  1. I would love to see what Allen could do with a better than average O line. The Bills O-line is somewhere between mediocre and atrocious. I do agree with the OP's take that Allen seems to have trouble reading the D and especially those corner blitzes. However he is still an immense talent that simply deserves to have better players around him.
  2. isn't this poll the epitome of a "Billsy" thing?
  3. Just finished reading an article where it looks like the Bills ended up with 3 6th round picks for the 2024 draft....is that article right? I don't recall any of thsoe trades Updating the traded picks in the 2024 NFL draft after the trade deadline (yahoo.com)
  4. Hate to pick against the Bills but this is a bad match-up on both O and D for the Bills. Bengals 27 Bills 13..almost a repeat of the playoffs. At least the Sabres are starting to win so there is some solace in being a Buff sports fan.
  5. well no jet lag or travel cocnerns this time but it is the Bills; maybe traveling from thier homes to the stadium is simply too taxing.. Will go one of two ways Bills crush the Bucs say 38-10 or the Bucs win a close one in a low scoring affair 20-17. My guess is the Bills actually pull this one out.
  6. I think that 4 hr travel back east after going abck and forth across the pond accenuated the jet lag problem..hopefully the trip back to Buffalo from Boston doesn't add to the problem.
  7. I know I am oversimplyfying things a bit but I see the Bills taking one of three paths going forward 1. Stay the course, the ship will right itself as some of the injured players like Oliver will be back soon. 2. Make a major trade at the deadline to fix the more signficant holes; meaning giving up one or two high round draft picks. 3. Recognize the current make-up of this team including the cap problems prevent this team from going all the way. Thus one needs to think do they go for a 2, 3 or even 4 year plan where they trade or cut pieces that won't be here and try and load up on draft picks. Included in any of the above would be some coaching changes but outside of the O coordinator I don't see coaching changes altering the fundamental problems with this team.
  8. just one of those days...not sure they can recover-eevrything seems to be going wrong.hoepfully the Pats don't score before the half
  9. extremely worried about the travel lag affect going east from Buff to new England, then there are all those injuries, the Bills O can't seem to get on the same page and now Bass seems to be failing: Bills 30 Pats 7
  10. and the beloved Marty Schottenheimer is there a chance that a mutation developed and maybe Johnson is an evolutionary freak on the tree?
  11. well they probably have some form of jet lag coming back across the pond, mucho injuries to key players, the players missed Octoberfest, transition playing on cement to turf, and simply overconfident so Bills 38 Gmen 17
  12. Well if the Bills can keep them to 11 by end of half they do get the ball back to start the 2nd so there is a chance
  13. You totally missed the point...sarcasm is probably not in your wheelhouse
  14. Coming off huge emotional win, time zone travel woes, the other team has pseudo home field advantage, probably a trap game....Bills 31 Jags 13
  15. this game will be real close. Most likely Bills 24 DC 17. Hopefully the Bills of last week show up.
  16. kimd of like Schrödinger's cat - you'll never really know
  17. The Q should be what kind not whether you are or not
  18. Got them right where we want them-overconfident
  19. This game should tell a lot about the Bills (and Allen's ) mentality. Expect the Bills to win by somewhere between 7 and 10 pts, so lets say 30-20 Buffalo over the Raiders. However, if Jacobs has a really good day and Allen reverts to the Allen we witnessed in the Jets game, Raiders will probably squeak this out 24 to 23.
