  1. For what we run, he fits. Prior to today, 64 snaps - 30 run block, 25 routes run, 9 pass block. He'll be reliable on the 20-25 targets a season he'll get. Hard worker. He's firmly penned in as my TE3 for 2017, worth a roster spot.
  2. I still dislike him from an athletic standpoint but can't fault him so far this year. He's starting to become a solid pro. I've let up on him quite a bit, actually might take a deeper look at him for some bye week coverage.
  3. Poe is one of the most mind-boggling athletes I've ever come across. Ran a 4.98 at the Combine weighing 346 pounds. Amazing play, I'd take him as Clay's backup.
  4. I must praise the lord Kenny Britt for blessing my fantasy team with a huge points haul. And for not doing that **** last week
  5. I'm happy to give credit where its due. Rex has done what I thought he might've been incapable of doing; delegating. Still a case of wait and see for me. It has to manifest itself in a postseason berth, but I'm more comfortable with him as the HC than I have been for the past year or so.
  6. If you watch a lot of football, it's well worth it. There are some bugs creeping in, especially with the All-22, and the customer service is useless. It's not all sunshine and rainbows but it's a solid product. As I'm overseas, I rely on it just to watch games.
  7. Writes about Bug Howard; has career highs in receptions and yardage. Beginner's luck
  8. As promised - http://billswire.usatoday.com/2016/10/15/college-football-week-seven-cam-robinson/ I think Yolo might like this one.
  9. https://www.profootballfocus.com/draft-5-prospect-matchups-you-need-to-watch-for-in-week-7/ The piece had this to say about NC State CB Jack Tocho. "Tocho has intriguing size at 6-foot, 201 pounds, and has posted head-turning production this season. After a solid 2014 and 2015, Tocho has allowed only 12 receptions on 29 targets for 134 yards (4.6 yards per attempt), including an interception and four passes defensed. With 18 of Williams’ 47 targets coming on go routes and Tocho allowing only 1-of-8 with two passes defensed on that pass pattern, something has to give on Saturday afternoon" EDIT - I'll also have my Week 7 CFB preview piece up tomorrow morning.
  10. I'm not quite there with those guys yet. Definitely represent massive improvement, just want to see them sustain it for a little while longer. Typically, an OL only gets in if he's on a successful team or his Madden rating is high.
  11. It drives me crazy. It's not really limited to football talk, I've seen stats from news stories refer it to as one-fourth. One of those things that just absolutely sends me into a rage.
  12. Why can Americans not use "one quarter"? You just called it Quarters coverage, for crying out loud! One-fourth? My god, this is why people hate you.
  13. Right now, Shady, Hughes, Z Brown, K Williams are guys that I'd happily vote for on merit. Felton, Alexander, maybe Schmidt/Tate for ST spots would get some light consideration.
  14. Shawn Powell - a man so diverse, he could shank every punt and yet still out-kick his coverage like a beast. 107 punts, 48 returns allowed for 650 yards, 2 TD's.
  15. I wish punting stats were more nuanced. Average/net yardage is fine, just wish there was an "average distance to kick into" stat. On the face of it, that 43-yarder doesn't sound impressive. Only allowed 19 return yards all season, ST has been really impressive thus far. Even Carp kicking off hasn't been the disaster I thought it would be.
  16. Yeah. From the AZ 47 to the 4, downed by Humber.
  17. Arizona was a poor game. Might honestly be the worst I've ever seen him. Last week, he was immaculate. In Week 1, what he did to Devin Hester was a work of art. Unfortunately, he does have his wobbles. Not going to crack the upper echelon until he finds that consistency.
  18. I don't know if they've done a re-grade from the time I received the PDF files but Miller has a cumulative gameday grade of -1.3. The 77.4 grade for him is the high-end of average. 81.7 in pass pro is very good, 75.0 as a run blocker. I don't have a clue how he can be below average (0.0 being completely neutral) in one set but above average/good in others.
  19. PFF has him 24th in the NFL, Richie 39th. 24th as a pass blocker, 27th as a run blocker. I think that's probably fair.
  20. Physical limitations will stop him being a top-tier player but his technique can be nurtured to the point where he's a very reliable 10-12 year player. The thing that I think gets lost on people is that, as a offensive lineman, neutral can be a win. John is getting to the point already where he's not doing harm to the game plan. If you get that from a 3rd round pick, that's return on investment you can live with.
  21. 31-13 Bills. This really should be a walkover.
  22. I'm less bothered about Kaepernick than I am of the inevitable idiot that's going to overstep the line. Just want a Bills win and the game to pass without incident.
  23. Going to dig into their battle later. Very much looking forward to it.
