  1. He lives in his car, and he doesn’t have a car. I think it’s pretty serious. Is there a refund for the Vikings game? I’d really rather focus on that. It helps me sleep.
  2. Sounds like a black and white silent movie, originally. I bet the Roman’s didn’t even have remote controls to change the channel. The “Ho-Ho-Ho’ clinches it! Die Hard is as much of a Christmas movie as Home Alone or The Chevy Chase Christmas movies. A lot of movies are set during Christmas, while relatively few are about Christmas.
  3. This would suck if you are coming into town and you have flights and all the other details to attend to….then have everything changed on you. My son went up for the Vikings game and went straight from the stadium to the airport, as many people do. This could send you back to the drawing board in terms of hotel reservations, car rentals, getting back for work, etc. I know some people love prime time games, but I’m a creature of habit. My internal clock calls for the Bills to play Sundays ay 1PM.
  4. Asking the “weak end” of the position to be the leaders is asking for trouble. We’ve lost three Pro Bowlers in the backfield, it wasn’t just “three guys”. They were the leaders, the glue that made everything else work. The weak link will always be attacked, but when healthy we have few weak links. The glue leading them to the right places (and a healthy pass rush) make those guys better.
  5. I think I asked my son to stop saying where the pass was going in the last game. You’re no Tony Romo, kiddo, you’re just looking for the guy across from Dane. He was right more often than not.
  6. I feel like I have been on the teacups at the amusement park.
  7. That’s just how this season is going! 🤷‍♂️
  8. We had season tickets and I loved the NBA back then. After we lost the Braves my NBA interest has gradually declined to the point that I don’t even watch the Finals, and when sports talk radio goes to the NBA, I go to another station. He was a person with a family, so there’s that. .
  9. I think if you watch the game, you can see the difference when he goes out. We were clearly an inferior defense when he left the game. Don’t let the hate get in the way of watching the game.
  10. My son tore his ACL and we were given three options. Cadaver was one of them, but despite being treated there is no guarantee you won’t catch whatever the cadaver might have been carrying. The second option was part of your own patella tendon, but this can have significant negative residual effects on the patella. The third option was using part of your hamstring. The hamstring again has the advantage of coming from your own body so there is no introduction of foreign material/disease. They say it heals long term with fewer side effects than using the patella. We went out of state to get the best possible advice and surgery and chose the hamstring for his surgery. We were relieved to hear that Tiger Woods had his ACL surgery the same day as our son and he also used the hamstring. I’m sure he had good advice. Having said that, I’m not sure to what extent this may or may not leave the hamstring susceptible to pulls or other injuries and for how long.
  11. Does anyone know what they used for the graft? Was that ever announced? My son used his hamstring for the surgery and there IS some trauma there as well. I won’t pretend to know if that would have any effect at this point, but it makes me wonder.
  12. This could just be me, but it feels like even prior to the injury Josh was, for lack of a better term “flicking” the ball and throwing off platform more than in the past. Is that just me? His motion seems just a bit different at times. (If you want to call me crazy, this should not be near the top of the list of reasons why.)
  13. Some people like to use the “all opinions should be valued card”. Some other people realize that that is often used as an excuse for trolling behavior. I’m not talking about anyone in particular, but it’s pretty obvious when you see it.
  14. I think it’s because we were the early game when everyone was pretty sober. And hours later……they just don’t remember watching the later games. 😋
  15. Exactly, and this is worth repeating. Simply “counting games” without any context is misleading. It’s not just the “how many”, who they are is critical and it has hurt our defense dramatically. Would you take 6 injured ST players, or one guy named Josh. The “who” is a big deal. I get it, the numbers are surprising….until you look beneath the surface.
  16. Marino was the only gunslinger there. Fouts threw long but was schemed open, and Montana was more precision. Very few NFL players could DREAM of making some of the plays Josh makes while he makes them look almost routine.
  17. The most amazing part to me was that Josh didn’t fall over and do his tumbling routine at the end. He lost some points from the Russian judges due to the lack of difficulty.
  18. …..AND, let us not forget that he’s played his last down as a Bill. That might have been my favorite!
  19. Relocation due to snow has happened twice in 49 years. The stadium decision is made. If you don’t like it, I suggest you get over it rather than make yourself miserable over something you have no control over. But, feel free to be you, of course.
  20. She would take a thermos of coffee and sleep thru every game at the Rockpile. Then we moved in 1973, and 80,199 other screaming fans couldn’t stop her from taking a little nap. It was uncanny. 🤷‍♂️
  21. I hope I don’t offend you if I say you sound like my wife. 😋
  22. Apparently it shrank in the wash. They didn’t realize Alaska was dry clean only. It’s OK, they still have plenty of elbow room.
