I think the people like your dad will always exist! The bigger issue is the parents and rightfully so. I have a 7yr old daughter, light of my freaking life, if she was a boy I certainly would not be pushing playing football as an idea. I'd encourage her at other sports as I think sports are a great life lesson. I'm not sure at what age, likely not before 10, if "my son" came begging me, I'd eventually give the green light. But it would have to come from them just about begging. Surprisingly I feel the same about soccer (highest concussion rate in HS sports) I'd steer them towards really anything but those two. Sad to even have to consider.

Where do you find that? Would love to see that list? My understanding is you want an owner willing to do this, but probably don't want to be at the very top of the list, as that likely signals REAL cap problems down the road? Something you'd ideally want to be between #5 - #10ish?

I think there's enough data to indicate a trend. I gotta theory. These were players with higher floor, lower ceilings, already considered consistent/ polished up. I think Beanes chased the athletic freaks that are a bit more raw in the 1st and then day 3 picks the most. Day 2 has been a lot of boring unsexy picks. We've got a great coaching Staff that's coached these guys up. I say from here out we throw caution to the wind in every round amd swing like McGwire summer '98!!! Agreed, bite the bullet and be done with it. I don't think Cook has the frame to be a true running back. A 3rd down back that we can use on all downs, but I just can't see him handling 12-15 carries a game over a season. Am I wrong here? Doesn't seem like he was an every down back at Georgia either
