  1. http://www.whec.com/news/stories/S3132085.shtml I get it, kind of, the NFL wants betters security at the games but are they really just inviting fans to stay home. Think about it, you stay home and you save on the ticket price, save on the outrageous parking fee, save on over prices food and beer, and at home the game is on in HD and there is less hassle. Not sure I understand what the NFL really think this will accomplish..
  2. this is yet another stupid post. If this post happens in 4 weeks it is good but you want to give the defense a name after MEANINGLESS pre season games. Shut down NE week one then we can try to "name" the defense!
  3. why does anyone care... Stephen A's philosophy of sports is simple... THE LOUDER I SHOUT IT THE MORE IT MUST BE TRUE! please...he knows crap about football he should be thankful NBA players let him stick his tongue up their backsides....
  4. There are 2 NJ teams but only 1 NY team
  5. They seemed honestly excited about what we are developing and that's a good sign.
  6. This is just plain stupid! Yes,let the undrafted ree agent rookie start the season over the first round pick...be the laughing stock of the league. Tuel should be thrilled he's about to pick up an NFL paycheck and he'll be a play or two away from having a real shot at playing in the league.
  7. well get direct TV and since anyone across the nation could watch the game, and it was the only game on that day,it was nationally televised.
  8. you people are crazy you are complaining about pre season scheduling? seriously Hey the Bills are being shown live, nation wide, What is wrong with that?
  9. so people actually think we cut the only veteran QB on the roster. Wouldn't Kolb be helpful in the film room at the very least making sure the two rookies are seeing what they need to see on film. He can help them prepare. and we raise expectation based on a preseason game. what is up with that? What we learned yesterday is what we hoped we would learn, it looks like this team will play fast, will be fundamentally sound, well coached and will play to players strengths. Beyond that, I'd rather expect a 4-12 season and get a better one than believe they can make he playoffs and fall flat on their faces. Keep it under control for now, let the kids develop without the weight of expectations.
  10. I agree the future looks bright however let's hope their one massive off season mistakes doesn't hurt this team. They knew they were gonna draft a QB and try to get talent WR, why weaken the O-line and let Levitre go and keep Byrd? They should have paid the O-linemen and let the safety go. Having a good strong o-line with a young QB is more important than the safety position. I fear our O-line could harm the development.
  11. It's a PRE SEASON game verses 2nd and 3rd string guys most of whom won't make an NFL roster keep your pants on and control yourself and don't want to shoot too quickly....
  12. I'd keep the veteran QB but you can see a different quality in coaching. You can see fundamentals have been emphasized.
  13. Brad smith should be nervous as we have depth
  14. It looks like a preseason game. A mixture of good, bad and ugly, but there really isn't that much for us to complaining about! TD
  15. And they wonder why people want to stay and watch games in HD
  16. I think the 17-3 concept could work. At least for a while Per season one home, road and neutral site game. Regular season, 8 home, road and one international game. London 3 or 4 games, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Tokyo, China, Mexico City, Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto (besides the Bills) and a couple more.
  17. If I could buy this, I would right now! This seems like such a dream, but it would be sweet to be relevant once again.
  18. people who write in numbers don't get it. The statement above is really good Having the game slow down as the season continues and mistakes made early in the season not repeated because EJ has recognized similar situations, defenses, coverage's, etc.
  19. Yes and here is the reason why!
  20. I was 8 years old, the Bills played the Raiders on Monday Night football sometime during the 1977 season. My dad was at the AFL title game just prior to the first Super Bowl at War Memorial Stadium.
  21. If he was involved in any way shape or form what a freakin dolt. Young, tons of money, a great career and you just threw it away because you can't control yourself.
  22. I'm heading back to WNY is about 7 weeks and I was hoping I might be able to take my boys to training camp but not sure when it starts. Have the Bills released the dates yet? Thank in advance
  23. I was standing at luggage claim at the Airport right at the end of tarining camp 1991 and Bruce was right next to me. He had a look on his face which said don't mess with me. No one talked to him, not one person asked him for an autograph, said hello, nothing. You could see he just wanted to get his wife's luggage and get out of there. He might have been a nice guy, but day he wasn't in the mood. Glad to read the Stevie is excited, that's what we need guys who believe they will find a way to get the job done. So far the Bills off season seems to have gone really well, the whole Marone staff seems to be really professional in their approach. I am hopeful we will see some really positive things but some wins would be nice. I'd be happy with 8-8 this coming season if you can promise me one of those wins is against NE.
  24. Kipper & McShay - total fn tools! Their opinions aren't worth anything
  25. Nelson may nit have brought speed but he could move the chains on third down and in the NFL of today, that's kind of important.
