QB and the passing game, then they can run blitz more often, thus accounting for the run game numbers you mentioned....
  13. Sue, I appreciate you loyalty to the Bills and to Drew, But why be down on JP when he has'nt played a game for the Bills? Using that logic, I guess our Draft class of '05 is going to filled with losers as well. At least give JP the same 3 years the team gave Drew, and a whole list of other player to succeed or fail....
  14. You know how much the guy follows the Bills when he follows that winner up with the one about Rookie receiver "Josh Reed" starting to fill up the Stat sheet. Reed hasn't filled ANYTHING up that I know of. JP, Evans, and McGahee hopefully the next Kelly, Reed, Thomas
  15. Hey! Open the Door, man. It's Dave. Dave? Dave's not here.
  16. Will these receivers you mention handle video portion as well? My DirecTivo installer was talking about new Surround receivers that do Audio and Visual, routing from Tivo to dvd to receiver to TV. I need to get one, as my old surround Stereo system just doesnt cut it...
  17. Born In Albion in 1965, and grew up watching OJ tear up the league. i remember when he had the 2003 yds in '73 quite well. I checked his book out of the Library and was quite taken with the game of football. i wanted him to pass Jim Brown's record and be the NFL's all time best RB...Alas, how his life has turned.... I too luved the Bills when they were 2-14. The 2 wins were Dallas and Miami I think. I thought it was a good year I cried 4 years in a row, same as everyone else
  18. That book is getting eerily close to reality i think.
  19. I took some heat here recently with my remarks about TO, and my desire to see him choke in the SB. Well, I am here to say that he played a GREAT game. I have to hand it to a guy who nuts up and plays with 2 screws in his leg, against Dr's orders. He did everything he could to help the team win, and thats ALL i or anyone else can hope for from a member of the Bills. Congrats TO! Now flame away at me... Zona
  20. My son just turned 13, and my daughter will be 12 in May, and I still dont let them go ALONE to places like the Mall or movies. They can go places together, like the neighborhood park or a friends house. Now, my kids are a little sheltered and i acknowledge being overprotective, but I feel its my duty to be that way. They can hate me all they want to when they are 16, as long as I can get them to 17 as safely as I can. My daughter does not have any piercings (including her ears). She does not wear make-up. She does not wear any clothing we do not approve of. I am lucky though, in that, she doen't like her belly hanging out. So hopefully she wont dress in the latest style. There will be plenty of time for her to be a "woman", right now, and for as long as I can help it, she IS a little girl... BTW- Both my kids have taken Jujitsu and Karate. They studied with a former student of Hoyce Gracie (SIC). They know the basics of self defense, and my wife and I have told them to fight for thier life if ever assaulted, because it probably will be. And on a side note, we have several friends here in Phx whose kids are slightly older and finishing high school. Every one of these friends tells us their HS. stories from their kids. For example. At some schools the GIRLS are having competitions to see who can give the most Oral to the most guys in a school year. (I have heard this from 3 different couples that dont know each other, with kids in seperate schools, so I believe it) Girls as young as frosh and soph as well. The kids consider Oral as "second base". That BTW is 13-15 age group. And that scares the hell out of me. Yeah, i dont mind being an overprotective jerk. She can hate me all she wants to, but i will try and keep her from this kind of behavior as long as I can....
  21. If you read my post, I said he underachieved in "big" games. ie- playoffs. Not regular season games. Now since Clements22 has kindly posted TO's stellar Postseason numbers for us to look at, lets do so. He has 1 great game, 1 good game, and 6 games where he avg. 4 catches for 46 yards. and overall postseason avg just under 5 catches and 69 yds per game. Do you guys really think those are good numbers? If TO is supposed to be a "superstar", he needs to have better than 5 catches for 69 yards a game. Are those the stats of a guy who is supposed to be the best in the league? PLEASE! OH btw Clements22, I never said he was the biggest choker ever, I said before his catch, he had fumbled and choked and dropped his way to a choke label. I just want to know which is the REAL TO. Like I said in my original post. Is TO the guy who is gonna choke? or is he the guy who makes a great catch to win the game?
  22. I want to see TO make an ass out of himself. Maybe 2-3 fumbles and a few Alligator arm type plays. This guy is the biggest UNDERACHIEVER in big games I think I have ever seen. The Playoff game against GB where he did catch the huge TD pass at the end, and all the camera's are on him as he cries "joyfully" make me laugh. The guy was a first rate BUM that day, who happened to make a play. It was a great catch, i will give him that. But he had fumbled and choked, and dropped his way to a stellar CHOKE label until that play. i want to see if TO is the guy who chokes. Or is he the guy who makes the great game winning catch. My money is on the guy who is gonna choke....
  23. I thought the "two minute drill" WAS the sex Back in time for the second half...
  24. Dunn, Sanders, and Faulk are all the same size as Emmitt Smith and Thurman Thomas. 5'10" around 210 to 215 lbs. Sproles measured 5'5 about 175-180 lbs. Sorry, but that is not the same size. He will make a roster, anp lay fow a year or two, but he will end up being a NOBODY....
  25. Sproles is 5' nothing- will never make it in this league. Thorpe has not had a good week, not sure if he will be an "instant" number three. I do love Nugent, and wouldn't mind spending the 2nd rd pick on him if we trade Travis for a second.
