  1. I saw someone suggest he change his name to Jumpy.
  2. I'll go through the field drills at some point to look at Mahomes especially, curiousity about those feet. It's just not something that will factor in because they don't revert to bad habits. Brad Kaaya looked great against air but he's going to. The second he gets blitzed, he'll likely look exactly like he did on film. I'll get off my soap box now
  3. Only thing that's changing the grades I have is either more game film or an arrest. I frankly don't care about anything a QB does at the Combine. I don't get access to interviews, only thing I'd want to see.
  4. I'm starting to get worried. Once upon a time, my takes got met with snorts of derision.
  5. Seeing a few nerds say that Ross was closer to 4.30. What a slowcoach!
  6. I think it's pretty much guaranteed that one of the guys I like will be there at 10 so I'm probably inclined to stay there. I like the trade back idea because of the depth of the class though. This is a class to have a 1st, 4 Day 2 picks and a couple of 4th rounders. I might not get my 'special' WR or CB but I like the mid-round options at those positions so I don't get too concerned if Davis/Lattimore go top 9. Kinda why I'm good with McDowell and Foster. I think LB especially is really iffy after a couple of guys if you want a stud.
  7. I get that and I absolutely agree. Although it's important to understand both the class and the situation your roster is in. I'll put things in my tiers as they pertain to picking 10th. QB - potential need, definite need of upgrade. Not one QB I'd take at 10. Pass rush - 1st on Shaq last year, Jerry under contract, we're not going DE at 10. McDowell as a 3-tech could make sense though. Pass protection - RT is a big need. Anyone at 10 is a reach but, for the right player (Ramczyk), I'll let it go. Pass catchers - Position of need. Currently only one WR with a 1st round grade for me. Corey Davis makes the list. Not a TE in the 1st kind of guy but I understand the intrigue of OJ Howard. Pass coverage - Gilmore goes, huge need. Lattimore and Humphrey are okay for me at 10. Safety is a massive need but rare guys only that early. Hooker makes the list. Special cases - basically any phenom talent, which I think Foster is. LB might not be a premium position but the creative freedom of having him at WLB in this scheme is hard to pass up. Reuben isn't the top of my list but he's on my list. I don't just want any LB, I want that one.
  8. Honestly, I'd rather have the #1 linebacker than reach for the #3 safety, the #2/3 QB. Depends on how the board falls. You can state that "you can find linebackers anywhere" but you don't find premier athletes at linebacker later without a plethora of flaws. You want to build a LB group like the one McDermott had, Davis, Kuechly, Thompson all top-25 picks.
  9. If they took Foster, my LB group would ideally go: Will - Foster Mike - Ragland Sam - Z Brown Forget comparing to two of the greatest LB's of the past decade and focus on what the players we have do best. You'll drive yourself mad if that's your benchmark.
  10. That's the important thing to remember - this is just one mistake. It's not like others that show a pattern of behavioural issues. It's a stupid thing for Reuben to do. This is THE job interview, it's a 4-day ordeal, you're getting stressed a lot physically and mentally. You can't snap because the microscope is on you. If he suffers consequences from this, it's his own fault. Not putting me off from taking him at 10 though, unless more details emerge than have currently done so.
  11. John Ross with the 133" broad.
  12. Just the first lot of DB's on this from Arif. Everyone highlighted has 32"+ arm length. https://twitter.com/ArifHasanNFL/status/838032518137905153 Chris Godwin, PSU WR with a 4.42 (unofficial). That might just be my guy this year.
  13. #LengthMatters #Colorado CB Ahkello Witherspoon measured 6-2 3/4, 198 pounds, 9 7/8 hands, 33 inch arms, 79 3/8 wingspan. #Louisville S Josh Harvey-Clemons measured 6-4 1/4, 217 pounds, 10 3/8 hands, 35 3/8 arms, 82 5/8 wingspan.
  14. I wrote a little something on the winners and losers from the OL & RB groups in Indianapolis. I'll do the same for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/03/03/winners-and-losers-from-friday-at-the-2017-nfl-scouting-combine/
  15. Good. Kid is a BEAST at his best. Also: @ezlazar As if Christian McCaffrey's day couldn't get any better he also ran a 6.57 3-Cone. The 2nd fastest by an RB at the #NFLCombine since 2003.
  16. I wrote about him a couple months ago. If you give this a read over, I'm happy to answer any other questions you might have - http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/01/09/buffalo-bills-nfl-draft-spotlight-msu-dl-malik-mcdowell-scouting-report/
  17. 4.51 (unofficial). You suck at this.
  18. That's not very nice.
  19. Well....... 6-foot-6, 310 pounds. 33.125" arm length. 10.125" hand size. 5.12 40 time with a 1.82 10-split. I'd play that at RT.
  20. All 3 USC OL posted awful times. Banner - 5.58, 1.94 10-split. Mama - 5.84 (!), 1.95 10-split. Wheeler - 5.43, 1.89 10-split. Stunned by Wheeler, he plays way faster than that. Wonder if he just got lazy.
  21. You gotta stop listening to Vic. He's got no sources left anymore, just bitter that the Bills cut him out.
  22. Baby Lewan just ran a 4.97 40-time. 1,71 10-split. Oh my Meanwhile Zach Banner moves like a man carrying a fridge on his back.
  23. Both McDowell and Thomas will vault Allen over the next few days. Allen is a great player in his own right but those guys are freaks.
  24. You pick in the top 10, you take an elite talent. I can make a great case for McDowell to be considered BPA when we pick. I get the needs elsewhere but Malik is an absolute stud. A lot depends on who's left but he's high on my list if he's there.
  25. Better passer than Tyrod. Weighs less than Cardale. Super Bowl! Universally known as 'Treadwelling it'. "Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline passes along "word" that Clemson WR Mike Williams will wait for the Tigers' Pro Day to run the forty-yard dash"
