  1. just got back to Durham from the game and Allen has somehow slipped from last year. there were at least three times where he had wide open receivers who he either didn't see or comply missed badly; plus he forced several passes in tight coverage. He did have a nice scramble throw- i think it went to Kincaid-i was at the other end zone so could see the replay but didn't catch who the receiver was. but it's simply my uneducated opinion that he doesn't seem to have the same awareness as he had last year. Still a great win - thanks Cook.
  2. Seeing my sons who live in Durham-going to game with them-I am the designated driver so they better win as no drowning one's sorrows is there a place near the stadium where the Bills' fans congregate?
  3. Bills 31 Panthers 27....Panthers eat up a lot of clock with their running game..the Bills stop with all the penalties and win the turnover battle 2-0.......Rolaids and Tums sales break a record in WNY
  4. Pigeons 24 Bills 23...Atlanta runs roughshod through the Bills D but the Bills hang in only to lose with a Prater miss from the 45 with no time left
  5. Its not so much a fix from the league but the unconscious bias the refs (and this incudes hockey too-of course with the Sabres the way they play doesn't help) have toward Buffalo. The constant negative rantings of the media toward all things Buffalo ultimately has an impact on how people in general view anything associated with WNY. Think about the number of people you have run into during your lifetime that when you mention you grew up in or near Buffalo and their reaction especially when they have never been to or spent any time in Buffalo.
  6. no-not the way this team is constructed. It's also half on Beane for poor drafting in the early rounds.
  7. Hopefully, this loss is a one-off and it shakes off the overconfidence that led to the Bills' meltdown in this game. My Observations were as follows: 1. The penalty calls were incredibly egregious and that ultimately helped the Pats win the game-having said that the Bills' coaching staff had a really bad game plan 2. The Bill's D is average at best 3. Allen reverted to the Allen of the first 3 years of his career - note that had the Bills got to 31 pts they win the game - duh obviously - that's me making fun of me 4. Not sure why but the Bills seem to suffer injuries at positions they can least afford - yes all teams have injuries but the Bills seem to compound them for their DBs and DL. 5. As a corollary to 2 and 4, until the Bills start to draft players in the first three rounds that can actually contribute, they aren't getting to the promised land-yes i know Cook was taken early but he seems to be the exception - I look at Rousseau and Epenesa as wasted picks and with this year's 1st, 2nd and 3rd either injured or simply AWOL when on the field this last draft looks real bad. Not drafting a linebacker early in 2024 to replace Milano was a mistake IMHO; of course he would probably have been bust considering the Bills' record on early draft picks 6. The Bills' receivers, except for Shakir and Kincaid, are pretty mediocre - they really need a speed demon to make the other team's DBs provide more space Last and not a game observation but if the Bills really think this is their year then trade for a speed receiver, a DB and a DE..yes they'll give up some draft capital but as noted above those early picks don't seem to contribute anyway. and finally we can all look forward to successful season by the Sabres🤣
  8. oh god get a room you two
  9. well one saving grace is given the purge of all the normal, good intelligence officers it's unlikely the cigarette man's admonition of never letting the Bills win a super bowl is diminished and maybe even close to zero
  10. respectfully disagree - the Herschel Walker or Ditka's lets trade away all our draft picks for Ricky Williams I think surpass the bad Browns trade.
  11. sorry..I am sure there were others too...not sure which was worse Ditkas 99 antics or the Hershel Walker trade
  12. I believe Ditka trading all his draft picks in 99 for one player has that accolade
  13. use of popsickle sticks don't count
  14. Really hate to pick against the Bills but the Chefs are just slightly better and with home field advantage plus the extra 8 non contact teammates on the field just too much to overcome for the Bills. heartbreaker Chefs 34 Bills 31. Not many bad calls against the Bills but what will hurt is the failure to make obvious calls on the home team (heres looking at you J Taylor and T McDuffie-not even a real Irishman) God do I hope I have to ingest feces with this prediction. Next year will be the year!111
  15. you "x' guys are right...just saw the replay and he would have rolled in.
  16. i don't think the ball even if he caught it would be across the goal line. his bod was on the ground and the ball at least a half yard out
  17. even if Andrews caught that ball I don't think he would be in as he was on the ground and the ball outside the goal line
  18. Left brain says Ravens 31 Bills 28 Right Brain says Bills 38 Ravens 31 Going with Right Brain for tomorrow - analytical thinking is way over rated Left and Right Brain after Special Rice Krispie Treat consumption
  19. good thing that DB covering Coleman is really really slow
  20. I don't normally pick the Bills to win in a walk away but I think this is the one time the entire bills team shows up in all three phases of the game (ok maybe special teams not so much). Bills 35 Broncos 24 with Broncs getting two late fourth quarter meaningless scores.
  21. Bass did that on purpose to keep the Pats in the game..he never misses those😏
  22. do you think he was ordered to drop that ball?
