Murray had a great season, but I feel like quite a few backs would have had a great season behind the line they had last year. There were times that the line simply dominated games for Dallas. DM would be 8 yds deep before being touched. Philly just isnt the place for him. Chip's offense calls for elusiveness, which isnt DMs strong suit. He was spoiled last year, IMO.

Not to mention a guy with a bad heart, on a play where he may have to fight for something.

The ball seems to be bouncing Carolinas way for sure. Ive watched a handful of their games this year and they make big plays at the right time. They also make zero mistakes, it seems. In the past, they've been a paper tiger and had the benefit of a weak schedule or division, but this year, theyre for real. I expect to see them representing the NFC in the super bowl this year.

Yeah, this will be a game where both offenses could look completely inept. Unless TT makes a commitment to getting the ball out fast, Sammy will be erased because Tyrod will be running for his life. If Woods remembers how to catch, he could have a game in the slot this week on slants and short crossing routes.

We took a small step forward. It just wasnt the giant leap that everyone was expecting. Lets not forget how incredibly bad Marrone and Hackett were last year. On to next year....maybe another year in the Ryan/Roman system will bring better results for players like Tyrod, Watkins, etc.

Count me in as someone who feels that the whole system needs an overhaul. The technology and money is there, Im confident in saying that. The challenge will be implementing it in all 31 stadiums, getting a consistent and simple rule book, and finding full time, professional refs who know the rules inside and out PLUS know how to utilize the technological part of it as well. 60yr old retirees arent cutting it anymore.

I feel like we've progressed from last season. Its more important to have a high powered offense and a decent defense than the other way around anymore. And Im not saying that we have a high powered O right now at all, but it seems to be trending that way if we can eventually put it together. Last season, nobody was mistaking that offense for one that could take over a game or make plays when they needed to.
