  1. So we must ignore the 4 years of learning from the bench? Isn't that being disingenuous? He's not a rookie, and he's learned while on a SB winning team. I like Tyrod as the starter, but I also have no issues with saying that he needs to develop more and that I expected a bit more from him. Here are 3 primary examples of Needs To Improve - He has yet to prove to me he can run an efficient 2 minute drill He needs to prove to me he can win when passing for more than 30 times Read the entire field and run when there is a hole to run (actually 2 things summed up) IMO at this time it would be unwise to pay him "Franchise" money.
  2. Offense vs defense. An apple to oranges comparisson. FWIW - Look at Sammys #'s then look at who he's had at QB for the majority of the past 2 seasons. Kyle "I quit" Orton The inexperienced/developing Tyrod Taylor (who seems to forget he's on the field when it matters) WRT OBJ. he's a whining primadonna who happens to have a SB champ at QB.
  3. The NFL darling Dolphins got eliminated last night. For those who still believe in miracles. If all Home teams win with the exception of Buffalo @ Washington.. your prayers can come true.
  4. A bit of an over reaction there John from Hemet. Was it I that implied that he was worried about his knee? No, I was not. I was responding to a post. Why would TT be told not to run? Wasn't his ability to scramble one of the reasons he was chosen as the starter? If the answer is yes, then he should utilize those talents. Again if any person on the field feels that they are "in position to get destroyed by a 250 pound heatseaking missile linebacker" then they are in the wrong business. That doubt will equal failure. Is it wrong for us to expect better of any player on the field who has been a professional for 5 years?
  5. IMO if you are afraid to play ...... then retire. That may be harsh, but realistic. HE can't have that on his mind. Reading defenses, his receivers and if need be running lanes needs to be his prime concern.
  6. I had said as much earlier. As much a I like Taylor, there is work to be done.
  7. it wasn't just one game John from Hemet, it has been many. All too often I have yelled at my TV to run when he could easily make the 1st with his feet. He was chosen for his abilities and he needs to use them.
  8. If that is true and the majority here expect it, then why are you still harping about the soon to be dumped backup?
  9. He's the backup and has not played in months (other than a trick play). Gotta wonder what is driving people these past few weeks months.
  10. I was in Best Buy and got a 1TB drive XBOX with Gears of War (also w/ Rare Replay assortment and Ori and the Blind Forest) for $349. Purchased a second controller, along with Fallout 4, Halo5 and call of Duty (buy 2 get one free). the man in blue said 500 G will hold about 6 games, the 1T (obviously) 12
  11. Do you honestly think the Bills still have a chance this season? God bless you for your optimism.
  12. IMO the Bills have a QB that looks great on paper and at time is exciting to watch. It has been 11 games and I find it hard to get excited or feel confident that the team can win any game when the offense is on the field. I see a QB that protects the ball but appears to not be able to run an efficient 2 minute drill. I would not commit to any high priced extension at this time. Man, that excuse is getting old. Just like Kyle Orton did? Tyrod is the best chance to win, but that may not be good enough. or not. That is pure conjecture by people sold on the idea that Taylor is a "Franchise guy". That is difficult not to do when you open up with that statement.
  13. there is one rule I've never understood and it may be on punts. Why are some placed on the 40 yd line and why on others do you see a ref jog down the sideline to some random point and stomp his foot? I get that he believes this may be the point where the ball goes out, but I just don;t see how he can accurately judge that from 15 to 20 yards away.
  14. Mariota plays for the Titans right? He's been pretty good for a rookie
  15. Do people know that they keep an archive of the rants that have gone on here (other than the obsessive rants that have been deleted) WRT to planet earth. This from one of the people who wanted MC to be the backup. I'll leave it at that
  16. 666 total yards what does "TBD poster in good standings" actually mean? darn are ties allowed? I see someone else guessed the same # the edit corrected a spelling error
  17. how does that help with the 360 games I already have? Software patch ? nothing wrong with both units hooked up to the TV I guess
  18. I'm thinking of doing this too. Will XBox 360 games work on XBOX 1 and is there really a need to go 1T over 500G? Family wish list Fallout 4, Gears of War (latest) and Halo Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas are already conquered on XBox 360
  19. I heard this on the radio this AM. Only 1 WR on the committee. There should be more.
  20. How many people were unhappy with Jim for his early antics and not wanting to play in Buffalo? I don't recall any drinking problems as I was probably just as drunk but I may have not liked Jim for his anti Buffalo stance.
  21. Sure I do. I would like to have wins when passing for more than 30 times. Not having to do so to get wins is great too. I'd be happy with 28 ppg average. WRT 275+/game. If your main focus is on the pass then you are easier to predict and defense against. Consistency is the key. Do that and the passing yards per game should increase.
  22. that would make it perfect. If the Pats Win and the JETS Lose, the Pats clinch the division. So, not so perfect after all.
