What exactly is the real story with Mike Edwards?

Damn. That’s all it takes to win 2 super bowls? Sign me up Doc’! -
Man, how quick FSU have hit the gutter.

My prediction is we’ll still hear some of this: Even though the Chiefs/9ers is the afternoon slot.

Oh I’m with you brother. That’s why I stuck with it that long. Boston/Virginia Tech it is now

Dude has barely played the previous 2 seasons and is injured again. Hard pass.

Talk is they are expected to trade both Simmons and Hopkins. Would be rough to pay 2 DTs, him and Oliver, what their contracts state. Irony is you could have had either Simmons or Wilkins instead of Ed. You know what. I don’t even want to think about that draft. I know there’s “we could have had this player or that” but legit every pick someone of quality that we needed went after the guy we selected who was the same position or one of bigger importance. Oliver is ok. As is Knox. But man… 😑

AFC Rankings At This Moment October Edition
Sojourner replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
Been reported many times that Hallam himself and Andrew Berry signed off on the trade for Watson. Berry, as a GM, probably wanted it but not to the magnitude of what they had to give up. Haslam didn’t care; the contract alone should tell you that much. They thought they were going to get the last football Watson played before the year out: 70.2% completion 4823 yards 33 tds 7 ints 444 rushing yards 3 tds they didn’t. Didn’t even get the 2018 or 2019 version of Watson. Absolutely fitting after his crimes that his career downward spirals into garbage. Sad that he got all of that money guaranteed. -
So what, in terms of right now, do the Bills need an upgrade on? DB? Pass Rusher? Like most teams, they’ll monitor positions they want and see who’s being made available. Can’t see it being another high draft pick. Maybe a later rounder and a player swap? Either way, I liked Beane’s answer about “as long as Josh is out QB we’re all in”.

Von Miller outlook implications from the Cooper trade
Sojourner replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, we may lay an egg somewhere. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s like you suggest but disagree in the Colts. Even then, are they that bad a team? I don’t think so. Their QB is talented but plays extremely streaky in games. Might even be one of the remaining games against the Pats. There’s always a folly or close call in one of the games each year. 11-6 would be decent with the way things shaped up so far. 13-4 isn’t unreasonable either. 15-2 would be the best. 🤞 -

What are the numbers if you remove the atrocity that was Baltimore? -
Top four NFL teams in point differential are the NFC north teams

That Chicago and Minny defenses are legit. Lions were prior to the Hutchinson tragedy. Packers back end is a wicked combo. McKinney was an insane signing and they look to have struck gold in Bullard who unfortunately went 2 picks before we took Bishop @ 60. All their defenses are forcing turnovers which their offenses are capitalizing on. great complimentary football in the whole division -
Who was talking about how long Josh and Cooper get on the same page? His point was Brady, essentially, not having a clue as to how to use Cooper yet. “It seems to me it will take Brady a while to look up Amairi's film and fit him totally in. Not sure what the WR roles will be once that happens.” To which, there has to be someone doing tape on guys they want to trade for. “I'm not sure there is time for that during the season. IMO.” “I meant that IMO to fit him into the #1 role with the other WRs and their new roles, is not going to happen overnight. I still think that.“ Whether it takes a day, a month or the whole season to click with Josh was never the conversation. Again, if there is hours of film and 8000+ snaps in there of one player and you don’t have an idea of how you’re going to use him then GTFOH.

Fair, I thought the same thing for the most part. I’m very intrigued as to what we do in the passing game around the goal line. That’s really been the best part of Hollins’ game. Do they just remove him completely andhope Coleman makes it work or split that look against zero between the 2? I’m not so confident that the drop was a better chance for Keon… he’s had some absolute bread basket balls go through his hands. Yeah, I agree. He’s not HOF but he’s not far off that pedigree imo. He’ll still win his fair share of moments that are critical. The outside/deep threat is what we lacked sorely, shame MVS didn’t show up. Think this is good things all around for the offense. Thanks for the share

Plenty of time. They employ 700+. I can guarantee you that any team worth their salt pulls a scout or a film guy to collect as much tape as they can on a guy they are targeting via a trade. Every team collects and breaks down their opponents every single week for tendencies, matchups and tells they can capitalize on. Theres no way they don’t allocate resources that actively help facilitate bettering their team in the moment. Or maybe I’m just a batsht crazy moron. Probably the latter.
