  1. Thanks, enjoyed that. It's not a coincidence that the three "best offensive minds" work with 3 of the 4 best QBs in the NFL. I think it says more about having a QB with the ability to read defenses than the genius of the coordinators. If you can't tell what the D is doing, then you don't know the weakness to take advantage of.
  2. I'd like to see even less creativity and have them go back to the "EJ Offense" where they ran it twice and passed on 3rd if needed. Too many times Sunday they gained 4-5 yards on a first down run, then passed twice, and punted.
  3. Miami's win last night was huge. They play 3 of their last 4 games at home--Balt, Minn, and Jets, and get the Pats away. Miami is tough at home. I think they are in the driver's seat for a wild card at 10-6, as long as they win their home games.
  4. Will his players carry him out on their shoulders and yell he's the "king of orchard park"?
  5. Bills could've made the list if Trump had ponied up...
  6. I thought the Oline had one of its better games Monday, and Hackett was persistent in running the ball. A successful running game makes everything else work and look better. Without solid Oline play and a good running game, the Bills O looks like crap and Hackett looks like crap. Winning the next 4 games, and staying in the hunt, will come down to how well the Bills run the ball.
  7. Going with a group of 5, and one is a Brown's fan coming over from Cleveland. I'm sure there will be the usual smattering opposing colors...
  8. My first home game of the season (I'm also going to the Packer game), and I will personally applaud Pettine. He's done a great job with what he's got in Cleveland. Who is Whitner?
  9. I hope Mario plays angry again...
  10. Miami plays the Jets twice, Baltimore and Minnesota at home, then at Pats. They have a very good change at winning 10 games now. Bills blew that on.
  11. After Hughes, other young players coming up include Searcy, Hogan, Easely, Wynn, Bryant, and Hairston. It would be good if they can retain them, and I list them in order of importance if they can't keep all. Other UFAs of note include Spikes, Pears, Summers, and Lee Smith. I don't know that losing any of this group would matter much. I believe the Bills have a lot of dead money freed up this off season from Fitz and Stevie, so I think the money is there to offer Hughes. It would help if Mario restructures to give them $ the following year for Dareus.
  12. On the 4th and 1, My preference would be to run on the left side of the Bills' Oline behind Glenn and Urbik.
  13. love it when Mario does the rag doll body slam!!!
  14. They are as good as any team in the NFL. They need to develop a take no prisoners mentality. Just go out and beat up the competition Bills!
  15. Didn't see it, but CNN said the crowd charged that small police grouping. That was obviously going to happen, and seemed like a set up to me.
  16. I'm sitting here flipping back and forth between the game and cnn. I see a huge crowd and inside a barrier a relatively small group of cops in their gear. It looks like this is almost a set up...
  17. Blatant hold on Charles with that ivory run
  18. Man, as much as we complain about our QB situation, thank god we're not the Jets...
  19. Kiko Alonso got the 300-level shoveled out today before he went in for his rehab.
  20. I picked the Raiders with the spread of +7, but I'm not in my right mind usually....
  21. Ok, I see. The economy has been manipulated by the Fed for over 5 years now as its balance sheet has increased 500%. You (and Magox) claimed it was Fed policy that caused higher oil/commodity prices in the first part of the age of manipulation. Now, apparently you are claiming that same manipulation is causing lower prices? Or are you claiming other conspiratorial forces are to blame?
  22. Give'em a break. It's hard to meet bonus targets if you can't rig the numbers.
  23. Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn...
  24. Are you still clinging to your Austrian ideas given the decline in commodities? In the past year, the Fed has expanded its balance sheet--pumping liquidity in the markets to the tune of $600 billion or 15.6%; yet gold is down 9.4%, and the GSCI is down 14%; and Oil is collapsing! Any thoughts?
  25. Posted this in another thread. Relevant for this one. IF the Bills can win the next 3 AND go 2-2 in the final quarter, they make 10-6. 5 Wins= @Mia, NYJ, Clev, @Oak, GB For the competition, I'll list games where they have a higher (than 50-50) chance of losing: AFCW KC 6-3: SEA, DEN, @AZ, @Pitt, SD. Lose 4 of 5. 9-7 SD 5-4: Pats, Den, @SF, @KC. Lose 3 of 4. 9-7 AFCN: Clev 6-3: @Buf, Ind, @CAR, @Balt, Cin. Lose Ind, @Buf, and one of @Balt or Cin, so Pitt wins division and Bills win head-to-head. Cinc 5-3-1: @NO, Pitt, @Clev, Den, @Pitt. Lose any 3 and they are 9-6-1. Pitt 5-4: NO, @Cin, KC, Cin. Easiest schedule. Hope they win division (Bills have the head-to-head over Clev). Pitt needs to beat Cin twice in case Clev and Pitt are 10-6. Balt 5-4: @NO, SD, @Mia, Clev. Lose 3 and they are 9-7. Scenarios: 1. It's all moot if Bills don't take care of business. 2. If KC only loses 3 more games, then Pitt needs to win AFCN so Bills have tie breaker with Clev. I don't see SD doing better than 9-7. 3. If KC loses 4 more games, then most likely Pitt and Clev get in as Div winner and WC, with Bills as the other WC. It would've been a hell of a lot easier had the Bills beat KC, but I believe they still have a pretty decent shot with #2 be most likely.
