  1. Steelers last three games they were averaging 13 ppg on offense. Bengals gave up 17 to them last night. More than their average. Hendricksen wrecked havoc. Bills offensive strength outside of Allen has been o-line and pass protection.
  2. Chargers vs. Texans I really want a Bills primetime WC game. Last one was the perfect game against the Pats.
  3. Did Allen win the MVP last year? Not only did he not win it, the vote was 49-1 in favor of Lamar. Precedent has been set. Allen also took the team to the 2 seed. Joe Burrow is hoping to take his team to the 7 seed if they get help. Bills didn't need any help going into the final weekend. I agree. MVP does not need a clear definition. I'm always confused by people that complain that it is not clearly defined. We all know the components that make up an MVP. Then it is up to the voters to sort out how those various components are weighted for that particular year.
  4. Yes. But everyone else is pointing out that they only lead Allen in one category, stats. Allen leads in all the other categories that define an MVP outside of stats and that is why he is going to win. And it's not like Allen's stats are average. He's not having an average year like say a Mahomes. Bringing up guys like Tua and Dak don't make a sound argument in your favor. Sure they are both valuable to their team. But their stats are poor this year due to both missing so many games and not playing at a high level. Allen and the Bills will potentially become the first QB/team to beat a 16 win and 15 win team in the regular season.
  5. And Milton has a huge day so they go into next season with a very short lease on Drake Maye. They will be all screwed up organizationally.
  6. So I guess not just anyone can convert tush pushes? There goes the argument for discounting Allen's tush push TD's.
  7. It was four times. The problem is two of them were fumbles. One by Josh and one by a RB. Really can't ever put fumbles on the OC. Sure, sometimes INT's can go onto poor play design or calls. But fumbles blamed to the OC? One of the INT's went through Davis hands. Don't believe we can attribute that to the OC either. The one that could possibly be on the OC (still an assumption) would be the one right before the half. Think it was an out route and just terrible read by Allen.
  8. It's the first time ever Lamar has thrown for 4,000 yards in his career and he needed a 17th game to do so. That is supposed to be celebrated?
  9. Because that one game (again, not denying Dorsey was sub par in many games leading up to the Denver game) Dorsey was probably near last on the list of "who do we blame for this loss?" Good move, really bad timing in terms of firing the guy after that game as opposed to just firing him the week before. Dorsey didn't do anything that game to lose himself the job. It was the weeks leading up to that game that put the Bills in a situation record wise where a change had to be made. It reminded me of Rex firing Roman after his defense gave up over 30 points to the Jets in a prime time game in like week2.
  10. I don't disagree a change was good. But the timing was ridiculous. The Bills offense was moving the ball against Denver all game. The players just made boneheaded turnovers, Rb's fumbling, WR letting balls go through their hands for INT's. Allen loose with the ball for a fumble. Dorsey called a fine game. A game that should have had them scoring 30+ points if the Bills just had two turnovers on the game instead of four. Bills offense even engineered a go ahead score with 2 minutes left. Then McD defense lets he Broncos go down the field for a game winning FG that they miss. Only to get called for 12 men on the field and then lose on the second FG attempt. McD had to fire someone after that game. It was just kind of ironic that Dorsey who did need to be let go, actually called a game that didn't warrant a firing.
  11. Think it would be 2020. Which also happens to be the last year Allen caught a regular season TD pass (against Arizona). Makes sense that the record would be set in a year the QB accounts for a receiving TD.
  12. Except Allen did the same thing in the Lions game after what should have been TD # 5 on the game. But a hold call they never showed called the play back.
  13. Agree regarding why Purdy, and even Dak to a lesser extent were never in the MVP conversation last year after the Ravens beat the 49ers late in the year. I don't agree with all of those saying Lamar cannot win a 3rd MVP before he starts winning Super Bowls or starts playing better in the playoffs.
  14. Both can be true. Firing Dorsey at that specific moment did appear to be scapegoating. And Joe Brady certainly has gone on to be a better OC for the team.
  15. MVP is not a purely stats award. Sure you easily can make the case Allen is not top 3 if you go purely by stats. But the problem the other two QB's and even Saquan have is that none of them lead in the other meaningful categories over Allen that have always factored into MVP: team record, roster weakness (players perceived value to team), and historically defining moments and games. Jim Nantz "play of the year" on Allen's 4th and 2 TD run still holds true at the end of the season barring something crazy happening in the Vikings/Lions game. Josh's historic 4 game run beating the two touted best teams in the league is what put this team in the position to sit players this week. Allen has been the MVP favorite since "the play of the year". He's been MVP favorite more because of historic moment and value and nothing has changed that as the weeks and games have gone. When it comes strictly to stats, that is what 1st team all pro and offensive player of the year awards are for.
  16. He'll be on Joe Brady's staff next year. QB coach.
  17. why just straight women though?
  18. what kind of argument is that? make me the backup QB in Philly. We would have to proclaim Hurts the most valuable player even with Saquan on the team.
  19. Non of a, b,c are true. Dawkins IS the OT. By definition he can't be more than two yards outside the offensive tackle.
  20. Nick Wright has been one of the biggest bills in Allen supporters in the media this year. And from game one really.
  21. I want Bengals, Ravens, Chiefs, Rams in that order. Ultimate revenge tour.
  22. I actually don’t think Mike Florio is too far off. How else do we explain Lamar Jackson receiving 49 out of 50 1st place votes last year? The lone voter who did not vote for Lamar cast his first place vote for Josh Allen. I recall he received a lot of heat from other media members because of that.
  23. I actually think there is a decent chance Allen wins MVP and doesn't even get named a pro bowler for the AFC which will be funny as hell and should basically officially put a nail in the coffin of any relevance the "award" used to have. I guess Burrow is the leading vote getter for the AFC at QB. Jackson will likely get voted in as well. And will Mahomes really be left out even with the down season? I know it is a third fan, player and coach vote. But I just wouldn't be shocked at all if Allen is left off the roster.
  24. That has been one of Nick Wright's ( i know) criticisms of Lamar. He's one of the only top QB's in the league where the narrative seems to be that the Ravens are better off taking the ball out of his hands more to win big games. Imagine saying Allen and Mahomes need to take the ball out of their hands more for the team to win.
