I love this article and wish the media would focus more on positive news such as this. Kyle has been a true leader on and off the field and a complete class act. Hockey helmets are not even close to football helmets for concusion prevention. I have been playing for a very long time but I also have a good neurologist. The NHL should consider a similiar protocol as football for concusions. Aside from building character it also teaches them how to work with others in a team setting and is very beneficial for future employment

Still trying to figure out why we kept Boobie Dixon over Fred and Bryce. He has had 2 big special teams plays since coming here and that is it. Even if you rule out Fred for being 34 Bryce had far more upside potential than Dixon. I cannot forsee them cutting ties with Whaley either.
