We have ten wins this season and possibly 11. Been in every game and have turned the corner in year 3. We are set up for sustainable future success. It’s been such a fun season to enjoy for a change from the past 20 years. The only negativity has come from this board about our second year quarterback week in and week out. Our qb has 27 Total td to 9 ints. He is on the path to have a lot of success in this league. Most of us objective fans have no problem criticizing when warranted and we will. But again we realize this is year 2 and expect to see even more improvement next year. It sucks some of you haven’t been able to enjoy this season and only come to chat when we lose, never hear a peep during a win..

A chance to go back to Nashville? We had a lot of fun there and was a quick flight down! -
What do you make of the lack of defensive pressure? Do you think it was game plan? Like clearly Brady this season has not been good when pressured. It really frustrates me that we just let him sit back. I also agree that Tre should have taken Edelman all day. The other wr’s like Harry etc have really shown nothing all season. Do you think we had some carryover fatigue from Pittsburgh?

I agree with you. We did play the Cowboys really good and our game plan was a thing of beauty against the Ravens. We really did a great job on Lamar. All I’m saying it’s that I can’t pin this all on Josh. He made two Incredible throws to get us the points we did. In time we will see if he can correct the issues that plague him. The fact that he had no ints against a defense that creates many and usually scores points on those turnovers is positive in my mind. I’m honestly most disappointed from a pure game plan aspect. I don’t like anything we did against them offensively. The pats are not a good offense. Brady is not what he used to be and I question why Taron Johnson is one on one with Edelman. We made life to easy for him. I’m bummed because I thought today was the day. I do think they will be ready to go in wildcard!

This is a Team loss

I agree completely with you. I thought we would come after him, try to hit him as much as possible. Tom is not the same player as years ago with pressure on him. -

I agree, I just get tired of josh threads lol -
Ok But you just mentioned we were squeaking out wins against bad teams. So is our d that good? or is because we have played bad teams? I like our D But today We got killed in time of possession we gave up over 400 yards to an offense that for the past number of weeks has been dreadful. We got no pressure on Brady and had them pinned on the one yard line. It was not A Good day for the d. What stops our d from Being elite is lack of turnovers against good offenses. I’m not excusing Josh play but the pin it one guy over and over is just crazy. Also considering how he played the first time against the pats. It was an improvement

Who out there is franchise? Your looking for a hall of famer. Most franchise in the past twenty years haven’t sniffed a hall of famer. Deshawn Watson doesn’t look great every game. Other than Mahomes who do you want? and I disagree I think Josh has won us a lot of games this season and our defense has come up average in others. there is no way we should make the 2019 pats look like 2001.

This was a team loss. We needed better coaching. We needed a better gamelan. We needed better qb play, offensive line play. Defensive Side of the ball play. But we still had a chance. We are tough, but more often than not we outsmart ourselves and out executed today. Every position from coaches onto the players need to get better. Wild card in two weeks!

I doubt a guy who’s putting up like 27 tds gets benched. His second season has been a huge improvement. That second td thrown today is the kind of play that I love and can come at any time. His effort is undeniable. His work ethic will take him far. Some say we are wasting our defense.our d got manhandled today even if we held them to field goals at time.

My issue with this Line of thinking is that’s it’s not really realistic because this is the team we have decided to build. Any team can say that a top ten qb on their roster may take them to the next level especially ours. But why? because our defense is top of the league. Maybe if the d we saw in Pittsburgh showed up today. But again, I don’t look at what if..we can only control our future with the players we have right now. We are rolling with Josh who has had a big part of our record being what it is. I’m fine with that. we have to remember this is only year two. I think many including myself are jumping the gun on expectations. We have had a great season regardless. But the closer you get to the dance, the more we expect from our team. I expected a much better performance from the entire team today. We got beat in the trenches and killed In time of possession. We had them backed up at the one yard line. No way should we be allowing them To gain much more than a first down. We would probably agree on this with our penetrating d line, and shutdown corner? ill say it again. I was more disappointed that we didn’t match the intensity physically and I didn’t understand a lot of the game plan.

In my opinion that’s the wrong defense to play on Brady at this point in his career. He is not great with pressure up the middle and we should be daring him to make plays with his arm. allowing him to sit back and throw His dink and dunk has just become tiresome. however with that being said I thought we would own the lime of scrimmage..
-
I agree and this is the team we have Built and are building for the future. We are getting better but I was feeling we were ready take a next step today. Close but not good enough. I am just confused with the game plan.I’m confused with any team that lets Edelman beat you. Even the announcers that I was listening to on the radio were like the pats even would double team their own guy. I didn’t expect for Josh to play lights out. He made some huge throws And runs to give us a chance. But his first half was atrocious. We need a full game from him against a top team. He has to be a lot better. I wish we would try to establish a Rhythm with him early, but our opening drive we run like seven straight plays and then throw on a 3rd and long. Josh needs to get it going early . But our d has to be better. Maybe that’s why I’m disappointed. I thought we Would get after and pound Brady. Make him think twice but far to often he could sit back there and pick us apart. To me this is a total team loss on all sides of the ball up to coaching. We need to figure this garbage out. We have two weeks.
-
Yeah I just don’t get at. We have mean nasty young players who should be hungry. We sit back and let Brady make plays all day. Every game I have watched the pats the last few weeks he has sucked with pressure in his face. How long did it take to double Edelman. Why are we not taking him out of the game from first snap.

Other Saturday Games - NFLN Tripleheader

Yeah your right. I think we would rattle Tannehill more than Watson. I worry more about D. Henry and their defense. It would be a tough close game. Not to say Houston won’t be but I have this feeling it would be a more open game with a bit more offense. -

Josh: How sad, way over the hill. Tom: To be 22 years younger again.. -
Sorry if posted somewhere else but here is a summary. After the game, just reflecting on being happy to get the W. A sense of relief but they are not satisfied to just make the playoffs. The next goal is to head into NE and force their hand a bit with a shot at the Division Title His first experience in Pittsburgh, an intimidation factor for sure with the terrible towel, the victory was no easy task . Tyler showed up clutch speaks volumes as to how hard he has been working to get back in. Next man up, playing for each other personifies this team Relationship with John Brown- Story about when he over threw John in the Giants game, Allen said he owed him one and John was like, "don't worry about it, we are winning the game".. Deserves to be a Pro Bowler, Never complains. Cole Beasley is a quarterback at the WR position. Does amazing things with his cuts, works extremely hard. Josh was asked on how he characterizes his second season-doing what needs to be done for this team right now. But still learning and growing. Wish he had a lot of throws back from NE. Not where he wants to be or needs to be but learning each and every week. The offense has been able to learn from each other since week 4 of whats working and what's not. Coach Daboll watches more film then anyone he knows. His relationship with Daboll is still growing. He's very open minded from feedback from players to try new things. Playing for MCD- Only second year in league so has no one else to compare from. But from what other players have told him, the feeling is different. All starts at the top with a team family approach first. Challenge against a Belichick defense. Not getting caught up in the moment of playing Brady, Belichick. He needs to follow his rules, make some completions, executing on his terms. Not putting the ball in harms way. Airport Bills fans going nuts-like being in a movie or Rockstars in a band. Bills Mafia support means so much to the players. He will jump through a table if the Bills Mafia asks lol Mod edit: adding link https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-adam-schein-podcast/id1478809778 Allen is at 13:16

This is a pretty important game in my mind. Someone earlier mentioned it but a win in NE for our team would mean more than just a W. It would be an emotional lift, monkey off our back message that the changing of the guard is happening. It also forces the Pats to play their starters week 17 with the division in play. I like where we are as a team. We are confident, have some swagger that we can play and win on the road. I hope our guys on defense physically abuse Tom this week and further send him into a shell back there. We have a nasty d line and I hope we play as nasty as they did in Pitt and Tennessee. Our offense seems to be in a much better place than it was since we met first time. This is our time. Let’s do this!

I get a lot of Boston coverage where I live. His press conferences are pretty much always like this. I don’t think he wants to give the media the time of day. It’s also weird because he does a show called All access I believe with Scott Zolak. And he talks up Football like you wouldn’t believe. It’s pretty impressive and insightful. Just the two of them together and for this week as an example they would illustrate a bunch of our plays and what their team has to prepare for.
