You are absolutely right. I don’t ever think there will be another one. Not after getting his face broken by Eric Smith and then only missing 2 games. Dude had what? 7 plates and 40 screws in his face then went back into contact play. Absurd.

Yeah, sucks even more when half the board pegged him to be the most acquirable WR after MHJ/Nabers/Odunze. Dude looks like the total package. If his route running continually improves then that 1300 a year should be an easy feat.

A bit old as it doesn’t include the games played this season: 21-35 24-40-1 85.4 84.7 14,148 15,933 66/42 68/44 6.8 6.5 63.5% 64.0% The above is their stats for the career, Daniel Jones has played 9 more games but it’s evident that the tweet is on point with the two of them being of the same caliber.

On the money. Jags really might be the worst team in the league.

Week 7 - Titans at Bills Game Week Thread
Sojourner replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Huh? Where did you get that from? There wasn’t a single moment I said he was bad last week or even that anyone else said that. He’s been heavily critiqued in statements I’ve heard/read irl and on this forum. That was the bad wrap he gets was my point. I’ve always liked Rapp even from his Rams days. He proved his rookie year he has a place in the pros. I’ve never alluded otherwise in conversation or a post on here. Was actually happy that he was a potential successor to Poyer/Hyde for the exact reason you like the guy; he’s willing to be physical and on that fine line of reckless and threatening. -
Week 7 - Titans at Bills Game Week Thread

I know he gets a bad Rapp for having some boneheaded plays but I honestly don’t think he’s as bad as some make out. Like you’ve alluded to the pairing is the problem. 2 guys who are best suited at roaming around the box or LOS. He got my respect at the end of last season when he got the game sealing INT against the Dolphins that put us as the #2 seed instead of Miami. -
Mizzou and LSU is tough. Mercer as the third game in a row might be tough if they go on a roll their next 3 games coming into Bama. They’d be 9-1. You think the committee give them an essential pass for dropping the Vanderbilt game? I didn’t think they would until they beat Kentucky last week. If they put up a fight against Texas when that game rolls around, maybe. They shouldn’t though. Not when they’ve held losses against teams who dropped to vastly better teams in the history of poll ranking. Said in another post, DeBoer is done there unless he goes 5-0 to end the season. Jalen Mil…Noooo!

This might sound weird but I think of Manning plays Texas win due to the mobility he brings. Ewers is not a runner at all. Georgia win for the exact reason you said, Texas haven’t seen a challenge. Michigan aren’t what they were the last few years and Oklahoma are a fringe ranking team at best right now. Bulldogs blew the brakes off Clemson, played a decent Kentucky team that caused both them and Ole Miss problems and then obviously lost narrowly to Bama.

Bama/Tennessee a good watch so far!

What exactly is the real story with Mike Edwards?

Damn. That’s all it takes to win 2 super bowls? Sign me up Doc’! -
Man, how quick FSU have hit the gutter.

My prediction is we’ll still hear some of this: Even though the Chiefs/9ers is the afternoon slot.

Oh I’m with you brother. That’s why I stuck with it that long. Boston/Virginia Tech it is now

Im walking away from this game… Surprised I’ve even watched this much.

Dude has barely played the previous 2 seasons and is injured again. Hard pass.

Talk is they are expected to trade both Simmons and Hopkins. Would be rough to pay 2 DTs, him and Oliver, what their contracts state. Irony is you could have had either Simmons or Wilkins instead of Ed. You know what. I don’t even want to think about that draft. I know there’s “we could have had this player or that” but legit every pick someone of quality that we needed went after the guy we selected who was the same position or one of bigger importance. Oliver is ok. As is Knox. But man… 😑

AFC Rankings At This Moment October Edition
Sojourner replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
Been reported many times that Hallam himself and Andrew Berry signed off on the trade for Watson. Berry, as a GM, probably wanted it but not to the magnitude of what they had to give up. Haslam didn’t care; the contract alone should tell you that much. They thought they were going to get the last football Watson played before the year out: 70.2% completion 4823 yards 33 tds 7 ints 444 rushing yards 3 tds they didn’t. Didn’t even get the 2018 or 2019 version of Watson. Absolutely fitting after his crimes that his career downward spirals into garbage. Sad that he got all of that money guaranteed. -
So what, in terms of right now, do the Bills need an upgrade on? DB? Pass Rusher? Like most teams, they’ll monitor positions they want and see who’s being made available. Can’t see it being another high draft pick. Maybe a later rounder and a player swap? Either way, I liked Beane’s answer about “as long as Josh is out QB we’re all in”.

Von Miller outlook implications from the Cooper trade
Sojourner replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, we may lay an egg somewhere. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s like you suggest but disagree in the Colts. Even then, are they that bad a team? I don’t think so. Their QB is talented but plays extremely streaky in games. Might even be one of the remaining games against the Pats. There’s always a folly or close call in one of the games each year. 11-6 would be decent with the way things shaped up so far. 13-4 isn’t unreasonable either. 15-2 would be the best. 🤞
