  1. Great post. 2 questions: Do the targets Mack Hollins or Keon have been seeing go to Cooper or some from both? Do we also see better success vertically? You need that verticality to an offense, especially if you want to “unlock the potential” of Kincaid and the middle/underneath of the field. To your point though, I think Cooper is of that pedigree. The only difference is super bowls. Von has 2 because of the acquisition of established QBs to his respective teams (Peyton in Denver. Stanford in LA). The 2nd one he kind of fell into via trade also? Cooper is: 65th all time in Receptions. 63rd all time in yards. 84th all time in receiving TDs. That’s top end pedigree. Surely? Looking back at Adams vs. Cooper, Davante clearly has the better stats. He’s also, like several people have pointed out, had a legit HOF QB throwing him the ball most of his career.
  2. So did you find it?
  3. Safety is all about partnerships. You need a solid guy in the other role. His rookie year showed he has the talent to be a starter in the league. His final 2 years in LA were solid too. His best years came with: Eric Weddle in 2019 Jordan Fuller in 2021 Nick Scott in 2022 Ironically for us, the latter 2 partners he had are both in Carolina right now lol Before going out injured, he also had John Johnson in 2020 who turned in a pretty good season. He’s actually always been a solid starter imo. Not great, not awful. Decent. That play I posted in another thread. He tries to shoot the gap that Bernard and Dorian are headed for. I saw tries because if you watch it he trips himself on the engaged teammate, gets clogged up in the play, stopping Bernard (who also played this exact snap poorly) from filling in the hole where, had he continued outside would have forced Hall back to. Running in sand is accurate and I think more often than not why he hesitates or tries to cheat on a decision.
  4. Actually got a proper laugh out loud and not a chuckle to this comment. I don’t know why.
  5. You’re right. Best we save him for fake punts in the crucial moments rather than chase a guy who has 30lbs on him.
  6. Nice to meet you Debbie. How long have you been a Bills fan?
  7. Great stadium. Up there with SoFi and Cowboys stadium in terms of luxury. Makes sense to host a SB there. Shame it’s in Atlanta though 😂
  8. Yeah, dude has had only 2 seasons under 1k: 2017: 48-680-7, traded after 6 games the next year. 2021: 68-865-8, CeeDee took over the #1. Was traded the following season.
  9. Diving into Cooper, he’s actually done pretty decent in the playoffs with the exception of one game. That one game I give as pass as it was Connor Cook @ QB.
  10. I was hoping for the lint and dirty coins in my pocket. 😔
  11. Did you call you son Amari or Cooper? Seems fitting given the timing. Congrats to the blessing on your family!
  12. Read an article yesterday that the Browns should trade Garrett, Cooper and even Denzel Ward so they can build a roster that isn’t capped by the other high salary guys outside Watson; seeing as they are clearly sticking with him.
  13. Presumably the same as Adams, just not picking up a gaudy salary.
  14. well, I’m curious if they are close and a weekly if not daily part of his life, is he actively working on this in and outside the team?
  15. Are these sources close to the team or from within the franchise itself?
  16. I was hoping for Sutton last year when the Juedy trade hype was going around. Actually, thinking about it, both were apparently on the market? They just wanted too rich a pick for Sutton. He unfortunately isn’t getting traded. In multiple threads that mention him, people say that Denver are in the playoff mix right now and won’t trade away their only proven guy for Nix to throw to. Got to agree with both points. That gif doesn’t do it justice. He’s slowing down and running into the back of 66 when Toohill still has the RB standing up? Its about the angle he’s taking, if he breaks out of that tackle he cuts it to his left, away from Dorian which leaves him free as Damar is in the back of the OL lol
  17. Yeah, I think that is the biggest scam ever. I know why they do it; so you aren’t a bar or establishment and paying a cheaper fee to show games. I have an android phone and haven’t found a product that works as well as the one I use for my wife’s iPad. It’s a digital AV adapter that connects to the charging port. You plug an HDMI and hook it up to your tv and it broadcasts the screen without it rendering it as screen mirroring / airplay edit: This is what we have
  18. First one, play isn’t even over when he’s running into the back of 66. second, yes. Him and Taron are pretty much shoulder to shoulder before he decides to shoot the gap which is weird, cause if you watch the play Bernard has that assignment; he, again, took an awful angle but would be there to clean up had Hall be forced back from sideline. terrible from both Bernard and Hamlin there, more so Hamlin as the flow dictates him to go out and allow the other backers in Bernard and Williams to go through the wash. Third ones you’re right. That happens all the time. Was just to highlight the extend of poor decisions made throughout that drive by one player. You’re right about the trade, that isn’t going to happen. It’s either Bishop or Edwards if not Damar. Why is Edwards a healthy scratch on game day? Bishop statement is on point. The guy looks incredibly raw and next year is likely his time. Do wonder how much of that is the partnership he had though; Hamlin. Bullock (Houston) and Kinchens (Chargers) seem to be the only rookies at that position who are getting playing time, and succeeding. Cooper DeJean is a surprise, as is Bishop. Again that is probably down to partnership as much as being raw when they see the field. Hamlin has looked decent when paired with the likes of Poyer and Hyde. Last night Rapp and Johnson did him a lot of favors.
  19. Hmmm. That’s weird I thought they were still close? Thats what was reported last year when he tore his Achilles 4 plays into the season? McCarthy and him were “close friends”?
  20. Yeah, I’m not knocking you for seeing something different. I just didn’t see anything that resembled fine. He made a few plays but that’s going to happen when you’re on the field for 63 plays. The law of averages. It’s what he does the rest of the time. The guy is now down and around the box now that Rapp is back, which is where he is suited, and is just awful at his pursuit and angles. Multiple times he takes himself and a teammate out of the play. First play he has a clear angle to go anywhere that play is happening. Instead he runs directly into the back of a jets OL disengaging. That second play, the Hall run, he doesn’t take away the sideline immediately and force Hall back in. He instead trips himself on a teammate getting blocked then gets swallowed up that stop Bernard, who himself took a poor angle and stumbled on that play, from filling the hole. If he goes immediately sideline Hall is caught for a minimal gain. Third play is absolute PI. Where the flag wasn’t even thrown. (Wouldn’t have mattered as the bal was tipped). Those, again, were all on one drive. He had multiple bone headed moments out of the 60+ snaps on the field. At least you realize he needs to be out of the lineup lol
  21. Someone said he played “fine” last night. 😳
  22. Easy, easy. Next year. In all seriousness, if McCarthy gets canned he might end up there if Rodgers returns.
  23. Might take time but I bought into the “phone booth” speed. His measurables for winning in the short game were elite yet, more often than not, the db is on his hip. You’re right though, it seems the majority of the balls that go his way are 50/50. Not exactly the ideal usage of your first round pick
