  1. The evidence is piling up for a whole lot of criminal activity. I dont know if they'll be able to prove things like seditious conspiracy, but if Trump is barred from office and doing 8-15 for wire fraud...Well Ron DeSantis will thank congressional democrats for the nomination.
  2. Right? Well this should be interesting. ...But the ***** infuriating thing is that if all the stolen election stuff was false, then January 6th should never have happened. If it was all false, the January 6th was about sour grapes and sore losers AT BEST. ***** grown ass men and women should have learned to handle in elementary school.
  3. So everything about the election being stolen was false. Trump then bilked his supporters out of $250 million that went straight into his own pocket. Then he paid his son's fiance $60,000 for three minutes of work. That's about where we're at so far? Man, Joel Osteen should be taking notes.
  4. This is the guy that Miami chased for almost three years. No wonder they didn't bat an eyelash at Tyreek Hill.
  5. It brought a chuckle to my day. BTW, if there are any Browns fans lurking here, feel free to come on up the I-90. The water's fine.
  6. It really doesn't concern you that the last time Europe got its economic and military ***** together, European countries conquered 80% of the world in about 200 years? That just *maybe* it's ok for them to freeload a bit on our dime so they *don't* reform, remilitarize and produce a new superpower for us to worry about?
  7. What's the bombshell? The Pentagon called Russian moves around Kyiv a repositioning, not a withdrawal, and said so back in March. They even said those forces were going to the Donbass. AP, Reuters, Forbes, ABC, all were saying that the Russians were pulling back so they could head over to the Donbass. Nobody was saying that the Russians were withdrawing because of Ukrainian pressure. This guy is screaming out an answer to a question nobody asked. But yeah, there is always propaganda in war. Like the whole crowd who thought the attack on Kyiv was just a feint, that 40,000 Ukrainian troops were going to be cut off and annihilated within 48 hours of the war starting, that Ukraine had been "ground to dirt"...two months ago. AKA Col. Douglas MacGregor, who the author of article references as an authority.
  8. There's a ton of people who shout loudly about how they are !American Nationalists!...but they cant seem to wrap their heads around this point. We built the modern global system because we used to be 50% of the global economy and the only country with the A Bomb. Aka because we won so hard we almost got sick of winning. But ya know, burn it all down because rabblerabble.
  9. Good for Ukraine. Artillery is what's keeping Russia going, and Ukraine should get an answer for it. As for Putin, he's fighting a war that the West can participate in just by printing money and selling weapons. No troops, no casualties, just printing money and selling weapons. Doesnt strike me as smart if hes gambling that the West will get sick of printing money and selling weapons.
  10. Its at times like this I wish we had a national energy trust, like Alaska or Norway. With the fracking revolution we'd be our own OPEC and if Russia tried to manipulate the Petro markets, we could just open the taps and laugh. Instead, we argue about drilling leases and land rights, until some company 's lobbyists win. And the company gets the drilling leases and land rights, but doesnt bring any more supply to the marketplace because why bother driving prices down.
  11. Makes sense, they were down to one bridge out of the city. As for the rest of the article, its generally a bad idea to let the dictator win. Especially when he has delusions of Empire. No matter how expedient it may be in the short term. Russian state media are talking about how when they conquer Ukraine, they'll have to kill about 2 million people. Just to ensure proper Russification, of course. This is not the language of a side seeking peace. It is rhetoric designed to convince the world that Russia is cruel and relentless and ultimately unstoppable. None of that is true, but people believe lots of things that arent true if they think emotionally. And of course, we should all be petrified of how cruel, relentless and unstoppable Russia is. That was sarcasm. This is how the bad guys use terror when, like Russia, they have decades of practice. Its a polished act. And all these dudes seem to forget that Russia told us their plan, super villain style, when this all started. Helping it along, even from noble intentions and honest motives, seems really, really dumb. Also support for Ukraine is one of the last truly bipartisan issues left in Washington. I think its a good cause too, and there's so little unity left in this country. Oh and if the author thinks that a future GOP leader is just going to tell Mitch McConnell what to do, I want a toke of what he's smoking.
  12. The counter-attack in Kherson stalled out. Ukraine made some initial gains, but they cant match or neutralize Russian artillery. Very nasty video floating around of Ukrainian infantry that tried to attack without the protection of IFVs/APCs and were hit with rocket barrages.
  13. Who's gonna miss them when they're gone? Who wants to watch a bunch of blowhards and a posse of ex-Patriot players try and churn out click bait?
  14. Russia is still making some progress on the Donbass. Theyll probably end up flattening out the salient a bit thanks to the Popasna break in. Their progress is slowing, but Ukraine is on the back foot a bit. Theyll lose ground, but nothing catastrophic. Ukraine has launched a very large, very well equipped offensive in Kherson Oblast. Its being spearheaded by a Tank brigade equipped with Polish T72s and Dutch APCs. Apparently they're already through Russia's first lines of defense, and heading for the dam that bridges the Dnieper river AND controls water supply to Crimea.
  15. I agree completely. But our mental health system is a shambles, out healthcare system is just this side of a joke. We have one of the most heavily armed, highly trained civilian populations in the world, and they can't stop mass shootings. This happened in TEXAS for *****'s sake, where everybody brags about owning an AR and a plate carrier. We have some of the most heavily armed, highly trained police officers in the world, and they cant stop mass shootings. So what the ***** do we do?
  16. Russia had a good week. They're through Ukrainian defenses in two places. The Ukrainians are withdrawing to new lines to prevent an encirclement of their forces in the Donbass. It looks likes three months of generals getting fired and battlefield losses finally put decent Russian officers in charge. A shame really. They're taking Ukraine seriously, acting according to established doctrine, and leveraging their advantage in artillery firepower. What worries me the most about this is that i don't think ukraine has the artillery or ammo supply to go over to the offensive. Especially if Russia digs in deep. They can try to make up for it in weight of numbers and careful planning. But casualties will increase as a result.
  17. I've got you bud.
  18. So what's you're argument? I'm trying to understand it, and here's where I'm at. America successfully turned Ukraine into an American puppet, when it used to be a Russian puppet. Now Russia's invaded an American puppet, and even though their invasion has turned out nothing like they planned, they're actually winning overall because prices on the commodity market are sky high right now?
  19. Yup. Anybody who thinks they can bring about gods kingdom through man's works can go hang out with the other pelagians. So render unto caesar.
  20. Good. Break the Russian blockade and get food flowing to the Global South again. Popasna is heating up. Best case for Ukraine, this is some kind of gambit so they can overextend russian supply lines, then chew up a division of Russian paratroopers. Best case for Russia, this is the breakthrough they've been fighting for since the beginning of April.
  21. Keep an eye out for Popasna in the headlines. Something's going on there, and it's not good for Ukraine. Russia is shouting to the rooftops, which usually means ***** all. But open source analysts like ISW are noting some sizeable Russian gains. Usually Ukraine is pretty good at controlling Russian advances, but this one is in a very threatening area.
  22. But...he's got a SubStack and 250,000 Twitter followers!
  23. Ted Cruz is a broken clock, so he's going to be right once more today. All he's doing is quoting statements from Russia itself. Also, who's Michael Tracey, and why should anybody care what he says?
