  1. Seems like a solid pick. Admittedly, didn't watch him last season. We'll get to see him develop and I really like his size. 22. A.J. Epenesa, Edge, Iowa At this time last year, many projected Epenesa as a top-10 pick. A middling final year at Iowa has dinged his stock as teams wonder if he’s a good enough athlete to stay on the outside in the NFL. His best fit might be in the description above. It would take advantage of his 6’5, 275-pound frame and make him an asset on third downs from the inside. The only better fit might be on a team that runs a lot of three-man fronts with Epenesa bulking up a little. Smaller Calais Campbell is a pretty good way of describing him.
  2. Players gotta play, coaches gotta coach. The potential is there, but without execution, discipline and desire, we still won't get out of the first round. That's why they play the games. Nice to be on the other side of that quote for a change. We should win 11 games plus a playoff game with home field.
  3. Saving money for future RFA signings down the road?
  4. I like Tee. Only thing I hope we don't do is trade up again. Too many highPo guys likely available when we pick and then again in later rounds. Two Wrs in top 4 picks wouldn't disappoint me. All I want is speed, hands, size and determination (LOL).
  5. Tend to agree. I do like Singletary a lot. OL looked overmatched at times although much improved from the previous year especially pass blocking. Morse wasn't much of a step up which was disappointing. Ford will get better, but I'd like to see us add at least one starter from FA. For what it's worth, overall these guys have us as average. https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ol/2019
  6. Watson was a Bill? Damn, wish we hung on to him. Would have solved two problems...
  7. Wondering if he got any input from his Ass Coaches? Collectively, they should be able to make a better decision.
  8. There is still a lot of work to do on the offensive side of the ball. The OL is a work in progress. The WRs are ordinary although I do like JB as a solid #2 and Beasley in slot. The TEs are young and have dropped a lot of balls. I do like Sweeney and think letting go of Jack's nephew was a mistake. Liking what I see from Singletary but the rest of the RBs are a train wreck. Gore is well past prime and of marginal value. Allen is still pretty green and a raw talent that needs seasoning. I hate to throw all of the offenses problems at the feet of the OC. That said, I think Daboll is not utilizing what he has in the best way he can. No team is perfect. I'd like to think we can win with the talent we have and that they can get better.
  9. While I agree directionally, the use of the term "a few" strikes a chord of dissonance from reality as I perceive it. I for one, would be very happy with a change. Sad to say, Daboll won't get the gig and so he isn't leaving, I can only hope he gets better.
  10. I'd also like to see a guy whose arms don't get shorter when catching a ball over the middle.
  11. Oh, I thought this was Derek Carr. Who the hell is David Carr and why should we care?
  12. I started JA in my FL and got 23+ points as a reward!!
