Huh? Where did you get that from? There wasn’t a single moment I said he was bad last week or even that anyone else said that. He’s been heavily critiqued in statements I’ve heard/read irl and on this forum. That was the bad wrap he gets was my point. I’ve always liked Rapp even from his Rams days. He proved his rookie year he has a place in the pros. I’ve never alluded otherwise in conversation or a post on here. Was actually happy that he was a potential successor to Poyer/Hyde for the exact reason you like the guy; he’s willing to be physical and on that fine line of reckless and threatening.

This might sound weird but I think of Manning plays Texas win due to the mobility he brings. Ewers is not a runner at all. Georgia win for the exact reason you said, Texas haven’t seen a challenge. Michigan aren’t what they were the last few years and Oklahoma are a fringe ranking team at best right now. Bulldogs blew the brakes off Clemson, played a decent Kentucky team that caused both them and Ole Miss problems and then obviously lost narrowly to Bama.

Been reported many times that Hallam himself and Andrew Berry signed off on the trade for Watson. Berry, as a GM, probably wanted it but not to the magnitude of what they had to give up. Haslam didn’t care; the contract alone should tell you that much. They thought they were going to get the last football Watson played before the year out: 70.2% completion 4823 yards 33 tds 7 ints 444 rushing yards 3 tds they didn’t. Didn’t even get the 2018 or 2019 version of Watson. Absolutely fitting after his crimes that his career downward spirals into garbage. Sad that he got all of that money guaranteed.
