He is what he is at this point of his career, a journeyman WR who needs to play solid special teams to justify his spot and a guy you are trying to replace on your roster with a younger, better, cheaper player. The likelihood of him suddenly busting out onto the scene with a monster year is exceedingly low.

I will say, if the Patriots try to sneak Joe Milton through waivers to get him onto their PS the Bills should claim him. I suspect he will come up with a strange injury before then though.

I'm trying to leave my current gig. I'm quite certain there will be a faction that completely trash me when I'm gone. I can probably name each of them. Some of it will be deserved, some of it will be their pent up frustration with my lack of tolerance for their incompetence.

You're currently allowed to have as many kickers as you like on your roster. I'd argue QB1 is way more valuable than kicker. Why not put red shirts on all of them?

Sweet Christ. At that point just give them the ball at the 35, or have the ball dropped in by an ad funded drone, or shot out of the crowd by a CO2 cannon. Whatever. Safety kickoffs are stupid anyway. Players are still going to get hurt.

I took a tour of Denver's stadium and the little Sports Hall of Fame they have there. 6 people on the tour. 4 of them were my family. I don't think we moved the economic needle for downtown Denver that day. Probably. Not free, but probably. It's a pretty standard thing these days. The primary thing I learned from taking Denver's tour was to never ever ever order a draft beer there. They showed us how they get the beer up to the concessions stands via huge lines from centralized locations throughout the stadium basement area. Huge long lines. A beer you get in the upper deck came from a central refrigerated room on the bottom level via a very very long line stretching from point A to point B. There is no way they actually get those lines clean.

Everyone did, some teams were egregious with it. Miami immediately comes to mind.

But if that is all hell breaking loose then man hell has gotten soft these days.

And this is why I never like doing preseason stuff with the Steelers.

It's a good way to keep guys hungry and competing. The guy who was asked about doesn't get full of himself, the other guys don't feel discouraged and that they aren't noticed. End result, everyone keeps going hard which is what this time of year is for.
