In the era of the rookie salary cap, signing a QB who is not under a rookie contract (ie Fitz, Flacco, Romo and probably Dalton ) who is not a certified star will nearly cripple a team unless it is structured in some very clever way. If you don't have a star QB, a team is probably better off rotating mediocre QBs every 4 years on a rookie contract. QB's like Fitz and Jake Locker and Matt Shaub and EJ Manuel and Chrisitan Ponder are all interchangeable, not good enough to carry a team, so you might as well go with the cheapest and spend the money elsewhere.

It does not, or Green Bay would not be on the list.

You seem like you might be one of those Bills fans who prefer the team to lose, so that you can pretend you are a superior human being for heaping praise upon any bad performance or finding the silver lining in yet another 6-10 season.

He seems like a really nice guy and the type of guy a coach really wants to see succeed. Which may actually end up detrimental to the team. And he doesn't really seem to know the difference between having played well and having played poorly. His ability to "put the bad plays behind you" is troubling in some ways. People used to say he had the "it" factor. But I am starting to think its more like he doesn't "get it".

This is another reason its makes sense to use more than one draft pick on a QB every 6 or 7 years. Now teams like the Pats or Eagles stand to get a return on their QB investment in a trade with the Rams.

In Goodwin's twitter profile he describes himself as "God's Prodigy" I am pretty sure that means he might be a bit self-centered. He must think that the reason we have a sold out preseason game is that after 14 years of no playoffs the Bills jumped onto the Flash Goodwin's God's Prodigy bandwagon, and then I guess jumped off mid-way through the game.
