  1. If I remember right, he made all defensive lineman have a wrestling match with him and at least "held his own".
  2. I thought he was great, too... he was entertaining. I loved the fact that all defensive lineman had to wrestle him, all the sideline antics and his enthusiasm. He certainly brought enthusiasm but I doubt any of us know what type of teacher (sorry to use the Greggo term) or coach he was. I would guess that firing a coach as popular as Tim was means he was weak in other areas.
  3. No comments, little Mike seemed excited leading up to the question, but that is just my perception. Polian did mention that he was friends with Levy but went on to praise him, mentioned how excited people in the Bill's organization seemed to be over the choice and what a great, great choice he was. He mentioned that TD was also a friend and said the firing was the nature of the business, but in no way defended TD.
  4. I am not a MM fan but none of us know the real stories regarding Sam Adams and Eric Moulds. Let's just say that Sam was not giving 100% and needed his butt kicked a little... wouldn't you as a head coach bench him if nothing else worked? How about Eric... regardless why it happened, if he told off a coach and refused to play (if true), wouldn't you suspend him? Losman/Holcomb... who was actually making the decisions? Losing control of the team? I don't know, but until we know the full stories (probably never), how can we judge him regarding this issue? Now his play calling is another issue...
  5. Was just on Mike and Mike and could not be any more complimentary about the appointment of Marv Levy. Bill is a straight shooter and it was great to hear.
  6. Maybe she'll qualify to be a cheerleader next year when they restrict their ages to 80 and above...
  7. I wasn't aware of "health problems". What's the scoop?
  8. Ralph was so emphatic about "more time here" that I have to believe this was quite an issue.
  9. I love how Ralph answered that question. He doesn't fire assistants, the head coach does. I believe Ralph's strategy is to tell the head coach to fire an assistant and if the order is not carried out, Ralph just fires the head coach.
  10. Sorry if I have missed this being posted already. Is there anyway to listen to the press conference live? Thanks for any help.
  11. could he be thinking that if MM starts off miserably he'll have Marv to throw in there as the "interim" coach?
  12. GO 1. Rusty Jones replacement 2. Ridiculous play calling 3. Seemed to "lose control" of the team 4. Bottom line... 5 and 11 5. Very rarely beat "quality" opponents (he seemed overmatched) STAY (harder to think of) 1. Perhaps the QB fiasco and other decisions were TD's... not his 2. The opening drives of each game showed he could do "something right" I am interested in other opinions... I certainly think he should go.
  13. The new GM will have an interesting decision to make about WM's future in Buffalo. Has he earned a big, new contract to lock him in here? Or do we just "let it ride" and see how he does in a contract year?
  14. And Schottenheimer will be the new HC...
  15. Nice observations. I think Milloy should go. He has not been able to adequately cover any one for years. Whan a good qb needs to complete a pass they normally zero in on Milloy or Fletcher (I don't mean this as a huge knock on Fletcher, but he is a little weak in coverage).
  16. My mistake... I am not sure what a grounf is... I meant ground.
  17. I don't think you are correct... a drop kick must hit the grounf first.
  18. I hugged both of my children and said a quick prayer. All of the arguing in this post is shameful...
  19. Another example of lack of respect for the coaching staff. They are "playing hard" for MM... yeah, sure...
  20. I beg to differ. I have always like Milloy; he is a hard hitter that always gives his all.... BUT, he cannot cover anyone. I hardly ever see him break up a pass, whoever he is defending always seems to get open. This year, in fact, I don't even feel that he has been effective with blitzes. Like I said, I like his style but he is far from a top safety at this point in his career.
  21. MM is probably planning on "resting" JP the rest of the year to save him for TD's second 5 year plan...
