  1. It's the Buffalo News way I guess. People like Bucky and Sully can't write an article about the Winter Olympics without giving at least one dig in against the Bills, no matter how tangential it is. He says Dan Manucci started 19 games. I knew there was no way. He started one game - a strike game. Don't you think you can take every team and do this same thing?
  2. I love my seats - sunny side - 108, protected by the wall from the wind. So, here in Buffalo we love the sunny side...........And, in many other places you have to pay $5 or more extra for the shady side!
  3. It seems to me that this has nothing to do with a stadium. They are turning this into a state park. I don't want to make this political. But, I am Republican and vote mostly R across the board, but I always vote for Higgins, because of what he has done for the waterfront. I know he has his haters, including some of my friends, but I argue - who was going anything until he came along? Donn Esmonde agrees: http://www.buffalonews.com/columns/its-higgins-who-deserves-our-thanks-for-the-waterfront-20130905
  4. I was thinking that I might as well unfollow him because he really doesn't have anything to add. But, then just a little while ago, he did a give and take with Bills fans and gave some honest non-sarcastic answers to good questions: Tim Graham ‏@ByTimGraham 37m Let's have a postgame mini-chat. I'll take the first five questions about the Bills. Fire away. This is the type of thing I started following him and the other writers for.
  5. Interesting. I thought Schopp was kidding today when he said the Sabres game was on 1520 espn radio. So, during weekends and overnight, I guess they'll both have the same thing on?
  6. I'm not about to read over 24 pages to see if this has been covered (this site is too popular for it's own good now!). But, after hearing Joe B on GR today say that a team that trades for him is under the same guidelines as the Bills - cannot sign him to a long term contract until next year, how can this make any sense? Why would Byrd want to go without getting a long term deal, but why would a team make some sort of promise that they will sign him to whatever - $50M/5 years next winter, and then have him blow out his knee? There's no way they would be able to live up to that. And, these draft picks I'm hearing - 3rd and 4th. Wouldn't we get that anyway as compensatory??
  7. I thought the NFTA IS a state agency? At least when I worked for those chumps for summer jobs, I thought I was a state employee.
  8. You're on the shady side.
  9. A newpaper reporter's job is to be a twitter troll? How does that benefit him, his newspaper or anybody? I can't believe what an asshat he has become. You question anything, he says "Thanks for the follow." Does he really think he's so charismatic that people follow him, and not the fact that he's a Bills reporter?
  10. I thought this whole thing was about better rope?
  11. LOL............Girls this cute don't sh*t, do they??:
  12. Near death or on Dancing with the Stars - one of those things: http://gma.yahoo.com/dancing-with-the-stars-2013-season-17-cast-announced-192113776.html
  13. Keep practicing!
  14. How do they stay so thin when they eat that much??
  15. No wonder they tacked on those extra 1000 years.
  16. I was just reading thru aol and read this story: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/03/marijuana-deaths_n_3860418.html?utm_hp_ref=mostpopular And, this comment by this guy made me wonder why we don't all just get stoned since it would cure everything and make everybody so much smarter. Of course it was voted best comment or whatever by all the stoned commenters: COMMUNITY PUNDITS Coinyer101 5 hours ago ( 6:32 PM) 9757 Fans Cannabis heightens my focus on the 'task at hand', and it enhances my creativity and artistic abilities. It expands my ability to think outside the box, [sometimes I'm even, like, amazed at myself for some of the stuff that just pops outta my head...,], and it keeps me calm so I don't stress out about stoopit stuff that would ruin a lot of other people's days. I work hard. My bosses have never had any complaints, and many of them knew up front that I was a toker, and they always call me back when they need me. I've never had a traffic ticket, or traffic accident in all my years of driving while stoned. I have operated vehicles, from skateboards to fire trucks, tow trucks, farm tractors, combines, and anything else I can get my hands on. It also made me popular enough to have , like , 9,720 fans and friends at the H P , too..., that's awesome! Being high on weed is nothing like being high on alcohol , or pharmaceuticals. It's different. It's safe. The stories you've been told were not true. Experience it, yourself. Make up your own mind, but, don't knock it, unless you've tried it....,
  17. Good job! I was thinking there was somebody like that - from my football cards. I was thinking Edgar Chandler, but I checked and it wasn't him (man he died at age 46 in 1992!) I knew it was somebody that we had more than one guy with that last name.
  18. Haha - you just beat me to it! I was going to ask if strike players counted. I wonder if there were any other strike players who came back for a game or two.
  19. Yeah, that's what really sucks about this.
  20. When did he get it? He must have it had while he was holding out, right? I don't think you would just get it in a few days of practice, would you?
  21. No, I'm not kidding. I don't follow this like it's life and death to me.
  22. Has he ever stated that he will only play QB or something. It's pretty obvious his only chance now is some sort of TE/FB type position.
  23. Yeah, I don't get it because they came up with the same number.
