  1. You mean the 22 points & <300 yards offense & 1 TD (and intercepted Wilson 3 times) their first meeting? Yep an offensive juggernaut..... There I said it.
  2. I was looking for a thread (before starting one myself) about the bad lone play (pass blocking) and the drops. There were none and I wasn't going to root through threads to find comments on them.
  3. I apologize for looking at the game with a critical eye. He has dropped 6 passes. I wouldn't give him up for anything, but should I point out Justin Jefferson (who Minny drafted with the pick) has dropped only 2.
  4. Whoa...... I was just making a point in response to someone else's thread. Yes only 10 points allowed however ask any NE fan and they are not impressed with NE's offense Mac Jones play (though he played well vs. Minny). I know I have said it here before, listen to the ultimate Boston homer Bill Simmons (and the Ringer) and they scoff at NE's offense. BTW they scored 3 points on offense vs. NYJ.
  5. The Bills I thought were sloppy at times. They gutted out two time consuming drives (one a 14 play only 56 yard drive, which if a NE fan, would have been excruciating to watch). They had a TD called back, a strip fumble too and allowed a 2 yard pass go 45 for a TD. Add to that, the thread highlighted some bad blocking (which I seldom notice, so when I do it means it was obvious) and drops. Sorry only 24 points just is okay too.
  6. And you didn't see 5 drops or whiffed blocks during pass protection???? Defense played well, but forced no turnovers, only 1 sack and NE too shot themselves in the foot a few times too. Woohoo the Bills beat Mac Jones after big games vs. Goff & Brissett too.....
  7. Still was a drop. Yep it happens, but reminded me of the one vs. Minny, which to me cost them the game (would have been 1st down on the 40/45 yard line and then they need one more first down and the game is over). 3rd & 15 at BUF 23 (3:40 - 4th) (Shotgun) J.Allen pass incomplete deep left to S.Diggs (H.Smith).
  8. Way too many threads so two quick observations. I seldom pay close attention, but yesterday the pass blocking seemed terrible at times with the strip fumble being one of many whiffs yesterday (and a holding penalty that cost the Bills 7). Got to clean that up. And the Bills must have dropped 5 passes minimum last night (Knox, Singletary, Gabe & even Diggs). See both Davis & Diggs @ 6 drops (though Davis has a 10% drop rate). https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2022/receiving_advanced.htm Love Diggs, but there have been times I've seen him mistime some leaps and drop catchable balls. Yesterday a 20 yarder on 3rd down and one that was not talked about enough with 4 minutes to go vs. Minnesota on 3rd down the exact same type of pass that forced a punt and all contributed to the end of that game. Can't do that when games are on the line and as the playoffs approach.
  9. You'd have hoped after 24 hours he'd have figured it out.
  10. Well done eball, better then I predicted, 65 positive responses. Now I understand why anything at all critical of the Bills is met with such vitriol. And never question McD.🤣
  11. Check how many of my threads are called LAMP by certain people? This was tongue in cheek as a response to what is called a LAMP thread They were a fraud at 11-0, that was often discussed.
  12. The Bills have been badly out coached the second half since the bye week. The offense has/should have the talent to overcome it and the defense has been suspect. Sure they make adjustments, however the opposing teams make better ones. Again we all want the Bills to win and we can all agree that early in the season many were predicting a magical season and right now there is doubt. NE sorry should not be a scary game, but now is.
  13. No it is a LAMP post, as my threads too are called. If you are happy with the Bills and a fan of McD, you'll be all over these threads. If you have been meh or down about the coaching, you'll think different. And I don't disagree, but still the Bills have been off since the bye week. We all hope this is just a lull, but ever since the second half of GB, just has not been good.
  14. I was not commenting on the coaching, just how these type of threads are posted to elicit positive response. I think coaching has been so so..... I am unhappy with the defensive play calling and some decisions. Let's leave it at that. But the Bills are 8-3. NE will be a big test. No excuse to lose vs. them.
  15. Rogers has been mediocre and no receiving core this year and everyone knows when push comes to shove Cousins get's you nowhere (except vs. the Bills)
  16. So many people love these LAMP posts. Anything negative is shouted down and we'll see 50 agrees/likes on this one. Yes expectations are high. Can we all agree that the losses were all bad in a # of ways. The close win vs. Baltimore was a really bad start, weather affected and then slowly the Bills asserted themselves and a bad 4th down pick. The KC win, they were the better team. Now let's agree that injuries have had an affect on the Bills no doubt, but they too have not played well on either side and allowed b/c grade QBs to look way too good. ready for the vomit, eyeroll and disagree emojis.🤣
  17. Nothing I Hate more then celebrations on 1st or 2nd down, followed by that 3rd or 4th down conversion. The ills have faced a bunch of b/c grade qbs who have made plays vs this defence these past 5 weeks. 100% correct. A comedy of errors allowed KC to tie and easily walk down the field in ot.
  18. Near the goal line, Singletary is no "stud". My issue is no creativity of late, no screens, Knox barely involved and Allen looks somewhat neutered back there. At least he ran a bit more vs. Detroit, but still seems the offense just off.
  19. Instead of starting a LAMP thread, pretty much this is bang on. Very disappointed with this 8-3 team, which is a little funny when you think about it, but they are hard to watch ever since the KC game. Keep hoping that the next week the Bills turn it around. NE will be a test and while I think Allen will figure it out, the defense really concerns me.
  20. Just like Cleveland, NYJ and Minnesota. Excuses excuses excuses
  21. Wait the excuses are on the way. Don't care if they shut them put the rest of the way, Detroit moving up and down the field
  22. Accept he looked poised and confident vs. the Bills.... Just saying..... Were the Bills so scared of his passing that they defended the pass, allowing the Jets run for 175, and still allowed him to complete 72% of passes (mostly underneath)?
  23. There should be no night time game late November on in cold weather climates. Just non-sensical. Add to that only 3 warm weather/dome foes this year and all in September. Detroit could have been a late December game & NE the Thanksgiving game.
  24. I thought the rule here is you are not allowed to post anything negative about the Bills, yesterday a thread got mysteriously deleted that questioned the Bills, but this thread still is up. Must be the title is just ambiguous enough. Right now the Bills are in their mid-season lull (like last year). Three losses all year by a total of 8 points and shockingly all three times the Bills had the ball with a chance to win. Yes injuries, a defense that has been shaky and Allen just out of sorts the last little while. 7 games (and then the playoffs) to correct it.
