I agree with Bandit above, but, agree it doesn't take into account his terrible tackling and unwilling to SEEM to try to tackle. I would agree with this, but, tweak it and say Gilmore is a top 12-15 CB. But, that's a big hole to replace. Also, he might have struggled with Rex's system or just didn't like playing for him. I am a little all over the place on Gilmore, but, don't want to replace our #1 CB.

No. He doesn't warrant a spot in the NFL. He isn't good enough to start and too cancerous to back up and his ego won't let him back up IMO.

If those numbers are correct. I would keep Wood. That is an intriguing option and a good one. How old is Groy? If in his 20's....Maybe a 3 year deal at $2 million a year for your back up swing G/C or a potential starter.

I would prefer to keep Groy and let Wood walk. I am not convinced after watching Wood for his entire career that he is above average at C. He is average at best. As others have mentioned here, I don't think C is the position to pay above average salaries for.
