  1. How dare you mock our soon to be Buffalo Bill!
  2. If you want to grab the next Dak Prescott or Derek Carr you can't depend on consensus. You need QB scouts that are up to date with the current NFL. Unfortunately many of the scouts still employed by teams are living in the wrong decade and their information trickles back to form the mocks of people like Kiper and Mayock. We need to do better.
  3. Pegula heard that Mcdermott is a wrestler. He brings it up all the time.
  4. If McDermott has all this power what difference does it make which errand boy gets the title of GM?
  5. Well, the Bills don't have an elite front office like the Packers. Maybe you guys could send us someone to help us draft a real QB?
  6. Didn't Johnny Football insist he didn't need rehab last we checked? I don't get what the point of bringing him back until Johnny got that part of his life taken care of.
  7. Anthony Lynn looking into Mahomes... Eric Williams of ESPN.com reports that the Chargers held a private workout with Patrick Mahomes in Lubbock, Texas recently. Head coach Anthony Lynn, who also went to Texas Tech, attended the workout along with offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt and quarterbacks coach Shane Steichen. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/23/patrick-mahomes-josh-dobbs-had-private-workouts-for-chargers/
  8. Yeah, let's find a pro style QB. Let's just jump in a time machine and go back 15 years where we can use a fullback. Oh wait, we have fullbacks...
  9. Get ready for Kizer if Whaley is making the pick.
  10. No need to get a QB. We have Tyrod and his third from the bottom Yards Per Catch per pass thrown.
  11. PFF College Football‏Verified account @PFF_College Mar 16 More "Every time I watch Patrick Mahomes, I come away more impressed each time. I'm convinced he'll become a top 5 QB in the NFL." @PFF_JohnKosko
  12. Depends on who you listened to. There were a lot of media people saying Carr was outside the top 3 for a while. Mike Mayock had Carr as QB 3.
  13. We have a QB that no one else really wanted. Let's see how far that gets us.
  14. 2014 the Big 3 were Manziel, Bortles, and Bridgewater. Then near the draft there were people insisting that the best QB was Derek Carr. Fact was that people in the know liked Carr. Including Kyle Shanahan but the Browns owner listened to a homeless person who told him to take Manziel over his offensive coordinator.
  15. I liked Rowdy Roddy Piper.
  16. No one? Here is what our NFL Draft insiders Rob Rang and Dane Brugler wrote in their scouting report on Prescott prior to the 2016 NFL Draft: WEAKNESSES: Work in progress as a passer but has a live arm and good field vision. His footwork is inconsistent and he loses accuracy when his feet are not set. Tends to predetermine some throws and relies on a lot of back shoulder patterns, something that got him in trouble against Auburn and Alabama. Has not shown the consistency to lead his team through the air in tough road environments when the ground game is shut down. But the biggest note that stands out in Prescott's scouting report might be his NFL comparison. COMPARES TO: Tim Tebow, ex-Broncos, Jets, Patriots - It is the natural comparison, beyond just the connection to Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen, who was Florida's offensive coordinator when Tebow was in Gainesville. Although Prescott has a slightly better arm and more consistent mechanics, he and Tebow grade similar in several categories, including composure, mobility, power and leadership. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/revisiting-dak-prescotts-scouting-report-work-in-progress-compares-to-tim-tebow/
  17. Hey, look. It's another Buffalo let's punt the football on the 42 yard line crew.
  18. And many of the NFL writers are wrong. They were saying Dak was Tebow last year and yet we are supposed to listen to them now?!
  19. The Mahomes Gruden QB camp aired today but I was at work. The complete episode should be up soon. Here are some of the highlights... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNoDMUOsL3c&t=15s
  20. Sure, if other NFL team's value a QB as a top pick let's give them the chance to take the QB first. Bills fans are very generous with trying to help other teams. We already give the Pats two wins a year, let's help another bottom basement team find their QB.
  21. All 32 clubs were represented by a reported turnout of 75 NFL personnel. Among them was 49ers GM John Lynch, who holds the No. 2 overall pick and is in need of a QB. The skinny: Trubisky was naturally the main attraction as one of the draft's top quarterbacks, although no head coaches were in attendance. They missed an impressive performance, according to NFL Network draft expert Mike Mayock. "Mitch Trubisky I thought had a really solid day. (The) 68 plays scripted by his quarterback coach Ryan Lindley showed off his footwork and movement skills. He doesn't have an overpowering arm, but what is he? He's a timing thrower, he's an anticipatory thrower, and he can really move, left or right," said Mayock, who attended the pro day. "... As far as his arm strength, solid. As far as ball location and accuracy, outstanding. I thought he had a really good day and I think he helped himself." http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000794083/article/what-we-learned-tuesday-trubisky-helps-himself-at-pro-day
  22. My friend also is friends with someone that is Director of College Scouting for an NFL team. A team known for drafting great QB's. That's why when he talks I listen. He had Dak Prescott #2 on his board last year after Wentz. He sold me on Mahomes this year as he said Mahomes will be better than Dak.
  23. I think Cosell is interesting but some of his stuff is analysis paralysis. He wrote that Trubisky has a serious flaw in his front leg that will prevent accuracy in the NFL. I talked to someone I know that coaches in college. When I asked about the Trubisky leg he just went into a squat motion and started to simulate throwing a football. In other words, Cosell sees things but doesn't always see the big picture.
  24. Mayock talks to NFL teams. He doesn't have special authority other than having more inside information than the average fan on how NFL teams feel on the prospects. Quarterback 1. Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M 2. Blake Bortles, Central Florida 3. Derek Carr, Fresno State 4. Jimmy Garoppolo, Eastern Illinois T-5. Zach Mettenberger, LSU T-5. Teddy Bridgewater, Louisville Now Shanahan had Carr and Garoppolo on top that year. So there are people that know more than Mayock.
