  1. By my very rough calculations (working on the cap going up to $165m, on a rough par with recent inflation) the Bills should have about $137.5m in cap commitments. Resulting in about $27.5m in cap space. That's before re-signing any of Gilmore, Mills, Zach Brown, Woods, Felton, Gillislee, Bryant, Douzable, Alexander, Duke Williams, Blanton, Meeks, Schmidt. The roster holes would be FB, #2 WR, #2/3 TE, starting RT, backup DL (x2), starting CB, backup S (x2) and punter.
  2. He doesn't like when they fight back so he's !@#$ed.
  3. Whether it's Anthony Lynn, Chris Palmer, David Lee, I hope someone sees that in film review and just tells him to calm down, set his feet and make it easier for his guys. It wasn't costly in that moment but there might be another one where it is. Stress the little things and hope he improves.
  4. When they were matched up, I think he gave up one pressure to Donald all game. Mighty impressive display.
  5. Situational football is the wheelhouse that clock management falls into. Just a pretty woeful error to make, hope it's a teachable moment for him.
  6. I'm trying to avoid being smug about him but I'm finding it really hard. He's seen Brandon Williams, Leonard Williams, Calais Campbell and Aaron Donald this year. Hasn't looked like he's out of his depth against any of them. Really happy for him, making his mother proud.
  7. The killer for me was Tyrod's pass to Woods. If he leads him to get out of bounds, saves roughly 9-10 seconds. Just a terrible throw given the situation. There doesn't seem to be a great deal of urgency yet, I hope that's part of the plan going forward. Need to be able to play at appropriate tempo and be comfortable with it.
  8. I'm on record as a Mario fan. I didn't particularly like the way he conducted himself but that's his choice to make. It was plainly obvious he had no long-term future with the team. I think there was multiple factors at play last year, not going to put 100% of it on Mario. I don't think many people came out of 2015 with an enhanced reputation, least of all Mario. I kinda blame Rex for not benching him but, again, his choice to make.
  9. Scott's not wrong, they really struggled to stop an awful QB in the first half. Keenum was 10-of-14 in the first half after being around 55% this season. Poor tackling/angles, corner play was pretty meh on the boundary. The positive is they adjusted when it mattered, I'll give Rex/Thurman credit for making the adjustments they didn't in Week 2.
  10. I'm one of the people that thinks Felton wasn't actually that bad last year. I think they didn't really use him to his true strengths as much as anything. Last 3 weeks, I've been completely enamoured with him. He's back to his old Vikings form, think he's had 6 pancakes since Lynn took over.
  11. I don't know what happened in the past few weeks but him and Felton seem to be in sync as a duo. Really working well together whereas last year, they seemed to work against each other a lot.
  12. If Breshad Perriman or Mike Wallace knew how to wide receiver properly, he'd probably still be in his job. Such are the margins of error in the NFL.
  13. Where I'm at with this too. I figured that Mario knew the end in Buffalo was coming and kept himself from getting injured for the next deal. Honestly seen very little of the Dolphins but the stat line is still disappointing. I still hate the constant mention of him, especially from those calling him classless and then relishing in his apparent demise.
  14. Shady - obvious reasons John Miller - dude kept Aaron !@#$ing Donald to just one pressure against him. Lorenzo Alexander - obvious reasons Robey-Coleman - The midget is back and I love it. Colton Schmidt - 45.7 net average, 2 return yards allowed, 4 punts downed in the Rams' 20. Absolute stud.
  15. Darby got turned inside out by Edelman, biting on a fake and giving up a first down. He's obviously dialling it in, waiting for that contract.
  16. I told everyone pre-draft that Miller was going to end up a solid starter for us. It's slowly coming to fruition. His bad snaps in pass pro are getting less frequent but it's a gradual process. It's not been a shock for me, playing OL on one leg for half a season will make anyone look bad, let alone a project rookie. Jordan Mills is officially out of my doghouse for now. Until he got injured in the 4th, I thought he was our best OL. No doubt in my mind that he's the unquestioned starter for the next dozen games, provided he stays healthy. The next 3 months need to pass to give a better sample size on his long-term future though.
  17. They signed him with ST in mind. Tate became available, made Reggie surplus to requirements on that front. If they can work him into the passing game, that's fine. If not, he has to leave.
  18. Of course not. That's not nearly as riveting a narrative to post about. But yeah, Shady was pretty **** in pass pro yesterday.
  19. Looks pretty good to me! https://gfycat.com/OrganicWelllitAmericanbittern
  20. It's actually Olé, it's Spanish. Acquire some culture.
  21. Hats off to Doug but also, Rob Hanrahan and his Pro personnel department.
  22. I hope your boy gets well soon.
  23. Just starting a 5 hour linebacker watching session. I'll grab a bite to eat before the game and buckle in for a bumpy ride.
  24. Appreciate it. I've spent the past couple of days compiling PFF data from the past 3 weeks, I'm surprised I didn't screw up worse
  25. At the time of writing this, every indication that Cannon and Garrett would play. I hate when injuries screw these pieces up, apologies for the mistakes on my end.
