  1. I could deal with this too as long as it comes with a QB drafted and we have a offense put place that doesn't require him to be the man. Chan Gailey's system + Alex Smith = a giant hell NO!
  2. I'd love for both CJ and FJ to spend some time in the backfield together. Try to get CJ isolated via motion out of the backfield on a linebacker and let him either draw additional coverage or use his isolated coverage to create big play opportunities. Plus you line him out wide and motion him back into the backfield to create lots of shifting within the defense opening up other favorable matchups a good offensive coach can exploit.
  3. I say build it in Niagara Falls over the gorge. When drunks get out of hand, we thrown them over. After a while, this won't be much of a problem afterwards, plus when depression sinks in because we still suck, you have an option right then and there. Plus half the stadium would technically be in Canada so we help out with border traffic. See the location solves lots of problems.
  4. How is Chip Kelly going to without Phil Knights money and Oregon crazy uniforms which help him recruit because punch 18 year old want swag? Chip Kelly flops in the NFL. That's just my opinion, he should stay put and just make his 3.5 million per year forever because the Ducks aren't gonna fire him any time soon.
  5. I just don't get the Chip Kelly love, he's an unproven college coach who had had success at one major program and minor success as a position coach and coordinator at New Hampshire. Not exactly the hot bed of football.
  6. because EJ Manuel is awful and could't hit water sitting in a boat. Did you watch FSU this year, they won often in-spite of EJ.
  7. Family Bill Cowher's late wife, Kaye (née Young), also a North Carolina State University graduate, played professional basketball for the New York Stars of the (now defunct) Women's Pro Basketball League with her twin sister Faye. Kaye was featured in the book Mad Seasons: The Story of the First Women's Professional Basketball League, 1978–1981, by Karra Porter (University of Nebraska Press, 2006). Kaye Cowher died of skin cancer at age 54 on July 23, 2010. Bill and Kaye have three daughters. Daughters, Meagan and Lauren, played basketball at Princeton University. Their third daughter Lindsay played basketball at Wofford College before transferring to Elon University.[9] In 2007, the Cowher family moved to Raleigh, North Carolina from suburban Pittsburgh (Fox Chapel). Meagan Cowher is married to Los Angeles Kings forward, Kevin Westgarth.[10]
  8. Chip Kelly's coaching resume: 1990 Columbia (DB/ST) 1991 Columbia (OLB/SS) 1992 New Hampshire (RB) 1993 Johns Hopkins (DC) 1994–1996 New Hampshire (RB) 1997–1998 New Hampshire (OL) 1999–2006 New Hampshire (OC) 2007–2008 Oregon (OC) 2009–present Oregon (HC) That's what you're basing it on. He put together a great system at New Hampshire and Oregon. NH, the NCAA football powerhouse
  9. Bruce Arians because his offences at Pittsburgh and Indy have been different and they adjust well to personnel. Why Chip Kelly? His system works in college but would it work in the NFL? He has zero NFL experience.
  10. hey I do my part. But think of the failures which have happened when a "great coach" doesn't have the "great QB." How good was Shanahan when he didn't have Elway or RG3? Holmgrem didn't look as good without Favre.
  11. Does anyone really want Chip Kelly as the coach? He's not at the top of my list. Not sure his style will work in the NFL.
  12. any coach who is linked to a great QB may be a guy to stay away from. Because without the great QB it doesn't work.
  13. I would hire a guy to run the a new misinformation department. And that guy would be busy constantly allow information to leak out and every once in a while it would be correct just to keep them guessing all the time.
  14. WGR is reporting Ken Weisenhunt is a top candidate, OK now that's worse then Hue Jackson.
  15. Gailey wasn't the first choice....what are you gonna say at a press conference, this guy was our sixth choice?
  16. he was 8-8 with Oakland after one season and the got fired because it's Oakland. I can think of worse. Not saying he's my #1 choice, but I'll take him over others.
  17. I heard that caller. If your dream coach is Brian Billick, then you shouldn't call and complain
  18. My point isn't that we didn't draft THESE guys, is that we failed to draft anyone to have a future QB on the roster. Why not talk Ryan Mallet in the 3rd round two years ago? Or someone else, draft a QB or move yourself around in the draft to get yourself in a position to draft one.
  19. the only way we can prove anything is to win more games............ that's right, we as fans don't care about anything but winning and losing.
  20. I don't think Brandon has a billion dollar laying around, he came from a working class family. Therefore, he ain't buying the team.
  21. six QB in this years playoffs are 1st or 2nd year players, and we could have drafted 4 of these. Dalton, Kaepernick, Ponder, and Wilson and the fact that we didn't draft any QB the last two years is what is frustrating. Even if we had missed, we would have at least addressed the obvious need, and that's the scariest part. Failing to address the need.
  22. We have a new stadium on the horizon...really, I though a committee would be formed in 5/6 years. A new owner might have different thoughts.
  23. Anyone know on the web, where it can be watched live?
  24. someone said why in the world would he want to take the Buffalo job.....part ownership? seriously that's the only reason I can think of.
  25. Could the Bills move a home game to Vegas! I'd go to that one!
