Asked a question and again you try and turn it on me. And you happily absolve him (or say sh!t happens)? They were 9-7, quit pretending it was the greatest coaching feat ever. The prior year they were 7-7 and were eliminated in week 16 in OT (btw a last minute TD vs. Miami) and then Rex was fired and no one cared the following week. He did not turnaround a 4-12 team.
-
But can we all agree that vs. KC there were multiple errors and all McD (or him in collaboration with the coaching staff) needed to do was make one correct one and they win? Compound that with offering no defense during OT (which we continue to see too often with long drives and bend not break strategy that cost the Bills the Jets & Minny game).

That may be unfair. I have no idea as do the majority on this board. He has JA17 as we keep saying & no idea just how much he means. People keep going on about the Playoffs year 1, where he went 9-7 (following a 7-9) year and was heralded a hero, which he was not. I was very critical at just how much he ignored the offense and the issues I saw there. Will bang the drum again that he thought Peterman was a starting NFL QB. He is fine, makes some mistakes (and 13 seconds was unacceptable) and just hope that he isn't put in position this year to make them in the playoffs. This team was a pretty overwhelming favourite to win the PB at the beginning of the season and now are just one of 5 or 6 who can. Who is to blame for that?

And there we can agree. He's grown on me, but still a little way to go. I just admittedly am put off by the word "Culture"

So official (or at least according to this site) 5 drops week 13..... https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/advanced-stats-qb.php?team=BUF&range=week&week=13 So Allen has 27 drops (or 2/wk) & as a comp. Burrow 21 Manhomes 25 Jackson 26 Hurts 19 Brady 24 Rodgers 28 Carr 18 Herbert 27 Dallas 15 Tua 20 As said I just pointed out that Week 13 was a bad week for drops.

Josh Allen helping folks get out of debt.

Well I just read Tom Brady's (& Giselle's) charitable foundation gave out very little and some of the bigger sums were given to Yoga Studios... So yes I do care where Allen's goes and the amount. https://nypost.com/2022/11/17/tom-brady-and-gisele-bundchen-foundation-gave-less-than-1-of-their-worth-to-charity-from-2007-2019/ -
So if you don't follow and support McD blindly, you're an idiot?

Look this is a pro McD website, so if you want to make friends & influence people, come here and post about what he has done for the team & franchise and you'll have plenty of compliments & applause. He came to a team that continually struggled in mediocrity (always 7-9 to 9-7) and no playoff births. He started by working on the defense and decimating any vestiges of an offense the Bills had. He was too responsible for the great Peterman fiasco and others, yet somehow got them in the playoffs year one (again thankyou Andy Dalton) at 9-7 and did find a way to be competitive most weeks (though people forget all the duds and blowouts particularly in years one & two). He got a transcendental qb, and to me that has been the reason for the improvement in the team. What would be a 9-8 team (much like prior) is now a SB favourite thanks to Allen more so than anything else. People too forget he blew the Houston playoff game. So a cautionary tale is simply don't question McD as eball who posted a thread last week with 80+ likes and this one right now @ 37 positive (and 5 negative reactions), or else you will see thumbs down, disagree, eye roll and vomit emojies reacting to your posts.😉

Always love the McD luvfest!!!! As I asked is this Bills team and record about McD or is it about Allen?
-
Actually without Allen I see McD as a .500 Coach without Belichick's pedigree. But again he is growing on me and he may prove me wrong and I'll be happy when the Bills hoist the Lombardi. I know I complained about the lack of 300-yard games but I don't think I've had too many complaints about the close losses until last year and yes it was an issue. My biggest complaint was bungling up 13 seconds and yes that was about coaching 100%.

Actually it's all about context teef. I'm pretty sure I've discussed this before when it came up. If you want to consider back door covers one score games go ahead. I'm talking the Cleveland game this year or Miami and Oakland in 2020. Yes they beat the LA Rams two but gave up a 28-3 lead midway through the 4th in that one ( reminiscent of the Minnesota game). I've said McD has grown on me. Tell you what let's have this thought-provoking thread. Who would you rather have McD or Allen?

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - No Bills on Sunday Afternoon, No Problem
Billsfan1972 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
The way he catches & holds on to the ball is incredible. Again wouldn't give up Diggs and if the Bills didn't pick Jefferson, who was not a lock, this would be a completely different team too. What scared me yesterday was seeing how good the Cincy receivers were in catching the ball in tough situations. Outside Diggs, been a while since I remember a great catch or effort by a Bills receiver. -

Home field will be crucial. Big difference in Cincy, Minny & SF yesterday. -
Lamar Jackson leaves denver game with knee injury
Billsfan1972 replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Scary to think that's exactly what the Bills would look like should Allen get injured. -
He was in the process of falling to the ground in the end zone. Yes his feet were in the field of play but to me that should have been called a safety as the play if completed would have been a sack in the endzone. Should thie rule be changed (yes probably a 1 in 100,000 occurance).

Yes I am a glass-half-empty person especially when it comes to the Superbowl this year. Minimum the Bills have to be in it. If they aren't I can only imagine the glass-half-full contingent thanking McD for overcoming such obstacles this year and all the other praise that we will see. How about reading the Title of the thread. OL Pass blocking was terrible times vs. NE & Drops - But a comfortable win I called it a Comfortable Win. I guess that's not enough.

Long time ago and when the Bills were a real tough watch. No team in the modern NFL (last 20 years) accomplished that feat of 50 odd games. McD had no interest in offence those first three years. As said he's grown on me however that ineptitude with regards to throwing the football has not been matched by anyone. Let's not forget he put his faith in Nathan Peterman. And then double down as the starter the following year.😜 I was looking for a thread that addressed my observations, there were none, or comments embedded in other threads. Sorry you have an issue.

I love Diggs, but doesn't mean I can't be upset when he drops a pass (especially at a crucial time). Vs. Minny, the ultimate blame goes to Allen for the OT pick. No idea what he was thinking. However the drop late in the game was crucial (and uncharacteristic). Thanks for the support. Trust me, when I started the thread I thought it was pretty mundane. As you can see some people turned it into a number of other things, that yes I've bitten on and then debated, but the thread was about the OL and Drops. Yes I was looking for attention saying the OL was bad and too many drops on a fan site discussing the Bills and the game. Talk about thin skinned.😡
