The point is haven't really seen a complete game from the Bills in quite a while. Hoping for them the next two weeks at home vs. two teams that beat them.
-
"Ooh ooh, Teef, did you see how I schooled Billsfan1972?"😝 And I don't come on every week all upset and complaining. The Bills I have said have been off since the bye week. Now when people talk about SB favourites, the Bills are mentioned, but they are no longer the prohibative favouries, which they were after the KC game. Maybe a a good thing, but yes they haven't been "running on all cylinders" and as opposed to Teef, I think it is important they do have a few blowouts before the playoffs.

Doesn't fit some people's narrative. They are a decent team, not great, a lot of flaws, but by no means bad. It was a good win as I said in the other thread. Not a great one. Am hoping for the Bills to roll through their last 5 games (Cincy won't be easy). BTW that's how a fan thinks (be positive, which I am prior to every game).
-
Grow up...... I start a thread or two, last one pointing out a concern I had watching the NE game and you get all upset and troll when I post. Yes I want to see the Bills return to the form they showed early in the season (and end of 2021 & the 13-3 2020 season too). Yes unrealistically I saw a team like the 2007 Pats (and some others did too). https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/schedule/_/name/ne/season/2007

Geez I said in another thread (that I started) that it was a good win. I also said I was concerned about OL blocking (yes primarily Quessenberry as he stood out like a sore thumb) and an inordinate amount of drops. I want as said for the Bills to assert themselves as they did at the end of 2021 and early this year (Miami game notwithstanding). Still in a post Bye funk and want to see Allen back to his old self.
-
They are 6-6..... Please stop that the Pats are such a good team. Mac is not a good QB right now. A nice win, but yes I'd like more points on offense. NE has one real quality win vs. Detroit (before they found their mojo/stride) and yes 2 vs. Wilson & the Jets, but others were Pitt, Colts & Browns..... Let's hope better vs. the Jets.
-
And you know that was all early in the season when the Bills destroyed Rams, Titans & Steelers..... I get it, but yes I want to see a dominating performance. Just been disjointed since the bye.
-
Huh? Joked that some will use the Miller injury as a defense. The thing is I'm so high on the Bills, that yes the fact games have been too close of late (or losses) has been a bother. Take a look at Philly destroying Tenn or Dallas vs Minny & that is what I expect from Buffalo. You are right on the fumble. To me that meant a veteran QB and better support for him and people to learn from. This was not a Superbowl contender and the worry with McD was on the offensive side of the ball. Over & done with and we are here now with Allen. I thought they could have accelerated the learning curve and had him doing some things earlier and a better offensive core. But all is good right now.
-
Well good thing he didn't learn from Peterman.....😆
-
Now the excuse is Von Miller. I still have faith that they will win it but excuses are lining up perfectly right now. It's not just his passing it's his legs that make the difference. Because we know someone will say Green Bay and I'd say put him in there and the threat of the run and let's see what happens.
-
Enough rehashing the Bills narrative from 2018. I will just say that McD had no patience or interest in the Offense his first 3 years. JMHO, let's leave it at that. Now you maybe okay with a first round loss this year, but others are not as these are heady times for Bills fans. I do expect the top seed and SB appearance. You seem not so bothered by it.
-
And there was no way the 1990 Bills should have lost the SB. And yes as big a fan I was of Marv, he bares a lot of the blame in that he didn't have the Bills prepared that week (way too much fun), the defense allowed too much underneath and allowed the Giants to control the ball and the last drive was like they were stuck in molasses and should have been a minimum 10 yards closer. The Bills did not have a starting QB that year. Let me repeat Peterman. Do you not understand what that means? I also have posted so many times that I thought they brought Allen along way too conservatively and had no pieces ready to help him (i.e. a veteran QB or WRs) in his rookie season.

I too want McD raising the Lombardi this year!!!! Hope that make Teef & Royale with Cheese happy......😝😉

Again I never have made a thing about the play. If anything it was OT and the Allen pick that to me really made no sense and still never clearly explained what happened there. To me the play seemed off and I was just mentioning more so the Tennessee snafu. Teef ignore this as I'm not debating the sneak. Edit I just watched the fumble and it appears Allen wasn't under center. How does that happen?
-
The QB sneak is the right play. Every good team and especially one with a QB like Allen you get to the line and snap immediately and go forward (take a look at Jalen Hurts and how simply they convert them). They didn't vs. Tenn and looked a little unprepared. Vs. Minny again if McD was so well prepared and has his team the same, it never happens. Again they looked lost on that play. I'm not blaming McD for Minny and that fumble, but for all those telling us how the Bills are so well coached and prepared, they blew it there. Live by the sword, die by the sword (those defending McD at all costs).

He chose Peterman. You can not defend Peterman. All credibility is lost when Peterman was named the starter. Alex Smith was a Pro-Bowl QB and a top 4 AFC team. Naming a rookie the Starter on a team coming off a 12-4 record was not gooing to happen. We've seen the same playing out in SF and the issues in GB. Once the Bills got rid of Tyrod & drafted Allen they should have been building an offense for him. I will say it again Peterman
-
No it is about Alex Smith (who made the Pro Bowl the prior and that year) on a playoff team, vs. Peterman already a proven disaster on a rebuilding team that was at the bottom of the league in offense.
-
Oh you mean the #7 pick, who actually was not the starter that season it was Peterman (except game one again he did Paterman things and they gave up after one half).... Too easy. And yes Alex Smith vs. Peterman is too a fair comparison.
-
Yes he made many so so decisions no doubt (and that includes last year's AFC Championship game). But he made the one important decision, naming Mahomes the starter in 2018.
-
Again regardless the OL was noticeably bad vs. NE and yes I acknowledged much was Quessenberry. And I can say the same about you, it doesn't matter, you've made up your mind.
-
That ultimately lies with the coach. Sorry never heard that confirmed and if ever a time for everyone to be on the same page it was with 13 seconds to go in the playoffs vs. Mahomes.
-
And if the Bills lose on Sunday, regardless of the situation, anyone posting negative here will be an IDIOT? I will say right now barring an Allen injury, absolutely no excuse to lose Sunday vs. NYJ. If they allow them again to have time consuming drives and convert third downs I'll be very upset. If they don't play with a chip on their shoulders the next two weeks (against the teams that beat them earlier this year) I'll be pissed. If they let them hang around and it is a tooth & nail affair I'll be concerned. I expect none of that, but if there are issues on the OL and more drops (i.e. 3-5 again) then I may start a thread.😝
-
This is a pro McD website, which is what I pointed out. I expect no different and yes your shorts are in a knot when anyone suggests McD isn't perfect. As for the above, that was as you know when I said there were OL issues vs. NE, which stuck out like a sore thumb watching the game and that the receivers dropped too many passes (which they did and was proven correct with 5 drops). The horrors!!!!!
-
How many times do I have to say he's grown on me? And yes there are plenty of McD apologists, just look at all the threads started praising him and the the positive reactions. And no not yet......😝 Nope I blame the kickoff on him too. Was the wrong call. Seen multiple times this year the positional or short kick (not to the 10-15, but high and short to the 5-10 yard line) take 5 seconds off and return short of the 25.
-
You say Potato, I say Potatoe. Rex took over a great D, made it worse and improved the O. McD turned it around again and had no idea what to do with the O and they were terrible for the first two years and particularly point differential. I've said McD has improved, time will tell if he get's to the top of the mountain which should be the goal this year (and for the next 5-7 too).
