  1. The more I watched, the lower the grade got. I'll cut him some slack because of that god-awful passing attack but I think he ended up being a 4th rounder. The second I started making comparisons between Corey and TO, I couldn't do anything but call him WR1. The scary thing is, I think Corey can get better. Clean up those idiotic drops etc.
  2. Davis is the clear #1 for me. Williams is still #2 with a high 2nd grade but I'm a little worried about his vertical game not working against NFL-level CB's. At Clemson, he could stack them nicely and create that half-step for himself. Against stronger players, or guys with better recovery speed, does he replicate? At the very least, he's a great slant/comeback type of WR and a high level possession receiver. Not a knock on him that he's not a 1st rounder for me, still appreciate his game.
  3. Nearly 6'4", 214 pounds. No hand measurement that I've seen yet.
  4. I don't have a 1st round grade on him. I'm suffering from LaQuon Treadwell hangover syndrome.
  5. I understand that. Was my first thought as well, actually. Yet another big guy he thinks is Ben. I know a few guys in draft media circles that like him, I know a few that dislike him a lot. Myself and Mark Schofield both have concerns with mechanics but we have a slightly different reasoning to it. Mark is a former college QB and I draw reference from a different sport entirely so I'll happily concede to him that he's likely right and I'm wrong. We both think he's fixable though with a high ceiling. Mark is super smart though, this explains his concerns - http://insidethepylon.com/pylon-u/teams-ncaa/division-ia-fbs/fbs-independents/notre-dame-fighting-irish/2016/09/13/deshone-kizer-study-throwing-mechanics/
  6. Not a fan of him in the 1st but that's my guy. I get it, I'm the only one. I don't particularly care
  7. The results today will only strengthen that. Right or wrong, a lot of teams will value him because he's bigger.
  8. Trubisky 6'2", 222 pounds, 9 1/2" hands. Kizer 6'4", 233 pounds, 9 7/8" hands. Watson 6'2 1/2", 221 pounds, 9 3/4" hands. Mahomes 6'2", 225 pounds, 9 1/4" hands. All clear every major threshold for the majority of teams, although some teams will downgrade Mahomes for just making their baseline.
  9. The Steelers writers I know seem to think he's more of a guard masquerading on the outside than a true tackle. That said, with two starting tackles entrenched and Jerald Hawkins, they might not fight to keep him. Posted a 1.68 10-split, 4.95 40 time at his pro day, dude can shift.
  10. I also remember Jevan Snead
  11. Apparently a big !@#$ up at the Senior Bowl with measurements. Expect a bunch of results changing like this. I figured as much, never bought Lamp being that stubby.
  12. I'm not saying, I'm just saying. @JoshNorris 23m23 minutes ago Forrest Lamp 6'4/309 lbs 32 1/4" arms 10 5/8" hands Arms measured in over an inch longer than at that Senior Bowl (31 1/8)
  13. Was up until 2am watching him. I think I'm in love. Intrigued how he tests comparable to Taylor Lewan. Attitude-wise, they're twins.
  14. 4.50 is a good estimate. If Derrick Henry went 4.54 at 247 pounds, that should put them on equal footing as straight line athletes considering weight density. More interested in the 3-cone and short shuttle though. That's where Henry fell short. And the one-man bar fight checked in looking GOOOD @TheJoeMarino Utah OT Garrett Bolles checks in at 6'5'', 297 lbs. with 34" arms.
  15. Wouldn't be shocked if he ran 4.45, even at 240. He's remarkably quick in the straight line. If they have an Alabama defender run at him as he takes off, might take all day.
  16. Now you're talking. I adore that man. His balance is something else.
  17. Nope, even as a huge fan of Dalvin. On Day 3, if they want a guy like Matt Dayes (NC State) or Joe Williams (Utah), maybe consider one.
  18. If they want a plodder to slam into the OL, they can just re-sign Fat Eddie.
  19. The RFA tender gives them a great option to trial it. One year deal, no long term commitment. Still a big fan of taking Chad Wheeler in the mid rounds if we go developmental than searching for an immediate starter. Wouldn't have to sink a lot of cost into that (Groy original round tender/Wheeler in the 3rd is likely a $2.5m combined cap hit) and could always address it again next year. Wheeler played LT, could be a swing tackle.
  20. Yeah, I think that's something worthy bearing in mind. I think he's a fine coach, I really do. I don't want to set too many cats amongst pigeons but, looking at Castillo's history at RT, I'm not convinced that they aren't evaluating Ryan Groy as a potential RT option.
  21. Miller isn't the guy I'd handpick to be a prototype zone scheme guard. I'd prefer a touch more athletic ability but his technical skills make up for it. I expect him to be what he currently is, serviceable. Roman's playbook did include some zone concepts so he's not alien to them. Big believer that the most important aspect is that we return at least 4 starters. Also, Juan Castillo is a damn good replacement for Kromer.
  22. The poor person that had to transcribe this. 135 minutes it lasted Appreciate it though.
  23. Let me draft all of your offensive linemen, Doug. Miller's going to be one of those guys that I'm dining out on for years to come
