  1. McCown is actually not bad when healthy. I assume that won't be that often.
  2. There is one position that the Bills neglect over and over and over again. Bills would rather run a 1970s college offense then get a QB.
  3. Tyrod in a two minute drill? Tyrod in the 4th quarter?
  4. The Bills have a poor offensive line?
  5. Aaron Maybin. Bills draft a guy that fans were aware was too small before the draft. You just don't draft a defensive end that was 235 lbs playing weight and got his sacks in college where he ran untouched to the QB.
  6. I don't think Kaepernick is not getting a job because of racism. Who knows but more likely is Kapernick isn't that good. He'll get a backup offer at some point is my guess.
  7. I believe the thread was already discussing TT before me but thanks for making stuff up.
  8. It's all speculation but I think Tyrod keeps Dak on bench but coaching staff is so wowed with Dak that they just let Tyrod go and start Dak this year.
  9. As soon as Dak stepped on the field the Cowboys knew they struck gold, There is a reason they had no panic when they lost Romo.
  10. The Bills decided it was more important to spend 3 picks on an inside linebacker then draft a QB last year. They traded the pick they were going to use to draft Dak Prescott. You might like this ridiculous unfocused strategy. I do not. And for the record, if Trubisky and Mahomes were gone before ten I would not reach for someone else.
  11. The term "trolls" doesn't mean people who disagree with you. You're using the word wrong.
  12. Yes. I am in the Mahomes at 10 bucket. He will not drop to our 2nd round pick. I expect him gone 13 to late 20's.
  13. No, I spelled out what I thought. But will do so again. Many dislike Kapernick for various reasons. Some because they just want to watch football. Some because they think America is already perfect and needs no changes or reforms. Some because they feel any criticism of society is criticism of them. And then, unfortunately there are the real racists who decided to attack Kaepernick and threaten his life. If there is someone that feels any disagreement with Kaepernick is racism then take it up with that person, not me.
  14. Badol, the problem is that many of us don't want to wait for a "couple more years". The process of drafting and developing a QB needed to start yesterday.
  15. You're putting words in my mouth again. I just said that there are people that disagree with Kaepernick who are NOT racists. They like to cheer for the home team and it's like a football game to them. Please respond to what I write and stop debating arguments I am not advancing.
  16. The facts are not in dispute. Colin Kaepernick received death threats and racial attacks for doing what he did. You might think that's "normal". I think it's unfortunate. The George Carlin quote speaks for itself. Your interpretation of it shows you have no idea what he is saying. Funny how you glossed over my first sentence then put words in my mouth, "You can disagree with Kaepernick and not be a racist."
  17. You can disagree with Kaepernick and not be a racist. Some of these people are just what George Carlin would call the "symbol-minded". "I don't get all choked up about yellow ribbons and American flags. I consider them to be symbols and I leave symbols to the symbol minded." George Carlin The problem is the anti-Kaepernick crowd who are overt racists or who call him for him to die because he made a point they disagree with.
  18. You mean like this? Colin Kaepernick, the 49ers quarterback whose refusal to stand for the national anthem has rocked the NFL and ignited a fierce debate about patriotism, free speech and the American flag, says he has received death threats since he began his protest last month. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2016/sep/20/colin-kaepernick-death-threats-national-anthem-protest-nfl
  19. They lucked out with Kyle Williams and Brad Butler wasn't bad before he got tired of football. But the thought process was filling needs and patching holes with high picks. And that same thought process seems to be in play at One Bills Drive.

  22. I just Googled Walsh and Druckenmiller and found this... And then there's Jim Druckenmiller. In 1997 the 49ers made the fateful decision to ignore Bill Walsh's recommendation of Jake Plummer and instead used their 26th overall pick to select QB Jim Druckenmiller out of Virginia Tech. I was a fan of Jake the Snake dating back to Arizona State but I was quick to sell myself on the big bad Druckenmiller. He had a huge arm and played in a pro style offense with the Hokies. What wasn't there to love about the guy? Turns out plenty. http://www.ninersnation.com/2011/4/15/2111698/49ers-top-10-nfl-draft-busts-no-1-jim-druckenmiller-quarterback
  23. If the Bills had hired Kyle Shanahan we could have used him as our primary QB guru/scout. If a glance back at Shanahan’s 2014 scouting aptitude is any indicator of his overall eye for talent, the 49ers may be getting a coach who possesses the rare combination of being outstanding at evaluating talent, as well as elite in his offensive scheming abilities. Thursday, Shanahan spoke to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com where he confirmed that he advised the Cleveland Browns to draft Raiders quarterback Derek Carr or Patriots QB Jimmy Garoppolo over Johnny Manziel to no avail. “They had me look at every quarterback and evaluate every quarterback,” Shanahan said at the Super Bowl, per Cabot. “That’s everywhere. They ask you to evaluate everyone and you give grades and . . . you have to wait and see what happens.” Luckily for Raiders fans, the Browns did what the Browns do, and failed miserably on their draft pick. http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/dish/201405/browns-100000-study-finds-teddy-bridgewater-best-qb-draft Instead of listen to Shanahan who wanted Carr or the 100,000 dollar study that said Bridgewater the Brown then drafted Johnny Manziel because a homeless guy walked up to their owner and told him to take Johnny! That's why I advocated the Bills hire a QB Czar, the best QB scout they could find with Pegula bucks. Then hire an elite QB guru/offensive mastermind like Jim Bob Cooter. Instead, here we are hoping our defensive minded coach and Whaley have what it takes.
  24. You missed the post I replied to where someone mentioned Wentz, Winston, Mariotta, etc. It sounds like you just don't believe in drafting QB's unless there is a John Elway level prospect available. Obviously, I disagree with your don't draft QB's strategy. I suspect John will not be enjoying the games either.
  25. Good scouting is watching a player in college and trying to see if they have the necessary traits to play well in the NFL. Go ahead and post a draft profile for a 5th round or 6th round expected pick in 2017 that reads like Tom Brady or Kurt Warner coming out.
