They make Russ Brandon Football Czar (oh, but he has nothing to do with football decisions)

Don't worry, Brandon will find some way to market this team. I really envision him in Pegula's ear last year promoting what the hiring of Rex would do for season ticket sales. There are so many Brandon lovers... no matter what is said about his lack of involvement in football decisions I don't believe it for a minute. He obviously is not going anywhere, he is involved in the decisions and it does not help..

Rex and his brother should be characters in a cartoon show. What he did to the defense is criminal.

I would have like to see the organization make an announcement treating Fred with as much dignity and class as he has shown. To hear the cold, hard fact (although it is a cold, hard business) through a reporter just doesn't seem right.

I am happy with the hire but if I were to pick the potential head coach that was the most "marketable", it would be Ryan. Thay makes me wonder about how involved Brandon is. I wish they would just cut ties with him. I know he is considerd a "marketing genius" but I really wish he would be cut out of everything else.

Mike... Yesterday has very little to do with my comments on Brandon. He hired the Coaches and has had input on players. He was not THE problem yesterday but is a part of the overall problem that we have seen for many years. Everyone is all over Marrone, Hackett and others (Understandably so) but let's not forget Brandons "contributions".

Brandon seems to skate through so much of this mess. He is the one constant through these depressing years. I am really sick of "He is a great Marketer". There are a lot of talented marketing professionals out there. He had Wilson's ear and he is doing his best to work on Pegula. He was "in charge" for several of the terrible decisions that have been made. He hired a lower tier College coach (and his asinine assistants). So now he is "working" Pegula with all his comments about Marrone. He is a politician and a very poor football man. Get rid of him... he is a major part of this teams problems.

All these people (especially Brandon) can continue to be shocked that fans want Marrone gone.

All the love given to St Doug this week... the Head Coach is at fault for an effort like this! Michigan can have him and Little Nate.

I am sorry if I have missed an update on this but the last I read Williams was going to possibly have surgery on his other foot. Now I see he is going to The Pro Bowl to play. If his foot was so bad I am surprised he would go play. If anyone has any kind of update I would appreciate it.

Wasn't (or isn't) Kyle supposed to have surgery?
