  1. Anybody who doesn’t think beating a divisional opponent on the road isn’t important doesn’t realize Bills and Jets more likely gonna be battling for a WC spot. Tiebreakers will be important come December, gotta have as many advantages as you can in that criteria.
  2. Basically AB wanted to play with Derek Carr over Josh Allen listening to the conversation. Man, seems like AB thinks Allen as “trash” like Ramsey. Allen better hope with a huge prove it chip on his should this season to disprove the many skeptics still out there.
  3. The timing of the report, of this report came out a week or two before the AAF season I could believe it. This just seems like a PR spin by the AAF to keep the attention of their league. I doubt Kaepernick and AAF had any real discussions besides whether he was interested in playing in their league.
  4. Clear this story isn’t real, great for the AAF to keep some attention on them as they compete against NBA All-Star Weekend.
  5. That’s fair and that’s how I feel too, guess I wanted a compromising way to this current situation. Shame Anderson isn’t healthy enough to go still.
  6. Maybe, I’m just going off what McDermott said this morning. The fact he seemed hopeful that Allen might play tells they believe he’s close to ready to go. He basically also is finally given up on Peterman as well. We will see Sunday, I still think it’s Peterman but I wouldn’t shock me if Allen is active as well.
  7. I rather have Allen play in a blowout to get some reps in to slow get back from the injury and there no pressure in that scenario. Having him inactive is fine too. Rushing him back for a mealiness game before the bye week makes no sense to me. I rather start him post bye week when he has a full week of practice.
  8. I think Allen will be active as the backup to Peterman. If the game gets out of hand, Allen can get some game reps in the 2nd half in a blowout.
  9. Mr. Wawrow, I will explain in my opinion why they mishandled the situation. I get Tyrod’s contract was a big reason why he was traded away, but if the plan was to let Allen and learn this season than they needed to go after a better option than AJ McCarron. I know Teddy Bridgewater’s reps did not release his medicals, but I felt he was the best option available besides McCown and perhaps Bradford. I watched McCarron in 2015 with a talented Bengals roster and largely unimpressed especially in that playoff game vs Pittsburgh. His very average performance overshadowed by Burfict being Burfict, but I felt he cost them that game more than Burfict. To me the McCarron singled they hoped he would be a solid stopgap this season without any proof he would legitimately do it. Hopefully, this off-season they take having a good back-up QB with more importance.
  10. Picking Rex over Shanahan was another bad Pegula mistake
  11. I think it has more to do with the fact that signing Kaep would be a temporary move and the outrage if they cut him when Allen is healthy would cause a firestorm the organization doesn’t want and wouldn’t be able to handle. Beane/McDermott are already looking shaky as a tandem, they don’t need any more create any more fires they can’t handle
  12. BPA, trading down when you lack elite talent period is a foolhardy mission that bad franchises do (Browns). If it’s D-Line, O-Line, WR, TE, or LB, doesn’t matter, just pick the best player that can contribute right away.
  13. If the Bills are going to keep this Peterman facade, might as well hire his Pitt OC Matt Canada then lol
  14. McDermott should’ve never been hired in the 1st place. To go from Rex to McDermott, it shows how clueless the Pegulas are about building a modern NFL franchise. They really should’ve hired McVay, Shanahan, or a young, bright offensive mind in college. Hiring an conservative, meat and potatoes defensive coach like McDermott showed no progressive thinking whatsoever.
  15. Can’t be worse than Peterman, I can’t see any scenario Peterman being named as the starter. I think they will be run heavy and limit Anderson to 15-20 pass attempts.
  16. Trading back #1OP with one of the least talented rosters is foolish imo. Need premier talent and best way to do it is to pick it. Trading down isn’t the always the best way to build way, hell look all the talent Browns missed by trading back over the years
  17. Not getting Bridgewater or Bradford in the off-season when you have an unproven rookie QB and a barely replacement level QB in Peterman was organizational malpractice. Coupled with wasting all that draft capital on Edmunds and Allen with a depleted roster is not smart way to build a team imo, but we will see
  18. Really losing some belief in Beane/McDermott that they are working him out, seriously
  19. Take the BPA or Best QB left, Allen was neither
