If it is a "safety issue", then I guess I would expect teams with the worst offensive lines in the NFL to sit even their veteran QBs. No one does that for good reason. Teams play their best QB when healthy. Allen is the Bill's best QB. There is zero question.

If he is the Bills starter, there is no question he will be the worst starting QB in the NFL week 1. No one else is as close to as bad. By no presence, I mean he establishes zero fear in a single defender. No defense in the NFL needs to adjust any aspect of their game to account for him. He is not an NFL starting caliber QB. Name one thing he does that is above average among NFL starting QBs. If you are below average at something, it is not a strength. Nothing he does is above average. Therefore nothing is a strength.

Peterman has a mediocre arm He has zero presence on the field. Every def coordinator would love to play him His mobility in the pocket is limited He panics and leaves the pocket at the first sign of trouble. He telegraphs his passes He has no strengths.

The play were he was sacked by the unimpeded rusher was his most impressive play of the night. He actually stood the defender up before going down, and he got up and played like the hit was nothing.

its simple. you play your best players at every position. Allen is better than Peterman at every facet of the game. If McD starts Peterman he should be fired for malpractice.

Several recent Super Bowls have been won by guys on a rookie QB contract. There is not time to fart around building a line for three years. There is on reason to stockpile picks. In your world we lose a couple of winnable games until the oline gets Peterman killed. then we bring in Allen and get him killed. In my world, seeing the whole picture, I realize that Allen is far stronger, quicker and faster, and much more able to make do with the sad sack line than j peterman.

Peterman is not a bust. He is a never was.

I want to be diplomatic. Josh Allen is much better than Nate Peterman right now. His ceiling is dramatically higher. Unless you think this online will get Allen killed, you must start him.
