  1. The Bills scored a point-a-minute in Super Bowl 25. The problem was that they only had the ball for 19 minutes because the defense couldn't get off the field because of pathetic tackling and blown assignments.
  2. NXT: TakeOver and the Royal Rumble..... TakeOver is going to be the best event of the weekend, though.
  3. Or being able to score 37 points does..... The best defense in the 4th Quarter and OT was the coin toss.
  4. Worst part about this is all we're going to hear is how great Brady is and how he did it again when in reality, he threw a pick and, because some idiot doesn't know where to put his hand on the ground, he gets bailed out again. Sickening......
  5. That's not a catch, but we all know it will be.
  6. Wish we ran pick plays like that on a regular basis like the good teams do. On a side note, unfortunately there is still way too much time on the clock to even get remotely excited. With the refs in their pocket, it seems like a foregone conclusion.
  7. If Allen was playing in this game like Mahomes has so far, he would be getting ripped to shreds. Let's just hope Allen is playing in this game next season to have the opportunity to get roasted.
  8. While defense is important, at the end of the day, points win. The top 2 offenses in the NFL, along with #5 and #8 are playing to go to the Super Bowl and no top 10 defense is to be found in the group. Kansas City Chiefs (#1 in Offense) (#31 in Defense) Los Angeles Rams (#2 in Offense) (#31 in Defense) New England Patriots (#5 in Offense) (#19 in Defense) New Orleans Saints (#8 in Offense) (#14 in Defense) An elite defense used to be a lot more important than it is in today's new NFL. Defense can help you win a game on any given day, but in the end, great offenses matter so much more. Scoring points matters more than ever. I just hope we can put the pieces together to compete in today's game.
  9. I'll say this.... He knows how to track and high-point the ball. Not sure he has top-end athleticism, but he offers a catch radius. Will he make it? Who knows..... I'm all for trying it, though.
  10. On a side note, these announcers are awful. Just painful to listen to.
  11. What is the run/pass ratio on first down today. That's all you need to look at.
  12. Game should have been over at halftime. That's what a defensive head coach and conservative play calling gets you. The good teams put the hammer down even harder and bury you. A defensive-minded head coach plays not to lose. That gets you beat.
  13. Really need to start throwing the ball on early downs. Miami, and every other team for that matter, is sitting on the run knowing it is coming. Not doing Allen any favors when it is 3rd and long every series.
  14. Because he would have quit halfway through the game.......
  15. Best case is that Allen throws for 400+ yards, 5+ TDs, no picks and we still lose (preferably because we give up 5 punt and kick returns for TDs). This way, we all see something great from Allen, the defense is not awful and Crossman definitely gets fired. The only reason to be interested in this game is to see how Allen performs. As fans, we should all want him to put up great numbers, but having a top 5-7 pick would be great as well.
  16. That Chiefs vs Seahawks game tonight really put into perspective just how lacking the Bills are at the WR position. I've seen a number of contested catches, all much more difficult than what the Bills WRs couldn't come up with today. Get some weapons that can actually make the plays when they're there.
  17. I'll say this..... the Bills have been awful in all 3 phases today. However, with a couple of plays that should have easily been made, we would be right in this game. All that said, if the Cheatriots* play like this in the Playoffs, they aren't beating anyone.
  18. For sure..... Just awful on both sides of the ball.
  19. If we had a legit #1, we would have 2 TDs on the board today. Foster has been pretty terrible.
  20. In the grand scheme of things, a win or loss in that game didn't matter. Also, Allen had been playing well. Couple that with the fact that he has run for almost 500 yards this season, it doesn't really matter what the OL and WRs have been like. They are capable of getting 2 yards. They just didn't on that occasion Fact is, whether you get it or not, it is a 1 score game. It's the right call every time (unless it's really late in the game and a FG makes it a 1 score game instead of a 2 score game).
  21. Just because a play doesn't work, doesn't mean that the decision to go for it was wrong. Two separate things. Teams leave way too many points on the field because they play scared and don't go for 4th and short as much as they should. Be aggressive. With an huge, elite athlete, at QB, picking up 4th and short will happen more often than not. As we add more talent, the ability to convert 4th and short should turn into a weapon for us. Take advantage of it.
  22. 13 point dogs? I'll take it...... This is a game, if the Bills win and Allen plays well, can do a lot for his perception around the league and perhaps silence his critics for a while. Go get it, boys!!!
  23. That's the spirit!
