Forrest Lamp weighed in with shorter arms than even I expected. The dream, she is dead.
@PFF_Steve
Not sure how Forrest Lamp managed to block everyone with no arms, but he had quite the college career
I guess the thinking is that QB coach of a passable QB is the quickest route to an OC job. He's not badly qualified for the role, having coached QB's before. Just a while ago.
It's part of why I despise the Pro Bowl. The only players that genuinely care about it are the guys that have bonuses attached to it.
Stephon is a good player on the whole but shouldn't be at an All-Star game based on those 16 games. All-Pro is the bigger honour because you don't tend to have guys voting with no frame of reference outside of "Oooh, he got 5 picks, must be good."
Cooper Kupp fans, unite!
Now I have your attention, what if I said that I thought Kupp could just be a plus athlete version of Jarvis Landry? I know, good luck selling that one to the fanbase and RIP my Twitter mentions.
I'm glad Elijah McGuire showed up, I've been banging that particular drum since his freshman year.
There were a few players that made me curious to do more digging - OT Sam Tevi, LBs Paul Magloire, Javancy Jones, Richie Brown.
Okay, boys and girls. Blokes has you covered on players to watch in the Shrine Game today. Live on NFL Network, 3pm ET kickoff. Yes, I included a kicker. Mainly because Nick Weiler has beautiful hair.

I'll also be doing something similar for the Senior Bowl next week.
My favourite is Isaiah Golden, defensive tackle from McNeese State. Early declaration after serving 3 months of a 10 year (!) sentence for robbery.
He might've got lucky being released that early but he's a damn moron.
I was planning on watching Pipkin this weekend. Not seen anything but the stats so far.
I know Mark Schofield did a piece on him for Inside The Pylon. Might have to drag that up at some point.
I'd imagine that they'll be incorporating bootlegs etc. into the playbook that might ease some of the strain in pass pro. Wouldn't surprise me to see Miller phased out, as much as I like him.
I'm really intrigued by the OT options they take a look at now, especially in the draft. If this opens up an avenue to drafting Chad Wheeler, I'm very much in favour.
Ryan Groy is the interesting name here. I think LT/LG would be okay with that philosophical shift but less sure about Wood/Miller. Groy really is a cut above them as an athlete and acquitted himself well when pressed into action.
I'm not saying I called it but I kinda called it.

I like the principles of the hire. I heart me some West Coast football, can fit that to some of the personnel currently under contract.
I've seen some OL guys I respect laugh at that and his PFF grade due to getting a ton of help. I haven't watched him to know for sure but good for him. If I missed, it was a pretty !@#$ing spectacular way to do it
I really can't see Bisnowaty being a tackle. There's a path to him being a solid interior guy at some point. Definitely draftable though, same with Erik Magnuson of Michigan.
Forrest Lamp is a Day 1 starter at LT and will be my top OL. I think he's worth the 10th pick, I think he's extremely good. But his arm length will come up 1/8th of an inch shorter than they'd like and switch him to guard. Like !@#$ing clockwork.
I could talk myself into taking Ramczyk at 10 but not 100% comfortable with it.
As far as I'm aware, the Navy have allowed Keenan Reynolds and Joe Cardona to defer their military service recently. I'm not sure if the Air Force would allow something similar but the precedent would be there to allow it.
I believe they have to complete five years of active service as a prerequisite of the free education.
