We're wearing the throwback uniforms this week. Anybody know the win loss record when we wear throwbacks? Just curious.

Dareus traded to Jacksonville!
HuSeYiN_NYC replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Beane didn't "buy" high. Not his draft. All Beane saw was an overpriced player taking up cap space, undisciplined, not trustworthy and not the kind of player they want in the locker room. Simple. Me as a fan, I wish they would of got something better in return like a 4th round pick or a 5th and a player, but hey, if I put myself in Beanes shoes, the trade makes sense. -
Are the Bills Oppressing Anquan Boldin?

No offense taken. You show signs of someone who was molested by their uncle. See what I did there? -

I wouldn't say "must". It's questions I ask myself ABOUT the trollers. Didn't say they WERE molested. Just trying to figure out what makes people do the things they do on my own. So far the Uncle coming to the bedroom at night just makes the most sense to me. My theory may change. -
Logan Thomas’ Daughter RIP

Sad news. May God Bless her soul to Heaven. Being a father of a 14 year old girl, I took this news as a wake up call. Tomorrow nor today is guaranteed. I pray Logan can stay with patience through these tough times. -

Whether you fall for it or not, u gotta question the original poster. If it's not a troll, then discussions can be had to understand the posters' point of view. If it IS trolling, i personally keep it moving but I do question the mentality of a troller. Like, do u just wake up one day and feel like, I just wanna be THAT person today? Is it cuz you're tired of your uncle coming into your bedroom while you're sleeping and spooning you? I think to myself, anybody who goes around trolling on the internet either got too much time on their hands or has abuse issues. Just next time tell your uncle, NO. -

Boldin for a 7th round pick to whatever team wants him. If that don't work, then Boldin for a McDonald's hot coffee light and sweet will work too... But seriously, I agree with the majority here. He signed a contract and that's that. Not like he will do much for a team anyway (man is he slow or what?), but I like how Beane is handling the situation. -
First time coming to Buffalo!!!
HuSeYiN_NYC replied to cantankerous's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im born and raised and still live in NYC. Went to my 1st game at the Ralph close to 16 years ago. The people were so nice and it just felt like home. If it didn't get so cold, I would move out there just because of the people living in it. But I hope you have fun and add a victory to your home game. Mine was a loss but it still didn't make me not want to go back. I been to a Bills game every year at least once since then. Enjoy. Oh side note, i read u got 50 yard line tickets. The fans there are mostly squares. If you want a loud crowd that never sits down and stands for almost the entire game, purchase tickets on row 136. It's like the 15-20 yard line on the Bills sideline. My favorite row that i been on. -

Bike messengers do that all the time. Humber's form is good. He'd get a few middle fingers for going so slow but he won't die like Alexander. Buddy of mine sent me a photo of his fiance in a photoshoot. Poyer is blessed. -

All the different ways to look at the defense
HuSeYiN_NYC replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The amount of confusion on the field yesterday on defense was very noticeable. Another thing was the opponent's playcalls were chosen to perfection compared to the defense Frazier called on almost every down. It was a chess match we were losing honestly. I don't think it has much to do with being "exploited" and more so to do with miscommunication, not getting pressure up front and the playcall. All coaches always say there's nothing really different in systems in the NFL. It all boils down to communication and execution. Tampa did a good job with theirs on offense and we struggled on defense with ours. -

All the different ways to look at the defense

Every game defensively has been very different but for the game against the Bucs specifically, our Dline wasn't getting pressure to the QB quick enough. Dareus was invisible (wasn't pushing the lineman in front of him at all and wasn't even getting double teamed from the times I decided to watch 99). The times we DID get pressure, Winston would panic and underthrow receivers. But when he had time to throw, he torched the zone coverage. I mean he's a really good QB who scans the field very well, is accurate and has very good weapons to throw to. The defense didn't just play against an average offense. The Bucs have MANY weapons so I would say it was because the offense we were playing against was above average and we didn't get enough pressure up front. -
YES! When that happened, for the weirdest of all feelings, my brain spoke to my eyes (saw the play visually), then my eyes had contact with my Brain again and told him to have communication with the heart and let him know what just happened. On the way to communicating with the heart, the lips said YOOOOOOOO lets GOOOOOO and word finally reached the heart and I just had that feeling that this team is definitely different than any other Bills team in the past decade. I absolutely loved that play, that call and just who they chose to substitute in and not just substitute, but run the play on THAT side AND have him pull left. So good.

I can understand that train of thought. But that way of thinking will crush your soul. There are many things to be happy about with the 2017 Buffalo Bills but there are also many flaws. If you take the one game at a time approach, you can invest your feelings into the next game and next game only without looking too far ahead. I would suggest to just enjoy the W we got yesterday today and then tomorrow (or even today) start putting your focus on the Raiders. It's a home game. We know Derek Carr is a really good QB. Their defense is supposedly not that good is what I'm hearing. Urge your family and friends with season tickets to not sell their tickets to Raider fans. I expect the stadium to be loud as always. Also, watch press conferences throughout the week and it might help you get a better feel to how practice has been going all week, who's healthy who's not. For example, after watching McCoy's press conference on Wednesday, i had that feeling that he was gonna have a great game. It just gave me alot of confidence. 1 game at a time man. Never can plan too far ahead. We're pretty banged up as is, let's just hope we stay healthy and correct mistakes and learn from them. That's all we can do as fans. Only way we can actually contribute is, going to the game and losing our voice yelling when our defense is on the field. I'm kind of upset that I had to stop smoking 10 years ago to focus on nutrition and health, cuz I would LOVE to have tried smoking whatever batch you got burning.

I'm not concerned about your concerns. TB has an explosive offense in Mike Evans, the two Tight Ends and Desean Jackson. Oh and their QB is pretty good also. I haven't watched any TB games but what I saw on the field today was a really good TB offense calling the better plays against our defensive calls. Many times I saw confusion on the field for our defense but those are easily correctable. We missed an interception and also a fumble. We would of had 5 takeaways today instead of 3. Im not concerned about our defense. I'm actually glad it played out the way it did (even though it was a bit much for us fans watching) because resilience isn't something you can practice during the week. It happens in live action and our guys stayed resilient and didn't panic. Playcalling, confusion and not pressuring the QB quicker is what made the defense look the way thet did today. All easily correctible. Aside from one undisciplined play where we got flagged, the defense played disciplinary football. But you don't have to take my word for it, I'm just a fan. Just watch the locker room speech and listen to Kyle Williams talk. The guy was getting choked up with emotion. There's alot of love in that locker room and I believe in our guys to show up every week and give 110% as they say. Concerned? Nah man. I'm feelin good. -
