  1. Do you two need a private room? As to Jim Kelly. Great question to ask. Was he boozing it up when he was 1 year out of college or after he proved his worth.
  2. Weren't there numerous polls before TT on who people would like to see in Buffalo? I am pretty sure Brees, Rivers and possibly Ryan were on that list. Fans here wanted a big arm to pass the ball because it is a passing league. We can see now how that turned out.
  3. but just think of the additional points scored and a better record of say 8-4 at this time. a man can dream right?
  4. The age old question. Who brings in players, the GM or the HC? If its the HC then why do you need a GM? this is in no way a concrete validation of the responsibilities http://www.answers.com/Q/What_does_a_general_manager_of_a_NFL_team_do The General Manager will have ultimate authority over the players, coaches, scouts, trainers, and basically anyone who can conceivably have an impact on the product the team puts on the field. Despite having hiring/firing power over the Head Coach, most GMs are expected to treat the coach as a near equal. The GM will consult closely with the Head Coach when selecting players, and it is universally expected that the Head Coach will have substantial powers delegated to him including total control of his roster once the offseason acquisitions are made, and control over his staff. See Sammy Watkins. We all have seen that the (then) HC wasn't happy as the GM had the final say as noted by the on the practice field argument(s) they had.
  5. I would like that only to see the Pats slip in the seeding and have to play on the road in the playoffs, unless they slip far enough to host a WC game. I see no need to sugar coat it. Worst case scenario is that the Bills lose. Nothing worst than that. Loose and stay home. After that the only thing left that is to play the craziest scenarios on the machine to keep them in contention.
  6. I just read that an hour ago. IMHO Jeffri Chadiha should swap out the NYJETS with another team.
  7. Actual playing time or practical backup experience? Jerry Hughes, LeSean McCoy, and Tyrod are the ones that I can think of off hand
  8. In my opinion - You need a decent T E A M to win. You don't need a gunslinger to rack up yards. You need a solid run game, a better than average defense and a reliable QB who at times can win when the has to throw late in games.
  9. How do you like this mashup story from Cincinnati Santa? http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/offbeat/zombie-nativity-back-a-year-after-controversy/ar-AAgfEou?ocid=ansmsnnews11
  10. More mud to the water as to who wanted him. http://www.hokiesports.com/football/recaps/20151113aab.html “Rex [Ryan, Buffalo’s coach] had connections with the Baltimore Ravens and a couple of guys on our team, like Corey Graham [buffalo’s safety who spent two years with the Ravens], they had been around him and saw what he brought during practices. Everybody thought the sky was the limit. The arrow was pointing up on this guy.” Ryan actually tried to trade for Taylor when Ryan served as the coach of the New York Jets, according to this story - http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Bills-add-another-QB-in-Tyrod-Taylor/eed71433-ad70-4c08-8959-a2e01e7b166b. He loved his athleticism, and for a lack of a better description, viewed him as a “poor man’s Russell Wilson.”
  11. My apologies again for the misinterpretation. Cheers
  12. Agreed. I believe it is proven by the link posted Manziel on his benching: 'I was forced to learn a hard lesson' "I was forced to learn a hard lesson," Manziel said, according to Mary Kay Cabot of The Plain Dealer. "I had to learn the hard way and I'm lucky to be back in the position that I'm in and being the starter again so I'm definitely not taking that lightly. He's back because they have little option.
  13. My apologies if I misinterpreted the post. I just don't understand why he had to single out Kiko. As I posted, I have not heard or read anything about Kiko saying anything negative. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/12/09/kiko-alonso-itll-be-fun-to-face-bills/ “Naw, man, it’s another week,” Alonso said, via the Philadelphia Daily News. “It’ll be fun because, obviously, I know those guys. … The fact that I got traded for [McCoy] has no relevance at all. It’s really just, the guy’s a great player. We’re going to have to be on top of our game and run to the ball and play sound football to stop that guy.” IMO - That is how Shady should have responded to playing the Eagles.
  14. What has Kiko done to deserve this comment? He's always been classy and as far as I've heard/read, he's done nothing against the Bills or their fans. Some people.
  15. Yes, it hasn't happened in over a decade. Eventually it will happen. If Taylor is the guy then it has to happen sooner than later. The NFLeast is a good place to start.
  16. Club hand going after Tommy! did not break his hand JO? dumbass writers you'd think that story would be from the onion
  17. Do they have a well thought out report on AW or just a compilation of tweets from twits?
  18. Are you indicating that he was the only Bills player to be a bit overzealous during that game? How fast some people turn on Bills players.
  19. Houston - I can see them defeating the Pats in Texas, I just can't fathom the Pats losing 3 in a row. Unless they have finally taken the huge fall over the edge. Indianapolis - Hasselbeck is injured. Charlie Whitehurst should be playing for a week +. Pittsburgh - @ Cincy then facing a top Defense in Denver, looking forward to a 2 game skid. Kansas City - Praying for upsets by SD and Oakland The Bills need wins and fans need to pry to the Football Gods like never before
  20. I'm hoping the Ravens win one or two of the very close games they play every week. Is it every game under 7 points?
  21. You were forced to? You didn't want to Johnny? Man that's just too bad. What a Train Wreck in Cleveland
