  1. As Joe Marino points out, the Bills have no incentive to be transparent regarding White's injury - with the Ravens game two weeks away there is a competitive advantage to keeping info in-house.
  2. Tasker was talking about this on the radio yesterday. His take: during two-a-days players were dogging it a lot and the pace was slower. Nowadays coaches try to cram more game-speed plays into a limited window, and there's no break between drills.
  3. I was wondering if this was an intentional leak by the Bills to find out sources within the locker room...
  4. “Of all the ridiculous expressions people use - and people use a great many ridiculous expressions - one of the most ridiculous is 'No news is good news.' 'No new is good news' simply means that if you don't hear from someone, everything is probably fine, and you can see at once why this expression makes such little sense, because everything being fine is only one of many reasons why someone may not contact you. Perhaps they are tied up. Maybe they are surrounded by fierce weasels, or perhaps they are wedged tightly between two refrigerators and cannot get themselves out. The expression might well be changed to 'No new is bad news,' except that people may not be able to contact you because they have just been crowned king or are competing in a gymnastics tournament. The point is that there is no way to know why someone has not contacted you, until they contact you and explain themselves. For this reason, the sensible expression would be ;No news is no news,' except that it is so obvious it is hardly an expression at all.” ― Lemony Snicket, The Hostile Hospital
  5. 1. Yes 2. Get there an hour beforehand and sit in the far bleachers: sun's at your back, close to where the receivers drill. 3. Hours are posted on the website. 4. Avoid the bus and park in someone's lawn. Much easier and faster. I should add, there are VIP tickets, but you would know if you had them.
  6. Short version: he spent a lot of time in the Toronto area growing up, has tons of family there, and is really psyched to play for the Bills.
  7. All in fun - although I had never heard of "nescient" before

  9. I generally like White, but to hear him be "shocked,...shocked" that Beane came in hot after White and his co-host spent the previous two hours largely bitching about the wide receiver room, was a bit much. Time to put on the big boy pants, White.
  10. I don't understand how there can be such a wide and polarized opinion about Deone Walker. Gunner Bill and Joe Marino - both of whom seem very well-informed - want nothing to do with the guy, and yet the Bills scouts and management obviously see it very differently.
  11. Do the Bills and other teams run their own scheduling program - modeled on known NFL parameters - in order to anticipate the schedule and perhaps plan [draft, free agent] accordingly? The team is down 2 d-linemen the first 6 weeks of the season. Seems like it would be helpful to know now which 6 teams they are likely to face.
